How to find Peace in your mind?

Relax with Meditation

I have seen a short video about that. -The women said it is enough to do everything at best and contribute to the world, to make the world better…This is not enough!Imagine you are in a football team and your team like to visit a cave close to your area…After you enter the cave, it starts to rain, and you cannot go out anymore. The cave is flooded, and you try to find a dry place. You wait 14 days until you get rescued… What to do in the meantime????Meditation!!!I want to remember at these amazing Cave rescue in Chiang Rai/Thailand on the 11July 2018.My question is Why?Regardless of what we are doing, we need a spiritual place inside of ourselves that is outside of our situation. Because we never, never can find lasting peace in our worldly doing. The world is for accomplishment and not designed for peace.Even the greatest worldly love is very unharmonious. We can only find Peace In Mind inside of our True Self or in God, or in Meditation!!!The greatest gift is to be connected with God and to surrender our lives to God.The next best is to find peace in mind through meditation. If you chase only worldly things, you are an inferior being…Because you never will have a spiritual place where you can find peace in mind.In Scotland was the famous spiritual community FINDHORN founded from previous officers… Sounds weird…?Because during WWII these officers found peace in mind on the battlefield! They saw the Light of God in their most dangerous situations! And after WWII they founded Findhorn!! You can even be very successful like Dr. Patrick Liew and believe in God as a Chinese. That is not a contradiction!!!And that proves Dr. Patrick Liew. Today Dr. Patrick Liew's agenda is to help other people in emergencies, in poverties and to become rich and successful. If you develop faith in God, you are one of the wealthiest Person in the Galaxy… And you will find peace in God like the founders of Findhorn. Without deep faith in God, we can only find peace in mind with meditation… I embrace God and meditate! Both are better!  My Video: How to find Peace in your mind? https://youtu.be/AdMrJU37ja8My Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.B/How-to-find-Peace-in-your-mind.mp3

Holy Heretics: Losing Religion and Finding Jesus

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 25, 2024 60:01

Episode Summary:John Philip Newell is best described as “a wandering teacher with the heart of a Celtic bard and the mind of a Celtic scholar.” Formerly the Warden of Iona Abbey in the Western Isles of Scotland, John Philip joined me from his home in Edinburgh to offer a new, yet ancient way forward in a time when the empire has once again wedded and bedded Christianity.Long before the colonizing forces of imperial Christianity made their way to the British Isles, an indigenous form of spirituality nourished those sacred souls living in the borderlands of Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. The Celts believed divinity pervaded every aspect of life. There was no distinction between secular and sacred, human and divine. The Celtic vision of the world is essentially sacramental, perceiving God's presence in ordinary things like rocks, forests, springs, groves, hills, and meadows. “The Celtic approach to God opens up a world in which nothing is too common to be exalted and nothing is so exalted that it cannot be made common,” writes Esther De Waal. For them, the natural world is the container of the sacred and a gateway to the luminous—the holy intersection between mortals and the supernatural. These tribes bewildered the Roman church because they were relational rather than rational, inspirational rather than institutional, and indigenous instead of imperial. In this modern age, when we find ourselves divorced from the natural world, addicted to technology, controlled by institutional religion, and victims of an empire of our own making, there is a great deal to learn from the ancient Celts. We need nothing less than a reclamation of our humanity, a rekindling of the Beltaine Fire burning in every human heart. Most of us are still reeling from the recent presidential election. The dark forces of authoritarianism, patriarchy, and white supremacy are chronically ingrained in the highest levels of government, blessed and absolved by white Christianity. But here's