They touch on CM Punk's injury, Tony Khan, Malakai Black, Trios Titles, Grand Slam and more. Kevin has some internet issues, so Matt has to go it alone for a few minutes, putting over the latest Inside the Ropes Magazine and the Almanac that cover 1989-1990. Upon Kevin's return the boys put a bow on the AEW talk, and briefly touch on the NWA before being joined by our guest. Landon Hale joins us to talk about being trained by Robert Gibson, going from Kentucky to Massachusetts, being a Chiropractor, his first match, Chaotic Wrestling and much more. It's a fun conversation and a great introduction to Landon if you aren't familiar with him. He is scheduled to defend against Kate the Great, but as you know, things change, you're gonna have to hear this to believe it. After the Can You Beat That Challenge, we hit on a few things, Tony's hate for AEW, Extreme Rules, Impact, & the Great Muta's retirement tour. Hey everybody! For this episode I’m talking to one half of Higher Society, Paris Van Dale! Here we catch up since her last time on the podcast and talk about being on Limitless Wrestling’s “The Road” and Chaotic Wrestling’s “Reloaded”. Of course things get off topic and the random questions in this one are more than memorable. Paris is one of New England’s best up and comers and despite only being in the business for a short time she has the ring presence and charisma of someone who has been doing this for a while. I can’t wait to see where wrestling takes her in the future. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aloneinthebasement/message
Hey everybody! For this episode Armani Kayos is back on the podcast for his first solo interview. Here we talk mostly about his involvement in Limitless Wrestling’s The Road and cover his appearances in seasons 1 and 2. We also talk about being recently featured in Chaotic Wrestling’s Reloaded. There’s also plenty of random side bar stuff all along the way. Armani is someone who is so incredible talented and has the ring presence of someone who has spent double or triple amount of the time he has in wrestling. Whether it’s singles or tag wrestling he is truly something special and it won’t be long until everyone knows him. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aloneinthebasement/message

We continue the D.L. trend this week with Mr. Hurst, who called in to the podcast on a twelve year old potato. The sound quality doesn't matter though, when Bacon chats it up with one of the fastest rising stars in New England. He talks being in the right place at the right time, getting him onto shows such as Northeast Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and Limitless Wrestling. For the first time, hear Bacon and DL discuss the infamous incident where DL broke his leg at Chaotic Wrestling, against the Closers. Enjoy this lighthearted romp through the life of Hurst.@dl_wrestlesThanks to our sponsors: @Battlewoundsapparel, J.M. There's only two things in Maine... Tree's, and Posse's. Ok, that's not true, but the posse we have today comes from Maine. It's Danger Kid, and Aiden Aggro. They stopped by Bacon's house before Western Mass Wrestling, for the first ever in studio interview. It's a fun one, as DK and Aggro talk their start in wrestling, how they got the Maine State Posse name, their entrance music, morph suits, lullabies, Limitless Wrestling, Let's Wrestle, Chaotic Wrestling, and Northeast Wrestling are just SOME of the topics discussed this week. This episode caps off with a review of the 10/9 edition of AEW Dynamite. @IamTheDangerKid @HeIsAGGRO @MaineStatePosseSpecial thanks to our sponsors! @Battlewoundsapparel, J.M. Ring Of Honor Wrestling's "The Brawler" Brian Milonas has his name here for no reason really, as referee Mike Crockett and Brian Fury (@xbrianxfuryx) harken back to the olden days of the WPAN and Episode 048, The Name Droppers! In that episode, we talked about interesting run-ins we've had with the well-known stars of pro wrestling. Now, some two-and-a-half years later, Fury is sharing some of his tales of rubbing elbows with the legends - and contributing as well is a podcaster in his own right (just not currently) and the former Chaotic Wrestling owner Jamie Jamitkowski (@JamieJUCW)! Hear about how Greg Valentine prepares for a match, which wrestler roams around middle school classrooms naked, more toe talk with Tony Atlas, why Jamie was keeping tabs on Sunny, what everyone wants (that Fury doesn't), what caused John Cena to walk out of a Chaotic show after one match, how Ricky Morton feels about Jerry Lynn's spots, why Big Show lectured a guy at baggage claim and so much more! Many names are dropped and you'll love every minute of it! Plus, this Promo About Nothing is hung over, Crockett's past comes back to haunt him, and everyone's career is over in Woburn, MA! In episode 98 ( Season 2, Episode 48) I interviewed professional wrestler The Retrosexual Anthony Greene who has been officially wrestling since 2012. In the interview we talk about how he first got into wrestling, how he transitioned from being a referee to becoming a professional wrestler. We also talk about him time in Power League Wrestling, Lucky Pro Wrestling, Top Rope Promotions, World Xtreme Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Chaotic Wrestling and all the championships he has won in these promotions. Furthermore, we also talk about the last two and a half years of his career and how the Retrosexual was created and how it has taken several promotions by storm. We finally talk about Beyond Wrestling were he had 3 unique matches against Lisa Marie Varon, Gangrel, and Stevie Richards and how those matches played out.

