But soon after, players began complaining and review bombing once they discovered that large parts of the stealth game were locked behind online DRM checks. This rubbed many the wrong way because GOG makes a big deal about being DRM-free.GOG.com is an online storefront that first started out as a place for devs and publishers to sell older PC games, but now sells newer and modern games too. It also boasts that it doesn't support or use any forms of DRM (digital rights management). Und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier, oder eher Agent 47. Hitman 2 ist nicht dafür gemacht es einmal zu spielen, sondern mehrere Male. Beim ersten Mal spielen hat man noch begrenze Möglichkeiten, aber schließt man die zahlreichen Herausforderungen ab oder deckt die verteilten Story Missionen auf, so steigt das Level der jeweiligen Mission und man schaltet für den nächsten Anlauf neue Ausrüstung frei, Kostüme oder Einstiegspunkte. Ist schon witzig anzusehen wie wir auf einer Rennstrecke als Maskottchen rumlaufen. Diese Vielfalt an Möglichkeiten zeichnet Hitman 2 aus und der Fokus liegt natürlich bei Stealth. Wir haben zwar auch große Kaliber zur Auswahl, aber in direkten Feuergefechten haben wir die Unterhand wegen der schieren Überzahl an NPCs, außer man nutzt die recht dumme KI manchmal aus und lockt die NPCs nach und nach an die gleiche Stelle und schaltet sie aus. Bis auf die KI ist das Gameplay also top, nicht top sind die Sequenzen zwischen den Missionen: Standbilder. Das bisschen Story was uns erzählt wird durch steife und langweilige Standbilder rübergebracht, schade eigentlich, denn die Briefings zu den Missionen sind wiederum animiert und gut gemacht. Abschließend kann ich aber sagen, dass mir Hitman 2 viel Spaß bereitet hat. Aber wer weiß, vielleicht schreibt das hier gerade auch Agent 47