what I'm slowly starting to believe—every dark ending births a new beginning. Evil never has the last word. We've been given a dark gift, a chance to resist and re-imagine the world as it should be. We are living in liminal time, “when we can't go back but we can't see the way forward,” writes my friend Melanie Mudge. What better time to wake up, “dream new dreams,” and rekindle the sacred flame in every human soul. As John Philip reminds us:“We live in a threshold moment. We are waking up to the earth again. We are awakening to the feminine and the desire to faithfully tend the interrelationship of all things. In this moment, politically, culturally, and religiously, we are witnessing the death throes of a shadow form of masculine power that has arrayed itself over against the earth and over against the sacredness of the feminine. This shadow form of power, however, has no ultimate future, for it is essentially false in its betrayal of the earth and the feminine. So in fear it is lashing out with unprecedented force. But it is not the deep spirit of this moment in time. Something else is trying to be born.”Celtic spirituality is needed now more than ever. Allow John Philip to lead you into deeper streams of indigenous wisdom where action and contemplation, vision and profound mystery light our collective way forward. His latest book, The Great Search, is out now. Bio:John Philip Newell (b 1953) is an internationally renowned Celtic teacher and author of spirituality who calls the modern world to reawaken to the sacredness of Earth and every human being.Canadian by birth, and also Scottish, he resides with his wife Ali in the ecovillage of Findhorn in Scotland. In 2016 he began the Earth & Soul initiative and teaches regularly in the United States and Canada as well as leading international pilgrimage weeks on Iona in the Western Isles of Scotland. His PhD is from the University of Edinburgh and he has authored over fifteen books, including his award-winning publication, Sacred Earth Sacred Soul, which was the 2022 Gold Winner of the Nautilus Book Award for Spirituality and Religious Thought of the West. His new book, also with HarperOne (and published in the UK by Wild Goose), is The Great Search (August 2024), in which he looks at the great spiritual yearnings of humanity today in the context of the decline of religion as we have known it.Newell speaks of himself as ‘a wandering teacher' following the ancient path of many lone teachers before him in the Celtic world, ‘wandering Scots' (or scotus vagans as they were called) seeking the wellbeing of the world. He has been described as having ‘the heart of a Celtic bard and the mind of a Celtic scholar', combining in his teachings the poetic and the intellectual, the head as well as the heart, and spiritual awareness as well as political and ecological concern. His writings have been translated into seven languages. In 2020 he relinquished his ordination as a minister of the Church of Scotland as no longer reflecting the heart of his belief in the sacredness of Earth and every human being. He continues, however, to see himself as ‘a grateful son of the Christian household' seeking to be in relationship with the wisdom of humanity's other great spiritual traditions. In 2011 John Philip was awarded the first-ever Contemplative Voices Award from the Shalem Institute in Washington DC for his prophetic work in the field of spirituality and compassion. In 2022 he received the Sacred Universe Award from the Well Center for Spirituality in Chicago, IL in recognition of his significant work in furthering humanity's relationship with the sacredness of Earth. Please follow us on social media (use the buttons below) and help us get the word out! In this episode James and Forrest have a conversation with John Philip Newell about his new book, The Great Search: Turning to Earth and Soul in the Search for Healing and Home. In this book, John Philip argues for a re-imagining of how we relate to creation, to each other, to God and even to ourselves. He advocates for engaging creation as the primary means of knowing God, of seeing the sacred in all life forms, and of loving all creation as we love ourselves. Because the conversation was so full of emerging truths and insights, the conversation is presented in two parts. Here then is part one of a conversation with John Philip Newell.

