Trivikram described the movie in a single line: laksha rupayala lottery ticketni kooda kastapadi sampadinchina okka rupayithone konali' Movie title is Julayi and hero is jobless but I had so many questions… What are his qualifications. Ok he is middle class but what did he study etc How is so intelligent yet he's jobless. A person who has so much knowledge they dont even show how such a person is struggling in society. Instead he is chitti and satellite combined, he somehow knows everything before it happens which is ridiculous. And apparently if you solve Rubik's cube in 5 minutes you are Einstein I guess He meets Bittu like once yet somehow he knows every move within one meeting. Here hero just happens to know everything because Bittu tipped the police off and doesnt trust Ravi because he's worried he might tell them. But he's always doing the polices job for them. Mari erollu laa choopistharu. I just didnt know how he knows everything. When I first saw the movie, opening scene was pure Dark Knight. If I ever meet Trivikram, I'll ask him how many times we saw the movie. During pandemic time because people had nothing better to do, Trivikramization became a thing and its one thing to copy but to blatantly copy form such an iconic film that everyone has seen is another thing. Reduces the impact. And it lacks the intensity to which Nolan pulled it off anyway. Also no bank would 15000 crores just like that all cash and then somehow Shafi has enough time to throw trash on top it that nobody would care to notice. Climax is copied from Italian job changing containers. Also interval scene is so illogical. That's not possible at all and a single airbag doesnt go out that entire time. Literally if you rear end someone the airbag goes off he hits about 2-3 cars and then drives through a building from such a height, no airbags, no injuries, nothing. Takes gun and shoots him. set up and payoffs is in He says eppudu choosing eppudu Radio Mirchi yenti raa babu, naa istham nenu adhe vintanu raa. Climax he uses his friend Pradeep MAchiraju to create a diversion to rescue the container. Dad says what if we try to earn money easily, I make 1 lakh, 120 days salary, will you do it in 120 minutes? Basically point of the movie is dont try to earn easy money, sanka naaki pothav. As with most Trivikram movies, where movie starts it ends. At a bus stop it tells the Bhairakona story Last scene of movie radio concludes the story The only comedy that I enjoyed was 3 scenes: Brahmanandham playing with the hospital thing pressing buttons, everyone getting slapped by Ileana, and then Brahmi explaining the kidnap story of the kid and how he went to jail. When a director like Trivikram is making a movie, you expected great writing, dialogues, comedy, and entertainment. And to be frank in Julayi you have none of those. Direction by Trivikram is average. It lacks his trademark strong writing and effectiveness. While there are some set ups and payoffs, it results in a timepass movie at best. Nothing great about it.

A picture speaks a thousand words. Indeed. But it is what you hear orally that stays with you for time immemorial. Even before video or the written word was a thing, we have evolved for millennia as oral cultures. And yet, when you look at it from a business point of view (myopic as that may sound, but hey we're a business podcast) audio has always been and continues to be a poor cousin to video, and we daresay even to the written word. We've heard of movie czars and newspaper czars, but have you ever heard of a radio czar? Have you ever heard of an equivalent of Reed Hastings or Netflix for audio? Heck, even the world's richest man, Jeff Bezos put his bets on video with Amazon Prime and publishing the written word. And for all the hype that the iPod got when Steve Jobs first introduced it, it's seen as a bit of a quaint anachronism now and Apple is known more for its phone and computing devices. And to top it all, we haven't seen a single audio unicorn anywhere in the world. This is the norm that's being stormed by our hosts Anisha Motwani and Narayan Devanathan in Episode 25 of Storm the Norm podcast series powered by #GTBharat. Talking about the medium, its popularity and shifts in way of consumption, the hosts are joined by Prashant Panday, CEO & MD, Radio Mirchi. Vicky Bahl, Partner and Leader, Sales Transformation, sharing GT Insights talks about how despite technological disruption the audio medium has evolved over the years and it is important for businesses to participate in the industry that's snowballing and will continue to stay relevant. Hey don't forget to listen to 5 power packed audio-monetization hacks by our hosts to secure the future of the industry.
