This podcast is an extension of her commitment to unfiltered reporting and it's no surprise that she is loved not just locally, but globally as well.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Kiran's dedication to telling stories that may have otherwise been overlooked. She brings attention to cases like Allison Rice, shedding light on important issues and providing a platform for those who may not have had a voice otherwise. Her in-depth reporting brings new information and perspective to these stories, even for those who may already be familiar with them.

Her genuine connection with listeners shines through in each episode, making it feel like you're having a conversation with a trusted friend.
On the downside, while Kiran's dedication to telling the truth is commendable, some listeners may find her approach too confrontational or biased at times. Additionally, some episodes may benefit from more thorough research or fact-checking to ensure accuracy.
In conclusion, The Louisiana Unfiltered podcast is an exciting addition to the world of journalism and storytelling. Kiran's commitment to unfiltered reporting and dedication to uncovering the truth make this podcast stand out from others in the genre. While there may be room for improvement in terms of objectivity and research, overall this podcast offers an engaging listening experience that will leave you wanting more.

Executive Producer Daniel Brown joins Louisiana Unfiltered host Kiran Chawla as they discuss the alarming rise in Interstate shootings in the Baton Rouge area. In the last three weeks, there have been four interstate shootings in the Baton Rouge area. Road rage-related shootings in the state have increased by over 400% from 2014 to 2023.While Louisiana ranks 22nd in the nation for road rage incidents involving guns, cities like New Orleans have seen a significant number of fatal and non-fatal shootings. The increase in road rage incidents is believed to be linked to impatience, speeding, tailgating, and aggressive driving. Law enforcement faces challenges in solving these cases due to limited surveillance cameras on interstates and the difficulty of identifying vehicles involved in high-speed incidents.Solutions to the problem are limited, but individuals can take precautions such as giving aggressive drivers space, avoiding arguments or obscene gestures, keeping windows up and doors locked, and calling 911 if feeling threatened. Slowing down and practicing patience can make a difference in preventing road rage incidents.#interstateshootings #roadrage #louisiana #BatonRouge #NewOrleans #podcast #LouisianaUnfiltered #KiranChawla #unfilteredTimestamps 02:29 The Impact of Road Rage Shootings on Families09:52 National Statistics on Road Rage Shootings16:08 Factors Contributing to Road Rage Incidents21:46 Concerns and Precautions for Interstate Travel26:12 Targeted Shootings and Challenges for Law Enforcement29:45 The Importance of Patience and Personal Safety35:29 Taking Precautions on the RoadLocal Sponsors For This Episode: Unspeakable: A True Crime Podcast by Kelly Jennings: Kelly is most recognizable for her sass and humor combined with a “no nonsense approach” to true crime story telling.