Our guest this week is Dr Deborah Benham, Biomimicry Educator, Transition Town Co-Lead Link and Deep Nature Connection facilitator - which puts her in a place to really unpick what it will take for us to depart the crumbling remains of late-stage capitalism and build a world based on connection, coherence and community. From her early days as a Marine Biologist, through her PhD on sea otters (I am not remotely envious of someone who gets to study sea otters for 3 years!), to her time in a community near Findhorn and now in a co-housing community in Dorset, Deborah's life has been oriented towards holding a vision of humanity as a helpful species on this planet. As you'll hear, she's the co-Lead Link for Transition Network, the charity which supports the international Transition towns movement; she's a trained Biomimicry Educator and with a background in Jon Young's Deep Nature Connection work, Deborah brings a practical, experiential lived and living toolkit that she shares and teaches - of how we can build thriving human societies, cultures, communities and businesses, designing with and as nature, creating mutual benefit for all life, using tech in life affirming ways, and uplifting justice, kindness and cooperation. We often reach an impasse where we know roughly what needs to happen, but don't have the conceptual or practical tools to bring it into being. Deborah has both - she's fully grounded in the theory of how communities of support, practice and place can come into being and she's teaching and living the practice. The Six Pillars Of Manifestation

The Reality Revolution Podcast

Random House dictionary defines manifestation as the act of making something “readily perceived by the eye or the understanding; evident; obvious; apparent; plain.” Manifestation is the act of making something invisible visible. It is the act of turning something abstract into something concrete and something potential into something real.  That's simple enough, and it's something we do in both conscious and unconscious ways every day. We make our thoughts plain and evident through our actions and our speech; in so doing, we are manifesting our ideas, our feelings, even our whole personalities. We do our work, and as a consequence, we manifest a product or a service.  Normally, we do this kind of manifesting in very ordinary ways in the physical world. We use familiar resources such as money, labor, or creativity to bring things we wish into our lives. But sometimes something we need or want just appears, as if by coincidence, without any seeming effort or unusual activity on our part. Or perhaps we learn to use resources of the mind and spirit that go beyond the ordinary world. This idea provides a foundation for a cosmology of manifestation. Upon this foundation are six other related ideas. We can call them the six pillars of manifestation. The first three waves, interrelationship, and co-incarnates—deal with the structure of the cosmos. Like the concept of fields, they reflect the body of the universe. The second three—mind, essence, and unity—relate to the spirit that inhabits or expresses itself through that structure. They reflect the soul of the universe. This body and soul are not two separate things but two aspects of one mystery: one single universal incarnation.

In the early to mid '60s many Western cities were magnets drawing the young and hip in from the regions, shaking off the austerity of the '50s, joining their urban peers in experimenting with new and radical ways of loving and living. Communes and squats sprung up all over cities like London. But as the '60s drew to a close, there was a reverse movement as many left the cities heading back out into the shires to rry an d buuld a new kind of sociey in the quieter, slower life of village and market town.  Some settled in North Suffolk and South Norfolk, an open countryside of low hills and wide plains with few towns and many villages where a commune movement was established from 1965. But what was like to live in a commune? What was it like to be born and grown up in a commune? NANCY THOMSON came to the Bureau to tell us. She was born in The Shrubb Family Commune - one that was set up in a big old farmhouse in rural Norfolk in 1970 - and, remarkably, one that is still going today. It's a complex tumultous tale  - and at times a rather bewildering tapestry of overlapping relationships and familes, the British class system, rural life, travellers, gypsies and the gentry, encounter groups, blackmail, rogue psychiatrists, lsd - and horses.. #communes #counterculture #findhorn #findhornfoundation #utopia #alternativecommunities #intentionalcommunities #esoteric #hippie #shrubbfamily #globaltruckingcompany #drugs #lsd #psychiatry The countercultural movement of the 1960s and 1970s in Britain gave rise to a surge of communal living experiments known as hippy communes or intentional communities. These collectives emerged as an alternative to mainstream society, rejecting consumerism, conventionality, and materialism in favor of a more liberated, eco-friendly, and cooperative way of life.   The origins of this communal living trend can be traced back to the mid 60s, when a confluence of social, political, and cultural factors created an environment ripe for such experiments. The widespread opposition to the Vietnam War, the rise of the hippie counterculture, and the burgeoning environmental and back-to-the-land movements all contributed to the growth of communal living arrangements.   