Als aussichtsreicher Nachfolger galt zuletzt der bisherige Deutschlandchef Srini Gopalan, der jedoch nun als Chief Operating Officer zunächst das operative Geschäft der US-Tochter T-Mobile führen soll. Das US-Geschäft ist für die Telekom zentral, dennoch sind Gopalans Aussichten auf eine Nachfolge durch den neuen Posten nicht unbedingt gestiegen, erklärt Rohde: Sollte Höttges seinen Vertrag bis Ende 2028 erfüllen, wäre Gopalan dann auch schon 59 Jahre alt. In den USA steht die Telekom vor Herausforderungen wie dem Glasfaserausbau, in dem großen Land ein finanzieller Kraftakt. "Kính thưa đại chúng! Sau khi vị pháp thiêu thân, Hòa thượng Thích Quảng Đức để lại một trái tim bất diệt. Trái tim của Ngài cũng bằng máu và thịt như trái tim của bao người, nhưng dù cho đem thiêu ở hơn 4.000 độ C cũng không thể cháy, trong khi xương thịt đã giã ra hết. Bởi trái tim ấy chính là kết tinh tâm nguyện - trí chứng - định lực của Ngài nên nó trở thành kim cương bất hoại. Trái tim của Ngài chính là xá lợi, chỉ có duy nhất trong Phật giáo mới có hiện tượng này. Trái tim của Ngài minh chứng rằng, Phật Pháp thật sự linh ứng, cao siêu và màu nhiệm, đủ để cho muôn đời nhân thế tin được Phật Pháp là chân thật, không hư dối. Trước đây, nhiều người không hiểu được sự màu nhiệm của Phật Pháp nên nói Phật Pháp mê tín, nhưng Phật Pháp hoàn toàn không mê tín. Phật Pháp là chân lý - chân lý nhưng rất màu nhiệm. Chúng ta có thể thấy, dù con người chế tạo được người máy, có thể làm mô hình chiếc lá, con sâu,... nhưng chưa thể như thật, thế nhưng pháp giới làm ra được; cho nên, bản chất của vũ trụ pháp giới là màu nhiệm. Chúng ta không thể coi sự màu nhiệm là mê tín, không thể đánh đồng tâm linh là mê tín. Phật Pháp là tâm linh, trái tim của Hòa thượng Thích Quảng Đức minh chứng cho sự tâm linh màu nhiệm của Phật Pháp. Cho nên, trái tim của Bồ tát Thích Quảng Đức trở thành báu vật của Phật giáo Việt Nam, báu vật của Quốc gia, của đất nước Việt Nam. Thầy tin rằng, nếu chúng ta cung kính, đảnh lễ trái tim của Ngài, chắc chắn chúng ta được rất nhiều phước báu. Và khi đất nước chúng ta khó khăn hay lâm nguy, chúng ta hướng về trái tim của Ngài đảnh lễ, cúng dường và cầu nguyện, Thầy tin sẽ có sự linh ứng màu nhiệm. Vì điều này tương hợp với nguyện của Ngài trước khi phát nguyện thiêu thân, đó là nguyện làm sao cho đất nước được thanh bình, nhân dân được an lạc. Ví như hiện nay đất nước ta đang có dịch bệnh C.O.V.I.D-19, nếu chúng ta biết hướng về trái tim của Ngài mà đảnh lễ, cúng dường cầu nguyện, Thầy tin rằng lời nguyện của Ngài sẽ cảm ứng và có tác dụng." Dabei wird deutlich, dass in unserem Gottesbild nur Teilaspekte vorhanden sein können oder wir sogar falsche Gottesbilder haben können. Es ist wichtig, das wahre Gottesbild zu haben. Hierzu schauen sie anhand der Bibel, wie Gott selber gesehen werden möchte. Sie erklären, dass Gott sich selbst als "Jahwe" vorstellt, was bedeutet, dass er barmherzig und gnädig ist. Sie betonen, dass Gott von Herzen mitfühlend ist und immer aktiv handelt. Sei gespannt auf eine Predigt, die dich ermutigt dein eigenes Bild von Gott zu überdenken und falschen Vorstellungen abzulegen.

Tim Höttges steht seit dem Jahr 2014 an der Spitze der Deutschen Telekom. Der Konzern ist inzwischen ungefähr 100 Milliarden Euro wert an der Börse - und liegt damit beinahe an der Spitze der Dax-Werte. Zugleich steht das Unternehmen unter Veränderungsdruck, nicht zuletzt wegen des Fortschritts in der Künstlichen Intelligenz. Höttges erklärt in dieser Episode, wie er ChatGPT nutzt, was KI für die Telekom konkret bedeutet und wie er sich mit dem Thema beschäftigt. Er spricht aber auch Klartext zu anderen Themen, die weit über die Telekom hinausgehen: Über die schleppende Digitalisierung unseres Landes (er gibt die Note 5). Darüber, wie gefährlich Bauteile von Huawei seiner Ansicht nach wirklich sind – und warum Google & Co. Milliarden für die Netze zahlen sollen. "Vielleicht ist die Note 5 harsch", sagt er. Aber er, Höttges, sei "immer jemand, der eher polarisiert, um Aufwach-Rufe zu starten. Um zu sagen, wir müssen etwas tun, statt zu sagen: Wir sind Durchschnitt, ist alles in Ordnung. Wir müssen als Industrienation, als viertgrößte Wirtschaftsnation der Welt in der Digitalisierung Spitze sein." Und zur Diskussion um Huawei beklagt er: "Uns hat die Forderung des Innenministeriums sehr überrascht. Es gab keine Diskussion mit den Telekommunikationsunternehmen im Vorfeld. Die Politik muss entscheiden, was sie als sicherheitsrelevant und an politischen Themen für geboten erachten. Sie sollte das vor dem Hintergrund des Machbaren tun. Wir stehen für diese Diskussion natürlich bereit. Die Deutsche Telekom als das größte und für den technischen Ausbau in Deutschland wichtigste Unternehmen wird sich immer an die Rahmenbedingungen halten, die von der Politik vorgegeben werden. Ob ich das als sinnvoll oder nicht sinnvoll erachte, ist dann müßig, weil das eine politische Frage ist und keine unternehmerische."

Joel Vögeli und Tim Hürlimann sprechen über das Thema „Ist Menschenfischen out?“ Jesu hat am Anfang seines Wirkens seine Jünger berufen. Ihnen zeigte er, wie sie Menschenfischer werden können. Genauso möchte er, dass wir Menschenfischer sind. Niemand möchte aber an einer Angel oder in einem Netz hängen. Das Ziel des Fischens ist ja, dass der Fisch nachher tot in der Pfanne liegt. Jesus aber bringt das Leben. Wie passt das zusammen? Das Wort, das Jesus in der Bibel fürs Fischen braucht, bedeutet: auf hoher See zu sein und Menschen ins Boot, das rettet, reinzubringen. Wir können Menschen erreichen, wo immer wir hingehen, in unseren Berufen, in der Schule, an der Uni. Jesus nimmt Petrus und die anderen Jünger mit und zeigt ihnen vor und lehrt sie, wie er wirkt, betet, wie er mit Menschen und ihren Nöten umgeht und was er tut. Genauso dürfen wir von Jesus lernen und handeln.

The system of paying cash bail is so familiar to us in this country that it's faded into the background of our awareness. In fact, the practice of assigning cash bail as a condition of an individual's pretrial release has led to a two-tiered system of justice. People with money can return to their communities while they await trial, while those without money are forced to choose between remaining incarcerated—and facing the harms that accompany pretrial detention—and entering into a predatory contract with a commercial bail company to obtain release.
