Aveen talks with Kerry Wickman. Kerry shares, "I often say that I have been feeding either the body or the soul most of my career. I was a personal chef and caterer for about 25 years. Then I shifted careers and became a hospice social worker. I now practice therapy at an addiction and trauma treatment center. My interest in death and dying (which I have studied for over 30 years) came from the death of my high school boyfriend to Leukemia and then his mom 2.5 years later to MS, though her death always felt more attributed to a broken heart. My brother's death 12 years ago was the impetus for finally going back to school to get my Masters so I could work with the terminally ill. I've been studying NDE's for 30 years to get some sense of where my loved ones are. It has given me the most tremendous sense of peace and calm about death, and even sometimes feelings of, shall we say, "envy" towards those who have had the privilege of passing on. The work I do in addiction and trauma with my clients is highly influenced by spirituality, seeking beauty and grace as we navigate the complexity and chaos of living this Earth-life amidst such suffering and pain."

Aveen speaks with Kristen Ragusin, author of "The End of Scarcity: The Dawn of the new abundant world." The book is out now and you can find it anywhere you purchase books.Long form:Kristen's interest in money began as a child as she studied the stock and bond markets with her father to earn her allowance. Through a shocking revelation she learned that what we use as money today works against us, creating perpetual suffering and scarcity. This sent her on a seven year journey around the world to find another way to create money. She uncovered a new way so simple and so beautiful, a new way already beginning to emerge. Preparing to unleash the natural abundance that exists, we stand on the precipice of the coming revolution of how we do money. Unstoppable, it comes closer every day. Aveen talks with Allison Davies about the importance of music for feeling safe, using musical mantra to enhance our lives and the importance of recognizing and nurturing neurodivergent beings. I loved speaking with Allison! A little about Allison: Allison Davies creates online resources for parents, educators and support staff and works with schools to deliver professional development around the topics of childhood brain development and the use of music as a regulatory tool. She is an independent liberatory scholar currently exploring the gatekeeping and classism of the social construct ‘musical vs non musical'. A former Registered Music Therapist of 16 years, Alli left the Allied Health industry in 2021 in order to align her work more deeply with culturally responsive practices and to switch her focus from individual change to socio cultural change. Alli is an autistic person with attention, sensory processing and executive functioning difficulties. She works within a neurodiversity framework that favours deep acceptance and regulation over assimilation and intervention, and shares her lived experience of autism openly within her seminars, workshops and conferences as part of her ‘emotive storytelling mixed with science' approach to education. https://www.allisondavies.com.au https://www.facebook.com/allisondavies.com.au/ https://www.youtube.com/c/AllisonDaviesMusicandTheBrain/featured
