The EquippingU Podcasts are 30-minute interviews that will underline priorities and values vital to healthy leaders and churches. Each season (10 to 13 episodes) will offer a wide range of topics to equip, encourage, and challenge you as a pastor or leader.
The EquippingU Podcast is not your typical podcast about ministry and church. As someone who is not a pastor, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this podcast. One episode in particular that stood out to me was the one featuring Amy Roedding and The Alliance's heart for bringing men and women into the harvest work. It was refreshing to hear a perspective that promotes equality and inclusivity in ministry. This podcast serves as a voice for women in ministry, which is something that is often lacking in many Christian podcasts.
One of the best aspects of The EquippingU Podcast is the way Terry and Alan are able to get their guests to open up about church and church planting. They ask insightful questions that lead to meaningful conversations. The discussions are practical and offer real wisdom that can be applied to everyday ministry situations. The guests bring a wealth of experience and knowledge, making each episode engaging and informative.
In terms of downsides, there really isn't much to criticize about this podcast. Perhaps one minor drawback could be that some episodes may not resonate with everyone, depending on personal interests or specific ministry contexts. However, this is only a minor issue as the majority of episodes provide valuable insights regardless of individual circumstances.
In conclusion, The EquippingU Podcast is definitely worth listening to if you are involved in ministry or have an interest in learning more about it. The hosts do an excellent job at facilitating meaningful conversations with their guests, resulting in episodes filled with practical advice and wisdom. Whether you're a pastor or someone like me who simply enjoys learning more about ministry, this podcast offers valuable insights that will equip you for your own calling. I am excited for future seasons and can't wait to see what topics they delve into next!
