Directed by Rodrigo Perez-Castro & Ricardo Curtis, NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE creates a world of animated mayhem. When an alien encounter props an attack of gummy zombies (gumbies?) on the local zoo, a wolf with a heart of gold named Gracie must team up with an unlikely pack of animals to try save the world and themselves. In this 1on1, we speak to Perez-Castro and Curtis about working with Clive Barker, creating children's horror and the usefulness of fear.

In Conversations With Tom Petty, when author Paul Zollo asks about the origins of the song, Tom explains “It was when Jeff and George (Jeff Lynne and George Harrison obviously), went out to Anaheim to ask Roy Orbison to be in the band (the Traveling Wilburys, again obviously). We were writing everything we saw. One line I remember that we saw on a billboard was “every day is judgment day”. That later turned up in “End of the Line”, the Wilburys song.” He goes on to explain that “We stopped at a restaurant on the way back and these punky-looking guys recognized us and came over. I said “Where have you been? Where are you playing?” and they said “The Zombie Zoo” and out came the pads…”Today's episode covers the last track from Full Moon Fever, Zombie zoo.You can listen to the song here: https://youtu.be/hZTkF2cx9z4The Tom Petty Project is a proud member of The Deep Dive Podcast Network, which you can find on Twitter: https://twitter.com/deepdivepodnetDon't forget to follow me on social media, like, subscribe, and please, leave a rating if you like the show:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thetompettyprojectTwitter: https://twitter.com/TomPettyProjectInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetompettyproject/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt6BLRWuuAR43zHpNKIirOwAll music, including the theme song, provided by my very best friend Randy Woods. We'll be posting bonuses occasionally here, and some of them will be throwbacks to previous podcasts we've recorded. Here's a quick guide: - "CB RADIO" - previously released episodes of The Chuck and Brad Podcast - "RHMC" - previously released episodes of Ray Harrington Must Content - "CB RAYDIO" - previously released episodes of The Chuck and Brad Podcast that feature Ray Harrington Last week on our episode with Walt Flanagan and Gitem Steve-Dave, we mentioned an episode of The Chuck and Brad Podcast where Brad, Chuck and Ray each presented their own pitches for "Godzilla vs. Kong" (as well as the Chuck's pitch for his original film "Zombie Zoo"). So we decided to repost that very special episode here on the Funbearable feed as a bonus. It's one of our favorite episodes of The Chuck and Brad Podcast, and one of the recordings that led us down the path to Funbearable! Enjoy! @funbearablepod
This episode is a Mind With a Heart of its Own, a Zombie Zoo, a good girl who loves her mama, Elvis and America too. We're paying tribute, but goin off the rails, too. We have some fun with Scooby Doo, Lucky from King of the Hill, and sing an outtro parody to Free Fallin where we reveal next weeks album. As always, we rank our three non-hits. Guess which one of us has Zombie Zoo at number 3?Enjoy!Support the show

"Free Fallin'", "I Won't Back Down", "Runnin' Down a Dream", ... ++++++++++Song-Tipps zur Folge++++++++++ "Free Fallin", "I Won't Back Down", "A Face In The Crowd", "Runnin' Down A Dream", "Yer So Bad", "Depending On You", "Zombie Zoo"

To kick it off, we jump into JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY which has nothing to do with Thor and friends. This run was an anthology series that collected old Marvel and Atlas fantasy stories. In this particular issue, the writer of ZOMBIE ZOO falls victim to a vampiric Smurf; a genie grants a nihilistic child unlimited wishes; a Spencer’s Gifts gimmick sphere predicts George Costanza’s wife’s death; and a millionaire jokester terrorizes party guests with his Gremlins pneumatic chair.
