This episode of Double Tap is brought to you by: C&G Holsters (Code: WLSISLIFE) Midwest Industries (Code: WLSISLIFE) Blue Alpha Bowers Group (Code: WLS) Otis Technology (Code: WELIKESHOOTING15) Guests: Jon Patton – https://guncon.net – NILES, OH BIG PUBLIC SHOW DAY JUNE 20th, 2026 Industry/VIP Events JUNE 17-20, 2026 Text Dear WLS or Reviews +1 743 500 2171 Public https://welikeshooting.com/titles/ Dear WLS Question from Anonymous Coward from California WINNER People are looking at the ICE shooting all wro6vng. This is not a First Amendment issue. He wasn't peacefully protesting. There is plenty of video showing him actively blocking ICE vehicles before the shooting. That matters. This is also not a Second Amendment issue. He wasn't walking down the street, minding his business, and accidentally flashing a concealed carry gun. He was in direct physical conflict with law enforcement while armed. According to reporting, he had allegedly been “on duty” the week before, tracking ICE, and had been taken to the ground by agents, injuring his ribs. This time, when he went back “on duty,” he brought a gun. I understand why people instinctively hesitate to side with federal law enforcement. I really do. But if we're being honest, this situation demands a clear-eyed assessment—not emotional reflexes or ideological posturing. If the political alignment were reversed—if this were someone at a protest you agreed with—would you still argue the outcome was justified? In this case, my answer is still yes, the individual was at fault, regardless of ideology. As gun owners, we talk constantly about personal responsibility. That responsibility includes knowing what situations you do not escalate, especially when armed. A fight you cannot win is a fight against law enforcement officers when you are carrying a firearm. The moment you insert yourself into a physical confrontation with LEOs while armed, you are the one escalating the situation. Everyone knows this. This is not new. You are not going to win a solo fight against law enforcement. Period. Question from Jaqin Ta'Sox from Connecticut From; Jaqin Ta'Sox: Dear WLS Man. Sorry. The 646 episode got me fired up. In regards to Nick at time stamp 108 minutes. ICE doesn't need warrants to arrest illegal immigrants, because all of the people they are looking for are here illegally and 100% have another type of Law Enforcement Interaction (dwi, domestic violence, etc.) The illegals that don't have other Law Enforcement Interaction are usually collateral arrests, because ICE goes looking for 1 and find 12 together. As far as the US Citizens that interact with ICE, yes they are 99% detained and released upon verification of status. The 1% that are arrested/hurt are the people who escalate the Interaction instead of cooperating, like Jeremy said. Question from Anonymous Coward from California Question for double tap I've noticed that Jeremy is a lot calmer now that Aaron has been gone is that a coincidence or does Aaron just drive him that crazy? Question from Sean's Weight Loss Coach from Pennsylvania Question for Double Tap: With the new Ruger/Marlin 1894 in 10mm and the Taylor's 1873 Winchester clone in 9mm it got me thinking – what changes are needed to handle the rimless cartridges vs the more traditional rimmed cartridges that lever guns of this style are more commonly chambered for? Extractor change on the bolt? Chamber cut to control headspace with the cartridge mouth instead of the rim? Why has it taken this long for traditional lever guns like these to be chambered in rimless cartridges? Most sincerely, Sean's Weight Loss Coach Question from Anonymous Coward from California For double tap This question is mainly for Jeremy since he he sounds like he has the most experience with the XD line from SA. I have an XD.40 what parts should I expect to replace first and how often should I be cleaning it because I've heard mixed opinions on cleaning firearms? Question from LieutenantRand from Michigan LieutenantRand Are power lines higher in Africa? Or are there cases of giraffes being electrocuted? Question from Typicalpnwguy from Washington Dear wls crew, At the end of DT 447 Jeremy said to “go fuck yourself” so I did. Apparently its wrong for me to do so at a customer's house while doing deliveries. Now Im fired, wife left me, my dog found another hooman, and all I have is my pvs14 & mk18 cqbr blaster. Since Jeremy got me fired & divorced can I move in with you and get a job at the range? I promise to shit on Aaron every chance I get. Thank you for joining for Episode 2 of Season 13 of Next on the Tee. I've got a great lineup featuring one of my all-time favorite guests, plus three guys making their Next on the Tee debuts. We kick things off with Tom Purtzer, a player known for one of the purest swings in golf history. Tom shares stories from his career on the PGA and Champions