One of the earliest and most influential British hippy communes was Findhorn in Scotland, established in 1962 by Peter and Eileen Caddy and Dorothy Maclean. Originally a small caravan park, Findhorn evolved into a thriving spiritual community centered around principles of sustainability, meditation, and harmony with nature. Its success inspired many other like-minded groups to establish their own communes across Britain.   As the movement gained momentum in the late 1960s, a wave of new communes emerged, each with its own unique philosophy and approach to communal living. Some, like The Diggers in Cornwall and the Laurieston Hall community in Scotland, focused on self-sufficiency through organic farming and sustainable living practices. Others, like the Freestone community in Essex and the Newbold Trust in Worcestershire, emphasized artistic expression, alternative spirituality, and personal growth.   Many of these communes adopted a back-to-the-land ethos, seeking to reconnect with nature and escape the constraints of urban living. They often established themselves in rural areas, repurposing abandoned farmhouses, old mills, or purchasing inexpensive land to build their communities from scratch. This allowed them to embrace a more self-reliant and environmentally conscious lifestyle, growing their own food, generating their own energy, and living off the land as much as possible.   While each commune had its own unique character and rules, they shared several common principles. Communal living, non-hierarchical decision-making processes, shared resources and responsibilities, and a commitment to peace and environmentalism were hallmarks of these communities. Many also embraced alternative lifestyles, such as polyamory, nudism, or open relationships, challenging traditional societal norms.   As the 1970s progressed, the hippy commune movement faced various challenges, including internal conflicts, financial struggles, and external criticism from more conservative segments of society. Some communes disbanded or evolved into more structured communities, while others managed to endure and adapt to changing times.   One notable example of a long-lasting commune is Braziers Park in Oxfordshire, founded in 1950 and still active today. While not initially a traditional hippy commune, it embraced many of the same principles in the 1960s and 1970s, becoming a hub for alternative living, education, and environmental activism.   Another enduring community is the Findhorn Foundation, which has grown from its humble beginnings into a thriving eco-village and spiritual center, attracting visitors and residents from around the world.   Beyond the more well-known communes, countless smaller collectives and intentional communities also emerged during this period, often existing independently or flying under the radar. These included urban squatting communities, housing co-operatives, and alternative living arrangements that embraced the communal ethos without necessarily adopting the full-fledged "hippy" lifestyle. These communities served as laboratories for experimentation, pushing the boundaries of what was considered acceptable or possible, and leaving an enduring legacy that continues to influence various aspects of modern life.   The legacy of the British hippy commune movement can still be felt, even as mainstream society has largely moved on from the countercultural ideals of the 60s and 70s. Many of the principles and practices pioneered by these communities, such as sustainable living, cooperative decision-making, and alternative education, have been adopted and adapted by various organizations and movements. The communal living ethos has remained alive, albeit on a smaller scale, with contemporary intentional communities and eco-villages continuing to explore alternative ways of living and coexisting with nature.

Emily, a chartered accountant with an MA in regenerative economics, is not your average number cruncher. She's at the forefront of reimagining our financial systems, exploring the intersection of technology, governance, and the natural world. Join us as Emily unveils the bold concept of life-enabling economics (LEE) and the radical aspiration of establishing bioregional banks — a system where money is no longer a mere transactional tool but a means to foster a thriving web of life. From the Findhorn watershed initiative to the Sheffield River Don project, Emily details practical steps towards making these ideas a reality, including the creation of relationship registers and multivalent currencies like 'river coins'.The conversation also touches on the challenges of aligning current political and economic systems with these pioneering concepts. Emily shares insights into the Net Zero Cities team's efforts, working with 112 mission cities to forge climate city contracts and policy labs that embody a mission-oriented methodology. This episode is a call to action for all listeners to engage with these transformative ideas. If you're inspired by the potential of a future where financial systems are in harmony with ecological and social well-being, then tune in, offer your thoughts, and be part of the change. Emily's