Slade AniList https://anilist.co/user/SladePlaysGames Sky AniList https://anilist.co/user/SkylarBun/ Jaka AniList https://anilist.co/user/UKJaka/In the bustling metropolis of Alderia, where skyscrapers touched the sky and shadows danced on every street, three unlikely heroes—Slade, Jaka, and Sky—were about to stumble upon their extraordinary destiny.Slade, a brooding figure with a past shrouded in mystery, worked as a mere office clerk by day. Jaka, a brilliant hacker with a knack for blending into the shadows, was known for his quick wit and unparalleled coding skills. Sky, a gifted street artist whose murals spoke of dreams and rebellion, hid her true talents behind vibrant colors and intricate designs.Their lives intersected one fateful night in the grimy back alleys of Alderia. An unusual power outage had plunged the city into chaos, and as they were drawn together by chance, they discovered a secret hidden beneath the city's surface: an ancient, cryptic manuscript that hinted at the existence of a shadowy organization known only as “The Eminence in Shadow.”Curiosity and fate led them to uncover an underground world of power struggles and secret societies, where the line between reality and myth blurred. The manuscript spoke of a force capable of manipulating shadows and bending them to one's will—an ability sought by many but mastered by few.Slade, Jaka, and Sky were no ordinary individuals. Slade's brooding nature masked a latent strength and resilience. Jaka's skill with technology gave him an edge in deciphering the manuscript's complex codes. Sky's artistry was more than a hobby; it was a means of channeling her latent creative power. The trio embarked on a perilous journey through hidden chambers and forgotten tunnels beneath Alderia. Along the way, they faced numerous trials that tested their wits, strength, and resolve. Each challenge drew them closer to understanding the true nature of The Eminence in Shadow. One night, as they deciphered the final part of the manuscript, they encountered an enigmatic figure—the current leader of The Eminence in Shadow, a figure who reveled in their fear and despair. In a climactic confrontation, the leader attempted to harness the city's chaos, intending to reshape it under his tyrannical rule. But Slade's strength, Jaka's technological prowess, and Sky's artistic intuition combined to form an unparalleled synergy. Slade's combat skills clashed with the leader's shadowy forces, Jaka's hacking disrupted the leader's control over the city's infrastructure, and Sky's art breathed life into the shadows, transforming them into allies rather than enemies.Together, they fought through the darkness, each using their unique talents to their advantage. In a final, breathtaking showdown, the leader was defeated, and the manuscript's true power was unlocked: the ability to become the shadows themselves, transcending physical form. With the defeat of the leader, the city began to heal. Slade, Jaka, and Sky emerged not as mere mortals, but as the new leaders of The Eminence in Shadow. They chose not to rule with fear, but to protect Alderia from the shadows, using their newfound abilities to safeguard the city's future.Their legend spread throughout the city, whispered among the alleys and painted in murals. Slade became known as the silent guardian, Jaka the master of shadows, and Sky the artist of dreams. Together, they were the true Eminence in Shadow, guiding their world from the shadows they once feared. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It's time to talk about our new and bubbly spider-friend, Dewpider! We also take an extended dive into the Anime Corner as we cover Dewpider's debut episode, Dewpider Ascending which we highly recommend checking out. Follow along with the entries below: Sun: It crawls onto the land in search of food. Its water bubble allows it to breathe and protects its soft head. Moon: When it comes across enemies or potential prey, this Pokémon smashes its water-bubble-covered head into them. Ultra Sun: When two Dewpider meet, they display their water bubbles to each other. Then the one with the smaller bubble gets out of the other's way. Ultra Moon: It can only breathe oxygen that has dissolved in water, so it wears a water bubble on its head when it walks around on land. Sword: It forms a water bubble at the rear of its body and then covers its head with it. Meeting another Dewpider means comparing water-bubble sizes. Shield: Dewpider normally lives underwater. When it comes onto land in search of food, it takes water with it in the form of a bubble on its head. BTB: It's little spider-baby with a squishy head. It prefers to eat food on land even though it can't breathe up there without a water helmet. We're kicking off the new year (again?) with Fennekin's final form, Delphox! Plus, we actually reveal our 2022 Pokemon of the Year which I guess is a tradition now! Don't forget a troubling visit to the Anime Corner as well! Follow along with Delphox's entries below: X: It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. Y: Using psychic power, it generates a fiery vortex of 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit, incinerating foes swept into this whirl of flame. BTB: This prognosticating pyromancer can see the future and will remove you from it easily if it so chooses. We're on to bigger and better vines this episode as we discuss Tangela's evolved form, Tangrowth! More vines, more growing and less mystery! We also reminisce about Tang and take a quick dip into the Anime Corner to be reminded that Team Rocket is indeed still the best part of that show. Follow along with the entries below: Diamond & Pearl: It ensnares prey by extending arms made of vines. Losing arms to predators does not trouble it. Platinum: Its arms are made of plants that bind themselves to things. They grow back right away if cut. HeartGold: When it remains still, it appears to be a large shrub. Unsuspecting prey that wander near get ensnared by its vines. SoulSilver: Its vines grow so profusely that, in the warm season, you can't even see its eyes. Black & White 2: Even if one of its arms is eaten, it's fine. The Pokémon regenerates quickly and will go right back to normal. Sword: Tangrowth has two arms that it can extend as it pleases. Recent research has shown that these arms are, in fact, bundles of vines. Shield: Vine growth is accelerated for Tangrowth living in warm climates. If the vines grow long, Tangrowth shortens them by tearing parts of them off. Legends: Arceus: Draped with long vines, it resembles a shrub in appearance. It swings bundles of vines as though they were arms, wrapping them around prey to ensnare them. Photodex: Tangrowth uses its vine arms to nimbly pluck fruit that's just out of reach. It can also extend its arms even farther to carry itself across long distances. BTB: It's got neverending strechy arm vine snacks. A formidable predator and prey Pokemon. No one's worried about what's in there anymore.
