When Utah mom, Kouri Richins, penned a children's book about grief after the sudden death of her husband, the story gripped the nation, but not for the reasons she intended. Behind the heartwarming pages was a chilling allegation that has yet to be confirmed or denied, and it's that Kouri may have been the one who poisoned her husband with a lethal dose of fentanyl.Make sure you're following along as we upload new episodes every Monday, and as always, thank you for listening!Contact us crimewithak@gmail.comFollow us on Instagram @crimewithakSources for this episode include:Support the show

Send us a text In the early 1980s, a series of brutal killings left a small town on edge, as victims were found bludgeoned to death with a hammer. Between 1984 and 1985, a small community in Colorado was shaken by a string of brutal killings in which the victims were savagely beaten to death with a hammer. Each crime scene presented eerie similarities: the victims were found in their homes, often alone, with no sign of forced entry. Send us a textOn Monday July 25, 1994, a man walked into the Newport, Oregon Police Department, holding a human skull in his hands. Upon investigating the skull, it was confirmed that all of the teeth were still intact, so police used dental records to try and confirm who this skull belonged to. About a week later, these dental records came back as a match to a missing person. The dental records confirmed that the skull was a 17-year-old woman named Kelly Disney, who disappeared 10 years earlier on March 9, 1984 in Newport, Oregon. Now, almost 40 years later, there are still no answers in the disappearance and murder of Kelly Disney, and she wasn't the only one to go missing on Oregon's highways.