work is a testament to the power of collective imagination and the tangible steps we can take towards a regenerative economy. For those ready to delve deeper into the mechanics of these groundbreaking ideas, visit the show notes for links to the thought-provoking blogs and learn how you can contribute to this evolutionary journey. Accidental Gods is the platform where we explore the edges of possibility — and this episode is a beacon of hope for a world in dire need of economic renaissance. As I say at the top of the conversation, these are amongst the most interesting concepts I've ever read - and I spend my life exploring this field. I'd like to read you the opening paragraph of the Concept paper: "Instead of focusing on labour, property, individual or democratic rights, this vision seeks to unfurl the full potential of agrowing planetary consciousness. It is an expression of practical realism embedded in a deep respect for allmanifestations of life; past, present, human, more-than-human, the sacred and the machine. This economyseeks to move beyond the everyday codes of property, labour, capital and private contracts and break freefrom the constrictive dance of socio-political isms. It offers an unbounded understanding of agency, invitingthe full range of adjacent possibilities, thus refuting the exploitation of the many for the benefit of the few."and then a few paragraphs down, "At its core, this is a provocation of the heart. An invitation to cultivate lives of profound collaboration, dignity, psychological and physical freedom. It is a framework meshed in human embodied experience that criticallyincludes machine and non-human systems, integrating them into the same expansive beyond-paradigm ofinter-becoming."The two papers are in the show notes and they're definitely worth reading. In the meantime, this conversation moved even beyond these into whole new areas that, once again with DML, breached the boundaries of my thinking - in a good way.  Dark Matter Labs https://darkmatterlabs.org/Life Ennobling Economics Position Paper https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EiU8MQ3JKtuCJIUTrxkl2Fzx0xWBiWDu/viewLife Ennobling Economics Concept White Paper https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hNpgVEyYiERE0Jj3gczUfK9ki9GmrFRm/viewBlog on BioRegional Banks Part 1: https://provocations.darkmatterlabs.org/towards-multivalent-currencies-bioregional-monetary-stewardship-and-a-distributed-global-reserve-dac459dc844e Blog on BioRegional Banks Part 2: https://provocations.darkmatterlabs.org/towards-multivalent-currencies-bioregional-monetary-stewardship-and-a-distributed-global-reserve-38ed3849395fBlog on BioRegional Banks Part 3: https://provocations.darkmatterlabs.org/towards-multivalent-currencies-bioregional-monetary-stewardship-and-a-distributed-global-reserve-951ca09dd76dBlog on BioRegional Banks Part 4: The Swedish Cornerstone prototype was co-developed with Linnéa Rönnquist with the support of SamhällskontraktetEmily Harris in Episode #176 https://accidentalgods.life/bridging-from-the-necessary-to-the-possible-with-emily-harris-of-dark-matter-labs/Indy Johar Episode #205 https://accidentalgods.life/becoming-intentional-gods-claiming-the-future-with-indy-johar-of-the-dark-matter-labs/

My conversation with Monique Gauthier was too full of inspiring and helpful information, so I created this bonus episode to share some of the wisdom that couldn't fit in the full length episode. Here, Monique leads us through the centering meditation she does with her midwifery clients as they arrive in her office as well as shares some very practical tools for expecting families to cope with and prepare for labor. Monique Gauthier has been a midwife in the U.S and Canada for 30 years.  She has lived in intentional communities for most of her adult life.  She currently lives in Auroville, in Southern India.  She was faculty for Living Routes, which ran college-level programs in ecovillages such as Findhorn, Auroville and Thích Nhất Hạnh's Plum Village, in France.   She has  produced  the documentaries "Follow The Dirt Road; An Introduction To Intentional Communities in The 1990's"  and "Birthing Peace", about her mindful water births. She calls herself a “cultural midwife” who is tending to the birth of a conscious culture. She leads workshops and coaches for empowered birth, conscious families,  mindfulness, and other mind-body-spirit topics. As we close out 2023, it's time to take stock of the Communities Movement and consider where we might be headed in the future. In this episode we are joined by new FIC co-director Daniel Greenberg, who brings his deep experience from the ecovillage world, as well years living in and researching international communities like Findhorn and Auroville to his visions for what is possible for collaborative culture, communities, and the people who live and grow inside them. In 1999, Daniel Greenberg founded the non-profit Living Routes, which partnered with UMass-Amherst to run study abroad programs based in ecovillages around the world. Over 1,500 students were transformed by these immersive experiences. Daniel left Living Routes in 2012 to start a new social venture called Earth Deeds, which offers online tools for individuals and groups to “onset” their unavoidable CO2 emissions and support meaningful sustainability projects. Daniel has been a leading advocate for sustainability within international education and the ecovillage movement. He chaired Sustainability Task Forces for NAFSA:  Association of International Educators and the Forum for Education Abroad, is co-founder and past Board Member of Gaia Education, served as President of the Global Ecovillage Network from 2015-2019, and is currently co-director of the Foundation for Intentional Community. Be a creator. Are you a creator or a consumer? What is the balance in your life between consumption and creation? It is not easy society is all about consumption. At first, it was things, and now it is information. In this show, we are looking at the balance between what we consume and what we produce and how a little creativity could change your life.  