YEESH!!! This movie was certainly uncomfortable for a number of reasons. Not only for it's content, but because Eric and Derryk just didn't like it. That's their opinion. I think myself and Criterion have some stuff to say in regards to the art that is this motion picture. It's not for everyone, but in my opinion, it's worth the watch. If at least to say, that you have seen it. That's definitely not what I would say about Night on the Galactic Railroad... OH MY GOD!!! You will never live it down, Derryk!! The gang gets deep this week, as they review James Cameron's follow up to Aliens and The Terminator, The Abyss (1989). Comet in Moominland is a perfect starting point; just like Night on the Galactic Railroad, it's ostensibly a kid's book, but one which is steeped in the most deliciously existential of dreads.
