However, the new Diamondbacks pitcher is a notorious slow starter who thrives in high leverage situations, especially in the playoffs. MLB and their owners have finally offered the players PRO-RATED salaries in a 60 game season starting July 19th. The only catch is they also want the players to agree that they will NOT file a grievance regarding the way the situation was handled -- both parties were supposed to do everything possible to play as many games as possible! 60 Games!?