Ring Of Honor Wrestling's "The Brawler" Brian Milonas and referee Mike Crockett have done a lot of podcasting - just about three years' worth, in fact - and a lot of it, you may have missed. This week, we're sharing some of the personal tales we told on our companion podcast for BDA Radio in 2017, and if you haven't listened to those gems, it's new to you! First, Milonas recounts his very first day at the Chaotic Training Center (now the New England Pro Wrestling Academy) and why he almost stopped before he even really started. Then, we've both had the opportunity to book angles for Chaotic Wrestling and we reveal the worst stuff we ever booked! And finally, we admit, they haven't all been winners - the worst matches we've ever been involved in! Join us as we bare our souls AGAIN on the WPAN. Plus, saddle up for an all-time CLASSIC Promo About Nothing, Brian's travel woes and HEY YO, help us out by taking this survey! tinyurl.com/WPANsurvey Promo About Nothing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxxQR5n1SCk Get our weekly episodes, our t-shirt and more info on the podcast at TheWPAN.com. Ring Of Honor Wrestling's "The Brawler" Brian Milonas and referee Mike Crockett are bringing back a favorite of the fans and workers alike, the one and only Sonny Goodspeed to share more of his story, and whatever other stories we can get out of him. Included in this fantastic conversation: Tony Atlas' various proclivities, what happens when an indy wrestler hits the Powerball, more Lobsterman, does good vs. evil still sell tickets, the differences between working matches today and in the past, the evolving heel and babyface roles, plus Sonny's run in the tag team Chunky But Funky, his ill-fated stint in Chaotic Wrestling and why he was so uncomfortable there, why he slowed down on bookings and so much more! Also, a Promo About Nothing featuring the Yucky Mans, Sonny marvels at the Milonas compound, and speaking of Marvel, who would spoil Avengers: Endgame to get heat at a wrestling show (NO SPOILERS)? Pro wrestler "The Kingpin" Brian Milonas had a big pro wrestling weekend, so referee Mike Crockett put the call out to permanent guest host Brian Fury (@xbrianxfuryx) to fill the seat and he's got plenty to say about his UNretirement a couple weeks ago as he returned to the squared circle in his own promotion, Chaotic Wrestling! Also, after Crockett's antics on the "Pro Wrestling Positivity" episode, "The Firebrand" schools him on reasons he really SHOULD be excited about WWE - and it has nothing to do with the fact that he was recently flown to Orlando to once again be a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center. And Milonas may not be with Mike, but he checks in from the road with his thoughts on Final Battle, the TV tapings the next night, and the departure of The Elite! Plus, a Promo About Nothing that will make you pale, more talk about the best and worst t-shirt designs, and week three of The Kingpin's holiday segment. Pro wrestler "The Kingpin" Brian Milonas is hitting the highways and biways this Labor Day weekend, leaving referee Mike Crockett to run the show with a guest co-host, For The Pops and Let The Chaos Begin Podcasts' own Jamie Jamitkowski (@ForThePops)! Ironically, Milonas booked this week's guest - his trainer at the Chaotic Training Center, former head trainer for Killer Kowalski's Institute of Professional Wrestling and ex-WWF employee "Coach" Mike Hollow - but we're all friends here, so we can handle it without the big guy. In fact, both Mike and Jamie have great stories about the late Walter "Killer" Kowalski, including an interaction Walter had backstage at WWE with Ric Flair that will leave you in stitches! Mike and Jamie recount the split from Kowalski and the opening of Chaotic Wrestling's school, the eventual reunion with Walter, and the students that have made the big time along the way. Plus, hear about Hollow's humble beginnings with Titan Sports, which includes an infamous spot in 1988 where a WWE Hall Of Famer tumbled to the floor on his watch! Also this week, a Promo About Nothing full of pissants, we talk ALL IN for all of 30 seconds, and THE WORLD'S FIRST PODCAST SIMULCAST! It's part one of two episodes where Rich and Jamie talk about the Chaotic Training Center, the school opened and operated for over a decade by Chaotic Wrestling. We talk about Killer Kowalski, Pat Patterson and how the school opened illegally on the first day!
With Rich Palladino on vacation, the New Age Insiders stepped in with Jamie to discuss the road that led them to Chaotic Wrestling. Jamie & the NAI crew talk about shooting the ChaoticCast, how close Chaotic came to running in downtown Boston, the failed attempt at Video-on-Demand with FITE TV, and the epic trip to Wrestlemania in Orlando!
This week Rich & Jamie are back together again and talking about the first group of talent hired by Chaotic Wrestling. The so-called "Contract Crew" of Gino Martino, Luis Ortiz, Short Sleeve Sampson and more! Plus, we talk about the ONE wrestler both Rich & Jamie's wives refused to ever be around, what WWF Hall of Famer was injured on the first ever Chaotic Show and more stories from the very early days of Chaotic Wrestling!
Pro wrestler "The Kingpin" Brian Milonas is out on assignment, so referee Mike Crockett has again enlisted the services of the permanent guest host of the WPAN, owner of both Chaotic Wrestling and the New England Pro Wrestling Academy, Brian Fury (@xbrianxfuryx)! We reflect on some of the WORST ideas we've ever heard - booking plans, characters, production ideas and much more, including the humble beginnings of an NXT favorite. But before that, it's the return of a new bit to the podcast, Making Towns or Made Up Clowns, where you have to decide whether these strange, stupid or outlandish independent wrestling results are real or fake! Plus, a Promo About Nothing with a dull Razor, checking in on RAW, and Ring Of Honor confirmed for Madison Square Garden! On episode 54, Mikey Webb spends some time with us. We talk about how he got into the business, his training, his running buddies like Donovan Dijak and Warbeard Hanson, working with legends early in his career (2 Cold Scorpio, Buff Bagwell, Rikishi, The Godfather, and The Blue Meanie), his experiences in JAPW, Chaotic Wrestling, and the MFPW. He tells us about his experience in the Ring Of Honor Top Prospect tournament, and is honest about what he thought of his performance. We discuss wrestling in singles matches, tag team matches, and multi person matches, and whether he has a preference. We go over injuries and concussions, and what can be done to best avoid them. And finally we go over recent matches of his that created quite a buzz, both for The MFPW, and over the Super Sonic championship. Firstly, a three way dance with Nick Westgate and Anthony Greene, and secondly, his title defense against "LSG" Leon St. Giovanni. These matches were just as good, if not better than any televised wrestling you will see today.