I was chatting about media consumption with my son. Now he is of the digital generation, where his phone constantly provides news, entertainment or background music. He is either programming games or playing them when he is not on the phone. That is his chosen path and career so not just a care free or fruitless pastime.  While conceding there was a lot of consuming, he pointed out that gaming is an interactive, social, and creative activity. Watching him play some of his team games, they do require a full range of interactive skills and a level of creativity. My point on this show is not the right of wrongs of gaming, but the expression of creativity has a more significant positive effect on our well-being than solo consumption. I suspect while there is creativity in the gaming world, I feel there is more creativity in the shared experience with his playing companions. Community and being is groups,  I was singing this morning at the Park in Findhorn; there is something so magical when 40 people come together to sing in harmony. The creativity is in the shared sound and the community that it builds is way beyond listing to Spotify.  How can you be a creator?  When was the last time you picked up a pen or some colours and painted or did a drawing? There is something very soothing about creating patterns on a page and then adding some colour.  Have you ever wondered why adult colouring books are so popular? On this show, I mentioned Andrea Nelson's Art. You can find her here on YouTube https://www.instagram.com/andrea.nelson.art/ Her little videos are a great inspiration; they are short.

YouTube Version https://youtu.be/DlaVlJXJERsIt was in John's last wishes that Leigh Brennan and Patti Silva document the most important pieces of wisdom he gained from walking the Camino paths for over a quarter of a century. This project grew into this docuseries of several short but poignant video messages for Pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago. This is the first chapter of the multipart series. John stated the driving thought behind the title of this chapter by saying,  “The Camino as a Path of Awakening: This is, perhaps, the easiest to grasp because it pre-supposes we are asleep. Every mystical tradition has Awakening as a core theme of spiritual development and no more so than in Christianity. The Bible tells us that, ‘A great sleep came across Adam', and nowhere in the bible is there any reference to Adam waking up! We, collectively, are Adam and we remain asleep but now urgently need to awaken to a new consciousness. The Camino can offer us a path into transformation”.About John Brierley:John Brierley spent his early life in Dublin where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and set up practice as Brierley & Co in 1971 later merging with Jackson-Stops. An existential crisis took him and his family to Findhorn in Scotland in 1987 as part of a mid-career break. This was to prove a pivotal time in his life with a reordering of priorities towards a spiritual perspective. In 1996 he convened the international conference ‘Business for Life' where the core issue was identified as the crisis of the human spirit and the search for meaning in life. The idea of Business sabbaticals as an antidote to burn out and pilgrimage as a way to reappraise life's purpose became his abiding passion. In 2000 he walked up through Western Nepal into Tibet to complete the renowned Mount Kailash pilgrimage sacred to Buddhism, Hinduism and esotoric Christianity.t of a celestial alarm clock.WAKE UP CALL10 years of quiet desperation led to a turning point, that opportunity that comes to each of us at some pivotal stage in our life and offers us a time to re-assess our direction. The classic existential mid-life crisis that can lead to breakdown and breakthrough. For me it started in January 1986 with an alarmingly persistent wake-up call. Looking back I laugh at the idea of my spiritual guides working overtime to wake me up. The dream needed very little interpretation but I was so blind that I still could not read its message. I had this dream, off and on, for a whole year before its significance began to dawn on me. I really thought I was going mad during that period and of course, in conventional terms, I was. The turning upside down of consensus reality is frequently misunderstood as some psychotic episode whereas, within the bigger picture, it is simply spiritual emergence and the opening to knowledge of higher worlds. I slowly became aware of a spiritual reality behind the sense-perceptible