Today Rebels SpartaCon presents The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling featuring former #WWE Superstar Eric Escobar. This episode begs someone to answer the question; Why Was Eric Escobar released by WWE? Eric, John and Chad attempt to figure it all out In a compelling near 90 minute interview where Eric takes the TMPT on a journey back through his run in the WWE Developmental system, his rise to the main roster and his pairing with Vicki Guerrero who in 2009 may have been the most over heel in the company. This may be our most underrated interview of 2016 and is a must listen. In quite possibly the most controversial episode of The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast to date, John and Chad welcome former WWE Tag Team Champion and La Resitance member Rene Dupree. Dupree is not one to cut corners as he gives his honest and candid take on WWE Developmental, NXT, his issues with his former tag team partner Sylvan, disdain for Bubba Ray Dudley, Hardcore Holly and also JBL. Dupree's pull no punches style makes this a can't miss episode and if you are a fan of the mid 2000s WWE you will recall the missed opportunity by WWE not getting behind what was the youngest wrestler ever signed by the organization. As they say in wrestling “controversy creates cash” and today’s guest has stirred up his fair share of controversy as of late with his on screen endorsement of Presidential Candidate Donald Trump and now The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling welcomes the heat-seeking star of Lucha Underground Brian Cage as today’s guest. Since losing his hair to Albeto El Patron and TripleMania and wearing a “Trump 2016” shirt to the ring, Cage has been thrust into the mainstream spotlight as outside pro wrestling press has covered his latest antics antagonizing the crowds of Mexico, something he is no stranger to. A former WWE Developmental talent and a former TNA Gutcheck contestant, Cage is firmly entrenched in his most prominent role to date and fills John and Chad in on his rise to mainstream success.