Tours, including his first Tour win at the Glen Campbell LA Open, the celebrity-hosted events of golf's golden era, and on-course lessons Mickey Rooney thought he'd give Tom. We also talk about his win at Colonial, what it meant to sit next to Mr. Hogan at the Champions Dinner, and his thoughts on proposed PGA Tour changes. Next up is Jim Woods, Director of Golf at the historic Omni Bedford Springs. Jim shares his journey from college golf at SUNY Broome Community College through being one of the first to attend the PGA of America's Golf Training Program. He also talks about the great new Performance Center he's put together in Bedford Springs, and a simple but powerful tip that can significantly improve your game. Come back for Part 2, when I'm joined by caddie Bobby “Loops” Palmeri. Loops shares great stories from being on the bag at Bethpage State Park, particularly the Black Course. We talk about the famous sign, his experiences looping for Brian Harman, Cal Clutterbuck, and a very special, touching experience caddying for the late Tim Wakefield. We round things out with a visit from NFL Legend Bryce Paup. Bryce had a challenging upbringing due to dyslexia, which he didn't receive a diagnosis for until he was in his 30s. Growing up he was called "stupid" and the psychological effects from that are hurtful to this day. You'll hear how he hit rock bottom and thanks to his girlfriend, now wife, he's overcoming it. We also talk about his playing career in Green Bay and Buffalo plus his advice for kids going through the same things that he did. It's a powerful segment that you won't want to miss. Thanks so much for being here and pressing play—I'm grateful for each and every one of you.

Welcome to Episode 153 of Wrestling Tonight, powered by G FUEL and Dick Lazers — code TAVERN saves you 20%. Let's get into it. WWE delivered a historic Survivor Series: WarGames from Petco Park — the first outdoor Survivor Series ever, a stadium show under the Netflix/ESPN banner, and John Cena's final Survivor Series appearance. The Men's and Women's WarGames matches brought major spots, shifting alliances, and WrestleMania-season implications, while title bouts like Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio and Stephanie Vaquer vs. Nikki Bella pushed long-term stories forward. From surprise appearances to heel turns, injury updates, and post-show press conference fallout, Survivor Series shaped the next six weeks of WWE television. Meanwhile, the Last Time Is Now tournament is officially down to its final four. After Jey Uso outlasted Rusev and LA Knight put away The Miz — who manipulated his way into the bracket as Sheamus' injury replacement — the semifinals are set: Gunther vs. Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso vs. LA Knight. With Penta removed due to a legitimate shoulder injury and Carmelo Hayes falling to Gunther earlier in the week, the path to Cena's last opponent is clearer than ever. Both semifinals land on December 1 Raw, with the tournament final on December 5 SmackDown — and Cena's final match set for December 13 at Saturday Night's Main Event. AEW's week was no quieter, as the Continental Classic opened with upsets and instant storylines. Kyle Fletcher stunned Kazuchika Okada in the Gold League, Kevin Knight beat Darby Allin, and PAC debuted with a win over Mike Bailey — putting all three atop the standings. In the Blue League, Jon Moxley submitted Mascara Dorada, Claudio Castagnoli powered through Orange Cassidy, and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Roderick Strong to join the early three-point pack. Week 2 arrives with Moxley vs. Claudio, PAC vs. Okada, and Fletcher vs. Knight — plus the Women's World Tag Team Tournament semifinals in a Hardcore Holiday Death Match. Outside the rings, the industry is spinning. Claudio Castagnoli became CMLL World Heavyweight Champion in Mexico City. WWE reportedly made Chris Jericho a retirement storyline offer as his AEW contract nears its end. Andrade is negotiating his non-compete. Rush and Dralistico face surgeries. NXT Gold Rush delivered two major title changes. Seth Rollins outlined his WrestleMania-season comeback timeline. AEW and WWE are juggling schedule shifts, network demands, sponsorship deals, legal battles, backstage politics, injury updates, and new recruits — from high-level athletes entering the Performance Center to departures, surgeries, and reality-era conflicts reshaping locker rooms. And the week ahead is stacked: Moxley vs. Claudio, PAC vs. Okada, an AEW hardcore semifinal, NXT's Iron Survivor summit, The Culling explaining their betrayal, Briggs vs. Heights, TNA Impact fallout, Friday's SmackDown push toward December 13, and a wave of December tent-pole events — ROH Final Battle, NXT Deadline, AEW Winter Is Coming, TNA Final Resolution, AAA Guerra de Titanes, and Cena's farewell match.