world.SABBATICALAt the end of that year I realised that something profound was trying to happen and it gave me enough courage to claim a mid-career break. I was 39 and Ireland was in recession so my business partners needed little persuading, my wife and children needed none. She had spent her earlier years in an Ashram and couldn't wait to break away from the mindless social and business circles. The children had suffered a few years of the state curriculum and where likewise ready to experience something more liberating. So a gap suddenly appeared with this amazing potential for change and growth - I was off the treadmill for a year!THE JOURNEY OF AWAKENINGWe headed away in a camper van to ‘travel the world' and during that year, 1987, I stumbled onto the Camino de Santiago for the first time and felt its welcoming embrace. The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland was the next stop along the Way and it was there I realised that i

Dan Winter's background is as multi-faceted as his viewpoints.  Graduating with honors from the University of Detroit, Dan pursued graduate studies in psychophysiology and the origin of languages. In addition to his academic background, he has worked as a Systems Analyst with IBM, an industrial metallurgist and crystallographer. He has undertaken many diverse studies, from quantum physics to modeling at the MIT space lab to developing the early biofeedback prototype equipment. Widely traveled, Dan has sojourned to study at the Gurdjieff School of sacred gymnastics, in Florence with Buckminster Fuller, the Gizah pyramids, Israel, the Andes and at Findhorn.  Dan is an accomplished keyboard artist, and was once a church organist and choir director, all before reaching high school. He delights in playing computer keyboard music using sonic samples taken from biological events -- heart sounds, whale and dolphin songs, etc. His creative side emerges as playfulness with ideas which can be shared at different levels. The "Heart Beat Earth Project" for global coherence is a dream which Dan believes can "teach self awareness" using the internet as a tool. Through the use of a biofeedback devise connected to a home computer, the heartbeat at the moment of compassion registers a specific frequency signature that possesses very special properties. This frequency, or wave, can add and multiply itself infinitely and non-destructively, and can be experienced outside oneself. His experiments with humans sending love to trees have shown that the trees respond at a distance by entraining and aligning in phase to the heart, capacitively, at moments of peak emotion. This indeed tends to confirm that our choices to FEEL coherently may be our best leverage on fabricating ecoystems, perhaps ultimately surpassing the strength of bulldozers in shaping our world. As thousands of hearts are connected, a database records and displays heartbeats registering the signature for compassion (via the Internet). By focusing our collective intention through compassion around the planet, the evidence suggests many possibilities, such as atmospheric repair and stabilization. This concept demonstrates the collective power of how hearts entrained with the feeling of compassion can reshape our world, a truly empowering phenomenon and perhaps a turning point in our conscious evolution.  Among his many projects, Dan is developing a new breakthrough theory on gravity. He believes recursive nesting in field geometries is what creates the implosion "magnetic monopole" wind centering force we call gravity, and thus provides the clue on how to arrange magnetic long waves to repair gravity fabric and restore atmosphere retention. This also suggests how ONLY LOVE BENDS THE LIGHT, AND THERFORE ONLY LOVE CREATES. The fractal attractor of the heart's electricity accompanying the learned and teachable skill of choosing compassion, may indeed be the centering force which ultimately makes even star birth's self-referrent and therefore self-aware! Currently, Dan is a consultant on multimedia and virtual reality computer animation projects and travels and lectures around the world. He has produced over 50 videotapes on numerous subjects. My family has a ritual where we select an Angel card and a Rune for the year. The Angel cards we use originated from the game of transformation that started in the Findhorn foundation. These cards have one word, normally an action. Last year my word was Tenderness. This year it is “Play.” These words are a source of conversation and a reference point for how I will live the year. The conversation was triggered by the discovery of the podcast cast by Mark Watts featuring the work of his father, Alan. Alan Watts was a Radioman who spoke about Philosophy and Theology with a lovely voice and lots of wisdom.  The show I heard was an early live recording talking about the importance of surprise and wonder. So getting the Angel card “Play” really speaks to me and is so valuable when considering the journey that we are about to embark on the podcast.        The Five Questions eBook: https://lifepassionandbusiness.com/the-five-questions Focus Coaching: https://lifepassionandbusiness.com/focus-coaching/ Support The Podcast:https://www.buymeacoffee.com/lifeandpassion Midlife Survey: https://lifepassionandbusiness.com/midlife-challenge/

