Turmoil has engulfed Sorry Meadows. The wi-fi of Sammy to outlying hosts is in dispute. Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade of deadly broadband, the greedy Jack, Rhys and Mike have stopped all contact to the small town of Portsmouth. While we endlessly debate this alarming chain of events, Melanie has secretly dispatched a Zoom chat room, where the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, can settle their conflict... Are the Prequels good or bad?

With No Way Home releasing today(!!!), Mike, Sammy and Rhys decide to look back on all the Spider-Man films we've had in the past and rank them using a preference revealer, which, fully on brand, leads to excessive arguing. Rest assured, there are no spoilers for No Way Home in this episode, however, what we do have, is countless technical errors which lead to most of the audio being misaligned for the first 10 minutes or so, but after that it should be fine. Uh oh, we're mixing Marvel with DC! Edited by Melanie Löw

Once upon a Sorry Meadows, while I pondered on It Follows, Thinking over many a quaint and bloody scary movie— While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a clapping, As of some witch gently clapping, clapping at my wardrobe door. “'Tis some witch,” I muttered, “clapping at my wardrobe door— Only this and nothing more.” Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak October; And each Sorry Meadows member sat in fear upon the floor. Eagerly I wished the morrow;—to watch The Conjuring, The Descent, Hereditary and It Follows From my DVD bookcase of horror— horror for the lost Jack Tanner— For the rare and radiant Melanie, and the one the angels name Jack Tanner— Suffering here for your amusement. Edited by Mike Thorp

It's just Rhys and Mike again this week as we attempt a combined ranking of the 3 biggest sci-fi action franchises that feature the most iconic monster-villains of all time. There have been 18 films that feature an Alien or Predator or Terminator, all staples of 70s and 80s science-fiction. And yet, most of them are pretty rubbish and in this episode, we start by scraping the bottom of bottom barrels and look at the lowest-ranked of the franchises. God these films SUCK! Theme by Spike Capper. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
SPOILER WARNING: Do not listen to this if you haven't seen Black Sails! Join Melanie and Jack as they embark on a journey to Nassau and discuss Black Sails! (yay Pirates) Thank you to Spike Capper for writing our theme song! Edited by Melanie Löw

Hey y'all, you know what's cool? Time loop films. There are loads and loads and loads of them, and they keep repeating and repeating the concept time and time again. In this episode Rhys, Mike and Mel look at 4 films from this (genre, is it a genre?) starting with the Grand-daddy Groundhog Day (1993) and then moving on to 3 examples of how the concept was utilized in unique ways, including Happy Death Day (2017), Edge of Tomorrow (2014) and Palm Springs (2020). Rhys is joined by Mike as we journey back in time through the history of Disney Animated films. Disney is obviously a household name in the 21stcentury. Holding a near Monopoly over the entertainment industry, it's hard to watch a new release in cinema that isn't owned or produced by the Big Mouse. Intrigued by how they became this successful, I decided to watch all 58 animated films, a genre which Disney is most well-known for. Having noticed Mike had started making his way through the films, I couldn't miss this opportunity to ask him about these films. We begin this watch-through at the very beginning, dubbed Disney's Golden Age! This includes Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), Dumbo (1941) and Bambi (1942). Theme by Spike Capper. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
Now that we've got Justice League out of the way, we're going to lose all sense of focus, consistency or continuity so we can make what we want, whether people ask for it or not. Which in a strange coincidence also happens in the DCEU! This episode we look at the 4 remaining DCEU releases, Aquaman (2018), Shazam! (2019), Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). Theme music by Spike Capper. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
Mike, Sammy and Rhys continue their journey through the DCEU by discussing two films that, despite containing the same plot, structure, actors and characters, couldn't be anymore different. We'll start with the film that was made second but that came out first, Justice League (2017) before delving into the mammoth film that is Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Sit back, we enjoyed this one... Theme by Spike Capper. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
We begin our discussion of a universe which since day one has been met with tonal inconsistency, studio meddling, behind the scenes drama, Jared Leto, fan campaigns on Twitter and has come up against the full force of Rotten Tomatoes. In this episode, we'll be covering the first "phase" of the DCEU, including the films Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016) and Wonder Woman (2017). Theme music by Spike Capper. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
Today we adventure into Sammy's mind, taking a look at his history with films and TV as we continue our series of one-to-one interviews. Join us as we discover the passions for floating castles, Tim Allen's Santa Claus and Gravity Falls, and explore a rather personal connection to the Hundred Acre Wood... Thank you to Spike Capper for our amazing theme music. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
Host Rhys has picked 4 films from the fantasy genre that he loved growing up, including The Neverending Story (1984), Howl's Moving Castle (2004), The Dark Crystal (1982) and Stardust (2007). Did Mike and Sammy enjoy this selection, or did they see through the long-hidden advert for Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance? Credit to Spike Capper for our THEME SONG. Edited by Rhys Lloyd.
Today we are doing a personal delve into one of our hosts, Rhys. In today's episode, we take a look at Mike's favourite films, including superheroes, Star Wars, Scooby-Doo and a very strange encounter with Tommy Wiseau.
Was Melanie pushed out a window by her husband? Did Rhys get an arrow lodged in his throat? Was Sammy a sleazy Tory backbencher who's cursed to spend eternity with no trousers on? No, but BBC's Ghosts is full of such amazing characters and it's this brilliant TV show we'll be talking about this week! Thanks to Spike Capper for our amazing THEME song! Edited by Rhys Lloyd.

We would also like to thank and credit Spike Capper for composing our very own THEME SONG which is very cool! Thank you Spike! Edited by Melanie Löw