This week we sit down with Maryland Athletics supporter Barry Gossett. We chat about his donations that have made so many facilities possible at UMD and why he continues to support the terps. As always we talk this week in Maryland sports.
When Payson hobbled his way into the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center in May with a broken hip, he wasn't expecting to be off crutches anytime soon, but thanks to the work of coaches like Will Gilmore, he not only managed to leave the facility without crutches, but also to jump back into racing a full month and a half before he'd planned. Will started his career in baseball, playing professionally before becoming a strength and conditioning coach for the Kansas City Royals and Cincinnati Reds. Now at Red Bull, he works with athletes across the spectrum, from snowboarders and gamers to surfers and cyclists. In this conversation, he and Payson chat about why he left professional baseball, how he and the team at the Athlete Performance Center adapt their knowledge and technology to over 800 athletes in a dizzying number of sports, and how he helped Payson return from injury long before it seemed possible. John Kemp may be the perfect person to be at the helm at the Lakeshore Foundation. As you’ll hear in this episode, his passion for the adaptive sports community isn’t just professional. It’s personal. Born without arms and legs, Kemp had to adjust at an early age to his surroundings, and managed to play baseball even if his career may not have been worthy of the Hall of Fame as he’ll discuss. He has, however, gone on to a Hall of Fame career when it comes to advocacy for the disability movement. His previous leadership roles include serving as the national executive director of United Cerebral Palsy Associations, president and CEO of VSA Arts and VSA Arts International, and as general counsel and vice president of development for the National Easter Seal Society, among others. In 1995, he co-founded the American Association of People with Disabilities. He recently served as president and CEO of the Viscardi Center and Henry Viscardi School in New York. But in 2021, he was named president at CEO of the Lakeshore Foundation. The foundation has taken on different forms over the years but traces its origins all the way to 1925 as the Jefferson Tuberculosis Sanitorium. Since then, its focus has turned to a much wider spectrum, and in 1984 began as something close to its current form as the Lakeshore Foundation, with Jeff Underwood taking the helm as the first president and CEO. As the relatively new leader, Kemp oversees a program that is now an official U.S. Paralympic Training site, and serves over 4,000 people annually through its various programs. Last year, it opened its Sports Science & Performance Center, a first-of-its-kind program that will help fuel the pipeline for Team USA and other elite athletes through a performance lab, strength and conditioning center and nutrition lab among other things. In this conversation, we’re going to discuss Lakeshore’s amazing history, the rise of the Paralympic movement, the opportunities ahead with the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles and perhaps most importantly, what host cities and venues need to know about serving the community of adaptive sports athletes. And, Scarecrow, designed by David McLay Kidd, will open for public play on August 1. The course plays to a par of 71, stretches to 6,900 yards and is turfed with traditional fine fescue, which provides for firm and fast surfaces.