The path we tread is our choice.Paul Williamson shares his experiences based on his work as a past life therapist. He has been doing past life regression work professionally for over 33 years.BioReincarnation is a subject that has fascinated me from the time I first became familiar with it as a teenager.I was born in Australia and spent my years growing up in the country town of Bathurst in NSW and then my teenage years in the desert city of Broken Hill. From a young age, I was very interested in religion, and although I was brought up as a Church of England Christian, I could never quite feel at ease with that as my faith. Then, when I was 18, having moved to Sydney, I was listening to the radio one Sunday night when I heard a broadcast by the Theosophical Society. For the first time, I heard comprehensive accounts about the concepts of reincarnation, karma and the evolution of the soul, and at once this felt like ‘coming home' and was the beginning of a life-long dedication to this subject. From my teenage years, I was interested in alternative views of society, and as I moved into my 20s, I learnt meditation, started exploring self-development workshops and became fascinated by the New Age Spiritual community in Scotland called the Findhorn Foundation. In the north of NSW, there was an offshoot community connected to Findhorn, called ‘Homeland' and I became inspired by the ideals of people living from their hearts, attuning to the ‘God' within and building a world where this would be the norm. When I was 24, I left Australia to stay at Findhorn. I then travelled through Europe, but eventually returned to Findhorn to live at NewBold House. Here I learnt to lead personal development workshops and my interest in the mind and our souls increased. From my wish to go deeper into this, I trained in Hypnotherapy to learn past life regression and in 1988, I became a qualified Hypnotherapist. Having left NewBold House, I then set out to earn my living as a self-employed therapist, leading workshops and conducting individual therapy sessions with people. In the 1990s I trained with Dr Roger Woolger for 3 years, and became inspired by his teachings on Past Life Therapy. I also formed a healing group with Marjorie Wilson and learnt about Spiritual Channelling and Healing. From there, I wrote books, and until now, have had 8 of my books published. In recent times, I have studied the works of Dr Michael Newton and completed my training with the Newton Institute to become a qualified Life Between Lives Therapist. In recent years, I have been travelling internationally to a variety of locations, mainly between Australia and the UK. I have been attending Mind Body Spirit festivals giving talks and offering introductory experiences of Past Life regressions. In addition to these festivals, I have been offering soul based workshops for groups, and facilitating individual sessions. I am now in the process of setting up a working partnership called ‘Soul Pathways', with my colleague, Dee Gutierrez. Our aims are to provide widespread services to help people awaken to who they are as souls.Paul's work bases: My work is being done online, both as individual sessions and workshops for small groups. I am keen to maintain my contacts in Australia, the UK and beyond. So please contact me if you feel a need for my services.Paul's qualifications: I have been practicing past life regression professionally for 32 years. I am a qualified hypnotherapist and a member of the UKGHE. In the early 1990s, I completed a 3-year practitioner course in Past Life Therapy with Dr Roger Woolger. Also, during that decade, I qualified as a Healer member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. More recently, n 2012, I became a registered practitioner of Life Between Lives Therapy, with the Newton Institute. I am comprehensively insured for all the work that I do, and have international insurance.https://www.amazon.com/Past-Lives-Evolution-Paul-Williamson-ebook/dp/B0B1N3GQ9M/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1659704188&sr=1-1https://soulhypnotherapy.com/Emma WoodsThis week I'm talking to Emma Woods about her book 'Glimpses of Magonia: A Memoir of My Anomalous Experiences'.https://www.spreaker.com/user/15573647/alien-ufo-podcast-ep32-emma-woodsAn anomalous experiencer's life is complicated.Unnerving events, profoundly at odds with our current mainstream view of reality, periodically intrude into everyday life. This week I'm talking to Paul Williamson about his book 'Past Lives: The Evolution of the Soul'.The notion of past lives is intriguing. If we have lived other lives besides this one, are we able to remember them? What is it that lies in the depths of our consciousness? Is it safe to go there? Will I find memories from far distant times in history? Are past lives real? What will these ‘memories' tell me about my soul?Do I have the courage to explore and delve into these hidden unknown experiences that lure me?If I go there, I may discover things that change me, that give me a different, deeper outlook about my life. Am I prepared to do that? What about my fears? I do not want to find out something that I would not like. Should I listen to my fears? What if it is all stuff that I make up?To learn about our past lives is a spiritual journey of self-discovery. Do we step forward or go another way? It is up to us.
