Jak oni to robią? Po prostu nadal tkwią przy zbilansowanym jedzeniu, spożywając tyle kalorii, ile danego dnia zużył organizm. Tu można postawić kropkę i zamknąć ten temat. To oznacza, że nie tracą ponownie kontroli. Nie upajają się sukcesem. Oczywiście, wszystko jest dla ludzi. Alkohol, słodycze, hamburgery, frytki, pizza, a nawet te najgorszej jakości ciastka z dyskontu. Jednak musisz zyskać nad tym jakiekolwiek panowanie. Do tego nie można wpaść w schematy na linii sport–dieta, których ja doświadczałem. Czasami miałem tak, że po mocniejszym treningu albo zawodach pozwalałem sobie na dwa piwa. Następnie zauważyłem, że coraz więcej daję sobie przyzwoleń na te frytki, czekoladę, ponieważ intensywnie trenuję. W końcu spaliłem dzisiaj dodatkowo tysiąc kalorii. No dobrze, ale nie musisz tego uzupełniać w taki sposób. Bo może to się skończyć tak, że postanowię jeździć każdego dnia po sto kilometrów tylko po to, aby codziennie spożywać coś, czego nie powinienem. To pułapka, przez którą może się okazać, że sport w moim życiu jest tylko po to, aby pić i żreć. Dobrze, że na czas to wychwyciłem – ten nowy harmonogram, który moja głowa próbowała ułożyć, znów dając sobie te liczne nagrody, będące pokłosiem starego nałogu. Przy tym niezbędne jest weryfikowanie wagi. Kiedy piszę, aby robić to regularnie, to odzywają się niekiedy osoby mówiące mi, że jest to wpędzanie siebie w zaburzenia odżywiania i chorobliwe kontrolowanie wagi. Jednak mi nie chodzi o to, aby płakać nad każdym kilogramem, nie. Mam na myśli pewną dyscyplinę. Samokontrolę. Ja, mając siedemdziesiąt siedem kilogramów masy, wiem, że na następny dzień po ciężkim treningu oraz uzupełnieniu deficytu zanotuję siedemdziesiąt dziewięć. Znam swój organizm i mam pewną tolerancję. Jednak gdyby pojawiło się osiemdziesiąt cztery, wówczas biłbym na alarm. Z tego też względu wolę każdego dnia zadać sobie pytanie, czy oby nie przesadzam z kaloriami, niż obudzić się w przeszłości, wychodząc z założenia, że nie można być niewolnikiem tego kawałka elektroniki w mojej łazience. Umówiłem się sam ze sobą, że najlepiej wyglądam i czuję się przy określonej liczbie kilogramów, i tego się trzymam bez względu na święta, wyjazdy, rocznice, zawody, smutek czy wakacje. Korzystam ze wszystkich dobrodziejstw zaopatrzenia sklepowego, jednak bardzo staram się nie przesadzać w żadnym kierunku. Jem i piję wszystko, co jest legalne. Jednak za każdym razem pozostawiam ten lekki niedosyt. To delikatne czasem cierpienie jest szacunkiem dla przeszłego wysiłku. Po prostu cholernie byłoby mi tego szkoda. Nawet jeśli ktoś oceni to jako zaburzenie odżywania albo wpędzanie w nie innych. Zatem czy wypicie trzech piw zamiast pięciu, brak cukru w kawie, napój light albo notowanie swojej wagi co drugi dzień to choroba czy dbanie o swoje ciało i psyche? Czy sprawdzanie stanu swojego rachunku bankowego co dwa dni to mania, a może kontrola poziomu wydatków? Sprawdzanie średniego spalania auta na trasie to działanie kompulsywne czy racjonalne? Tak samo jak odpowiedzialnie starasz się wydawać pieniądze na zakupach, jeździć oszczędnie oraz weryfikować swoje postępy w pracy, powinieneś(-nnaś) zwracać uwagę na jadłospis oraz wagę. Bez przeginania w żadną ze stron. Nie wpadaj w panikę, jeśli w wigilię zjesz o dwa kawałki ciasta za dużo albo wypadnie raz na jakiś czas zbyt szalona impreza. Jednak nie przyjmuj tego za normę. Przy tym wszystkim bardzo mi zależy na poznawaniu doświadczeń innych. Zwłaszcza osób, które osobiście poznałem i które tak samo jak ja zdecydowały się zrzucić kilkadziesiąt kilogramów. Żadna z nich nie powiedziała, że to było proste. Nikt nie odkrył innego sposobu niż wyżej opisany. Nie poznałem też nikogo, kto nie liczyłby choć orientacyjnie spalanych i spożytych kalorii.

