    We're in the middle of a harvest, gather your tomatoes, hang them upside down, nibble your carrot like a corncob, sun gold tomato sauce, lettuce, spinach, pansies, mums, asters, nasturtiums, so proud of my dahlias, mystery bulbs, gladiolus, cosmos, I've never known that life, secrets in the age of Instagram, fingernails, hands in the dirt, planting bulbs, daffodils, impression tulips, the earlier the tulip - the shorter the stem, roses, campanula, hardy geraniums, crocuses make me so happy, plant two things in 1 hole, hardy mums, daffodils in the lawn, easter egg them, chucking daffodils left and right, deer proof, groundhog tastes a flower, native planting plug, creeping thyme, clover, foxgloves, moss, I love my dead nettles, blackberry, Crossbow, now is the time when the plants' energy goes back into its roots, staggering along the ropes but you didn't knock it out, you're getting your gardening chops, Sissinghurst, great gardeners garden now, hosta la vista baby, shasta daisies, rhythm in my border, dividing, coriander, , think twice – plant once, pickles, eggplants, tomato sauce, ragu, rosemary, grilled eggplant parmesan, zucchini, good luck with your gardening harvest, my heart is with you, garlic, tofu larb recipe, we're praying for rain.

    It's been an unusually hot summer for everyone, hallucinating chickens, we all have to look after each other, that's a great big hunk of humanity, life outweighs getting to the next showing on time, getting a little bit chillier in mid to late September, rip up your tomato plants and hang them in the garage, and why would I do that?, get over the guilt of not starting earlier, Forrest is freaking out that the house is becoming less house and more jungle, we need to talk about gardening husbandry, give your partner at little piece of the garden, we're getting some major rain outside, geraniums, citronella geraniums, we're buggy, brilliant, octagon slab garden, lemongrass, oh oh oh, Rose of Sharon, strawberry flower bed, this is me being exactly what not to do, I have no idea what they are, when you take a plant out of the ground you should cut it back a bit, as above so below, I love your enthusiasm and your willingness to experiment, there's always next year, I would keep more notes, Christopher Lloyd, Great Dixter, Fergus Garrett, “once you've got your garden in, most of gardening is editing”, working with nature, name your beds, it's amazing, a busy winter planning everything I want to put in, how did I not know that?, boxwood, as you try something all your intelligence and awareness kicks in, calendar reminders, don't cut perennials anymore, don't dead head roses now, cleaning up garden, onions, carrots, flowerbeds, good bugs & animals need cover, one of the things I did right…, fat ground hog hangs out with the chickens, rotate your crops, bad bugs know here to find your tomatoes if you keep planting them in the same spot, nightshade plants, cold crops, what! That's insane, walls of water, bugs outnumber us 10,000 to 1, you get depressed, Seven, good bugs need to keep alive, ants & peonies, manure and mulch, worms love cardboard, Bob's your uncle, poppies, cornstarch will stop seeds reseeding, I love a mossy crosswalk, best thing about your garden?, crocuses, peas, clematis, wisteria, Chester the dog, you can't beat a list, give your insects a place to hibernate under your flower leaves, winter web research strategies, dream bigger than what you see around you, persicaria, filipendula, now is the time for dreaming, English Garden magazine, give yourself the gift of what's coming next, shredded pork with garlic sauce, love you whole bunches.

    Starting to get hot and muggy, coldest wettest spring since 2010, why are we here?, once every 12 years the rains come…, it reminds me of what England must be all year long, Flanders and Swann, talking about berries, raspberries, blackberries, they were scary, there's no plan, golden raspberries, feed ‘em, strawberries, the more you pick the more they grow, runners, I forbid Forrest, transplant, my dream is to have a fresh strawberry pie, suckers have 3 years until retirement, vertical gardening, yum yum yum, painting rocks red, tiered beds, spilling the tea, blueberries, shallow roots, they were gone and so was she, blackberries, you don't know until it's in your mouth, it's like a Harry Potter jelly bean, early memory of sitting in the strawberry patch at U-pick, English screened structures, the internet is dangerous because it convinces me I can get way too far over my head, cold frame, Addicted To Gardening, we love bargins, lilies of the valley, I'm going I'm going I promise, plant consciousness, Cornell, psychic plants, ask your plants, square holes, biennials, foxgloves, hollyhocks, parsley, campanulas, honesty, the irony of money becoming honesty, Bam it Blooms!, trimming trees, Indian food for dinner, mango lassi, mango cilantro ginger smoothie, unfrozen homemade lasagna from last year's garden, hippy dippy moment, apples, tomatoes, I love you.
