It's Australian Open week, and we're excited...but...we start by chatting about the BMW Australian PGA at Royal Queensland. Fantastic win by David Puig, and an exciting tournament to watch. Mark asks Nick how the LIV / DPWT arrangements work and how Puig will manage his schedule now. Both Nick and Mark raved about how Puig constructed his tournament.Without any notice for Nick to take cover, Mark comments that he loves the commentators, but he has an issue with how the coverage is put together, and he launches in with poor Nick completely unawares.Golf.com have released a new Top 100 list (see it here), and Nick and Mark discuss some of the placings and muse over where Royal Melbourne Composite would rank were it a rankable course. Nick gives Mark payback for his comments on the commentary by making an observation about Kingston Heaths drop on the list, and what the cause might be. Mark ducks for cover.Mark played Royal Adelaide last week and describes it as 'a national treasure', he tells Nick why he loves it so much. Nick is playing the Cathedral Invitational shortly and he has had no time to practise, he is worried.....but at the same time he's excited about the tournament given the course and the calibre of players. Mark says the Cathedral Invitational is good for golf, and a real plus, given the players, the cost, and the proximity the fans get to the players.We pay tribute to Fuzzy Zoeller who passed away last week, and we replay one of his most iconic moments. Peter is aan zijn swing aan het werken. Dat werkt uiteraard niet direct in de baan, maar dat heeft tijd nodig. Martijn en Rogier zijn ook de baan is geweest, met slechts 1 green in regulation won Martijn toch met 1 slag verschil. Want hij 'heeft shortgame'. Paul ging met Sietse van Podje Golf de baan in om alle geheimen van de NGF te weten te komen. Miguel Méndez, Analista independiente, analiza la evolución de algunos de los valores más seguidos por los inversores y comienza por Nvidia, que presenta resultados, hoy al cierre. El experto financiero se muestra positivo y afirma que “no es tan improbable que supere los máximos. Hay mucho miedo y creo que los resultados serán mejores de lo que el mercado espera, o sea, serán positivos. Con ello, deja claro que mantiene una visión optimista pese al ambiente de cautela que rodea al mercado. Sobre Puig, Méndez adopta un tono más pesimista. Señala que “es un sector que está sufriendo en España y en el resto del mundo. Si con un Ibex-35 en máximos tenemos a Puig en 14 euros, ¿cómo estará cuando tenga una corrección? No le veo ningún atisbo de subida”. Considera que el comportamiento del sector del lujo y la belleza sigue presionado a escala global. Al analizar IAG y Enagás, amplía su visión sobre la situación del Ibex-35 y advierte: “Si no hemos comprado Ibex ya… yo no lo compraría a estos niveles”. Para Méndez, el índice muestra signos de agotamiento y entrar ahora supone asumir un riesgo elevado.

Se asoma al programa Gabriela Paoli, psicóloga y autora del libro 'Salud Digital'. Xavi Puig se asoma a La Ventana para hablar de su nuevo libro 'Hacer Reír'. Unos meses antes de su muerte, en febrero de 1975, Franco cerró la Universidad de Valladolid. Una decisión sin precedentes que mandó a casa a los ocho mil alumnos con los que entonces contaba la Universidad. Se trata de algo no muy conocido que enseguida despertó en la ciudad una contestación con la que no contaba el régimen. Hablamos con Javier Cuevas, director de contenidos de la SER en Castilla y León.

When it comes to innovation in the beauty industry, few wield more power and influence than Guive Balooch, L'Oréal Group's longtime tech leader.  “In the last three or four years, [we've seen] this incredible shift in the speed of innovation,” Balooch told Glossy. “It feels great to work on things that are shaping the future of our industry.”  Since Balooch last joined the Glossy Beauty Podcast in 2021, his team has released a light-powered blowdryer called the AirLight Pro; an in-store skin diagnostic device called Cell BioPrint; Water Saver, an in-salon water reduction tool; a home hair-color application tool called Color Sonic; and many more innovations.
