His latest track, 'Gov Kya Malaal Yaaras,' released just days ago, has already set the online world abuzz, earning widespread acclaim from audiences around the globe. This enchanting song not only celebrates the rich culture and heritage of Kashmir but also pays homage to its language and literature and underscores the values of unity and diversity. Ayaan Sajad (12) first captured the hearts of netizens last year when his soulful Kashmiri song went viral, amassing millions of views and still trending in the valley. Hailing from the Anantnag district in south Kashmir, Ayaan aspires to be a global ambassador for Kashmir and a source of inspiration for the younger generation worldwide. Shortly after his new song made waves on the internet, several Bollywood stars, including Saumya Tandon, an actress and television presenter known for her role as Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the Hindi sitcom television series "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain," reacted to his song. She described the song as “beautiful and encouraged him to keep shining.” Similarly, Jubin Nautiyal, an Indian playback singer, commented on his song with a "shabash." Junaid Ahmad, 23, who is a self-taught musician hailing from the Habba Kadal area of Downtown Srinagar. He believes in spreading the message of love through his cantabile music and melodies. Junaid discovered his inclination towards music from an early age and started following something he was born to. He is fully supported by his family in pursuing his innate musical obsession. He learnt the intricacies of musical pieces by repeating the pattern multiple times until he has mastered it. He chose a genre that suits him the most and started singing and composing in the same. Braving all hardships of struggling days Junaid never lost hope and kept his belief firm. The wait ended when this raw talent was discovered by the leading Director of Bollywood Mr. Onir. “I remember the day, I was on stage (performing), he (Onir) came and enjoyed it and the best part was I performed the song( Tere Bin) from movie (Bas Ek Pal). I didn't know the song was from his movie. I came to know about it later. When he asked about my future plans, I described my craze and passion for playback singing”. Recalls Junaid. Destiny played its role and one fine morning Junaid got a call from Mr. Onir. “I got a call, it was Onir on the other side who said, Junaid be ready I have lined up something big for you and talked to music maestro Pritam about your talent who has agreed to record a dummy with you. It was a dream come moment for me,” adds Junaid. Junaid is now making his debut as a playback singer for the movie “Pine Cone' which is scheduled to hit the screens in 2023. The debut song is composed by Junaid himself. Talking about his other works Junaid has a duet with Bollywood singer Shivangi Bhayana which is composed by Mohit Dogra. The song titled ‘Baat' will be released soon. Kashmiri song ‘ Zindagi' written by Peer Zahoor was also composed by Junaid which has been selected for screening during Jammu and Kashmir International Film Festival to be organized at Pune. When asked about his future projects Junaid prefixed the answer with his signature smile and replied” Something big is on the cards Inshallah

Meet Sayer Abdullah, a specially-abled off-roading enthusiast from Kashmir. Read his story Sayer Abdullah lost his arm in an accident but is in full control of the steering wheel while driving through the toughest terrains of the mountainous valley. Sayer Abdullah, a 23-year-old law student from South Kashmir, is the talk of the town in his 'off road' circles in the valley nowadays. Sayer lost his arm in an accident but is in full control of the steering wheel while driving through the toughest terrains of the mountainous valley. In 2007, Sayer met with an accident but the tragedy couldn't stop him from pursuing his passion towards driving. He practiced hard, met with difficulties but didn't give up. Soon after he turned 18, he applied for a driving test and passed it. His spirit was far bigger than the physical challenge that life had thrown at him. Today, he participates in off-road events and zooms his 4X4 vehicle through mountain peaks and treacherous terrains.

Vijdan Saleem, best known as RJ Vijdan is a well-known radio jockey and digital creator at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. He was born in Quil Maqaam village in North Kashmir's Bandipora district. Vijdan completed his schooling at Tyndale Biscoe School. He later attended Fergusson College and earned his bachelor's degree in Arts with political science in 2013. Faaiz dijoo, born and brought up in downtown Srinagar, J&K is a prominent Social Activist and the Founder and Chairman for Sunrise in Kashmir, a leading Non Profit Organisation based in the Union Territory of J&K. Faaiz has been a front runner in several Social Campaigns like Drug De-addiction, Education, Skill Development, Sports Promotion, Youth Engagement and Uplifting of children from Remote areas. He has been working closely with several domestic, national and international organisations and has earned a name and fame in all these years. Faaiz finished nhis studies in Nee Delhi and Kickstarted his career in the Capital. With a vast and rich experience in the Corporate World, he has also gained experience in Public Relations. Safina Nabi is a full-time, independent multimedia journalist from South Asia based in Kashmir. She writes about gender, health, human rights, social justice, development, and the environment. Sajad Inqilabi, 58, a resident of village Takiya Behram Shah of Anantnag district, has written seven books and is working on eighth one. When the financial situation at home urged him to discontinue his studies he didn't give up his passion for poetry. Inqilabi, who is a carpenter by profession and would sweat in physical labour through out the day, it was not easy for him to keep the poet inside him alive.

Zahid Manzoor Bhat, a resident of Gutroo village in Aripal Tehsil of Tral, said that listening to Sufi saints since his childhood inspired him to pen down hundreds of poems, most of them in Kashmiri. “Sufi poets like Rajab Hamid, Rasool Mir, Shamas Fakeer, Rahim Sopore inspired me since my childhood.Once a Teacher Namely Abdul Rashid saw some couplets on my notebook While checking when i was in class 8th then he said you will become a poet”. And by listening and reading the writings of sufi poets, I have written over 500 poems. Most of my poems are Naat and Hamud,” Bhat said. After a lot of struggle Bhat turned his poetry collection into a book which he wasn't able to do due to financial issues. “My father died when I was just 3 years old and we got some help from a Yateem trust and after completing my Bachelors, I started to work as a private school teacher where I am getting meager salary to take care of my family which comprises of the mother, grandmother and the younger brother,” he said. “I wanted to publish my book but I am hardly fulfilling the needs of the family, but now some friends helped to publish the first book, titled “Hayaatuk-Aab ”. Bhat said most of his work is yet to be published while besides promoting Sufism, the main motive behind writing the poems in Kashmiri is to promote the mother tongue. “In my poems, I have touched social issues as well. We are losing our culture which is our identity and are only propagating western culture,” he said. “Our valley is full of talent, but the financial issues and lack of platform are becoming an obstacle for thousands of youth to get their dreams fulfilled,” he said.

His recent All India Ride was to promote tourism in our valley and to invite people from all over India to explore the unique and unexplored destinations of Kashmir.
