This week on The Kenny The Sports Guy Podcast, I sit down with the one and only Al Snow — wrestling legend, hardcore icon, trainer of champions, and now actor with his new movie Learning You. We go way past the highlight reels and get into the real stuff: locker room stories, the mindset it takes to survive in pro wrestling, how the business has changed (and how it hasn't), and what today's talent needs to understand if they actually want to make it. Al doesn't sugarcoat a thing — and you know I don't either. We also talk about Learning You — what drew Al to the project, the message behind the film, and how storytelling in movies isn't all that different from storytelling in the ring. Different arena, same psychology. If you're a wrestling fan, a sports fan, or just someone who loves honest conversations with no fluff, this episode is for you. Insight, laughs, hard truths, and plenty of “you won't hear this anywhere else” moments.

As an autistic advocate and OT mom, few films hit as close to home as Learning You, a new autism‑centered movie opening in theaters nationwide on January 16, 2026. This special episode of Adulting With Autism features actor John Wells and director Tyler Sansom, sharing the heart behind a story that follows a father's journey to truly see his autistic son—and himself—through the lens of faith, family, and hard‑earned understanding. Inspired by real experiences of parents raising children with special needs, Learning You highlights family strength, resilience, and the hope that grows when someone finally feels seen. The film is brought to life by a cast and crew that intentionally includes parents and individuals from the autism community, adding rare authenticity to the screen. You'll hear about performances from John Wells (also a real‑life dad to an autistic son), WWE legend Al Snow (grandfather to autistic grandchildren), Caleb Milby, Stacy Haiduk (Days of Our Lives), Daniel Roebuck (Matlock), Cameron Arnett (The Forge), and Read Choi, among others. Directed and produced by Tyler Sansom, with a screenplay by J. Wayne Davidson, Justen Overlander (The Chosen), Sansom, and Brad J. Silverman (Grace Unplugged), this film is more than entertainment—it's a mission project. One hundred percent of proceeds go to ACT (Awareness, Connection, Touch), a nonprofit supporting parents of children with autism and other special needs, making every ticket a form of practical support as well as representation. In this episode, we talk about: How Learning You was born from real stories of special needs families John's experience as both an actor and a father to an autistic son Tyler's vision of film as a ministry of encouragement for caregivers and parents Why authentic casting and crew representation matter in autism storytelling How proceeds support ACT's work with families in the autism and special needs community If you care about autism acceptance, faith‑informed storytelling, and inclusive media, this episode will give you a behind‑the‑scenes look at a film created with our community at the center. If this episode resonates, follow/subscribe to Adulting With Autism on Podbean, Apple, or Spotify and leave a 5‑star review so more families, caregivers, and autistic adults can find it. This week on the podcast version of McGuire on Wrestling, you're getting extended content including a very special, and very real conversation with ECW, WWE, TNA and OVW Current Coach/Owner, AL SNOW! Al's experience in his FIFTH DECADE of pro wrestling led us to a remarkably fun but compelling conversation about what it takes to try and get noticed in an oversaturated wrestling world, and what he himself looks for from any talent trying to get noticed - inside AND outside of the ring. Also on the show, our new "Have Your Say" segment debuts, with former Sportscaster and TV producer, as well as Celebrate Wrestling follower, Kevin Jesus joining Mike to share his feelings on WrestleMania today vs. growing up as a fan, the Saudi Arabia deal for Mania and why that's NOT the reason he's losing his love for WWE's biggest branded event. The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer walks us through some of the week's news, as well as the fallout from the latest head-to-head day between WWE and AEW, what could be next for NXT's Oba Femi, and who he thinks can be the biggest draw for both sides moving forward. The summer of 2000 continues on, with Ryan and Cindy traveling to Dallas for Fully Loaded 2000 and a possible changing of the guard in the main event scene…or not.  We start talking about how this is a unique card, with 3 mid-carders stepping up against established main eventers.  The escalation of the Trish/Lita feud, with the Hardy Boys and T&A on the side. The return of Tazz and him facing the ultimate challenge of Al Snow. The beginning of the Triple H/Stephanie flower confusion and Kurt Angle attacking the Undertaker with a cartoonish wrench. Rikishi performing an insane splash from the top of the cage. The underwhelming Undertaker squash of Kurt Angle and a discussion on 2000 Undertaker. Two great main events, firmly establishing the Canadian Chrises as main event stars.  We follow up with Raw the night after where we see the Big Show return…and turn heel within the hour. The continuing saga of Triple H/Stephanie receiving flowers and the continued build of Trish and Lita. Then head to Smackdown where more shenanigans continue to strain the Triple H/Stephanie marriage.  All this and much more. Enjoy!