JEDNO ZADANIE A INNY SPOSÓB KOMUNIKACJI Katarzyna Michałek / Trenerka Prowadząca Alfa Horse Choć człowiek i koń chcą osiągnąć ten sam efekt, bardzo często dochodzą do niego zupełnie inną drogą. Człowiek naturalnie sięga po ręce i działanie fizyczne, ponieważ właśnie w ten sposób od tysięcy lat wpływa na otaczający go świat. Konie również przesuwają, zatrzymują i kierują ruchem innych koni, ale zanim pojawi się kontakt fizyczny, najpierw wykorzystują uwagę, energię, ustawienie ciała i kontrolę przestrzeni. Posłuchajcie więc, jakie są tego konsekwencje.Pamiętajcie, że nie wszystko trzeba zrozumieć od razu. Tymczasem w wielu sytuacjach problem wygląda zupełnie inaczej. Każdy koń ma pewien zakres pobudzenia, w którym jest w stanie spokojnie odbierać informacje, analizować je i adekwatnie odpowiadać. Dopóki mieści się w tym zakresie, nadal jest z nami „w rozmowie”.Problem zaczyna się wtedy, gdy napięcie zaczyna narastać. Dokładają się bodźce z otoczenia, nasze sygnały, emocje, napięcia w ciele, przewidywanie tego, co za chwilę się wydarzy i wcześniejsze doświadczenia konia. W pewnym momencie układ nerwowy jest tym wszystkim tak obciążony, że koń przestaje spokojnie przetwarzać informacje i przechodzi w tryb automatycznego reagowania.To właśnie dlatego czasami nie pomaga dokładanie kolejnych sygnałów. CO SIĘ DZIEJE W GŁOWIE KONIA, KIEDY SKRĘCA Katarzyna Michałek / Trenerka Prowadząca Alfa Horse Zmiana kierunku to coś, co często robimy odruchowo. Skręcamy konia, zmieniamy stronę i idziemy dalej. A tak naprawdę w tym jednym momencie dzieje się dużo więcej. Przerywamy to, co koń już wybrał, na chwilę zatrzymujemy jego decyzję. Dajemy mu szansę, żeby znowu spojrzał na nas i zaczął z nami współpracować. To nie tylko zmiana toru ruchu. To zmiana w ciele konia. Przekrzyżowanie nóg wymaga większej koordynacji i skupienia, więc koń nie może działać już tylko „z rozpędu”. Musi się na chwilę zatrzymać w tym swoim działaniu i bardziej świadomie użyć ciała. Dlatego zmiany kierunku często pomagają. Wprowadzają trochę porządku tam, gdzie zaczyna się zamieszanie. Dają koniowi moment na myślenie zamiast samej reakcji. Ale to nie jest magiczne rozwiązanie. If you studied Indonesian history in school in the 1990s, you learned to divide the archipelago's past into neat chapters: Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms, then Islamic sultanates, with a brief “transitional period” somewhere in between. Colonial archaeologists created these categories in the nineteenth century, and they've structured Indonesian historiography ever since — shaping not just how we study ancient sites, but what counts as history in the first place and what we archive and remember for the future. But visit Sendang Duwur, a sixteenth-century Islamic compound in East Java, and these categories start to fracture. Here, soaring temple gates with Hindu iconography guard an active mosque. Pilgrims climb stairs designed like pathways to heaven, passing through spaces that refuse singular religious meanings. The site has been continuously inhabited, renovated, and reinterpreted for five centuries, yet archaeological scholarship tends to freeze it in time. What if this framework blinds us to how Javanese communities actually understand sacred space? What recourse do scholars have to resist these inherited categories and imagine decolonial futures for Indonesian archaeology? In this week's episode, Tito chats with Panggah Ardiansyah, a Research Associate at the Digital Humanities Institute at the University of Sheffield, whose research challenges us to read Indonesian antiquities through Indonesian epistemologies. Drawing on his paper Fragment and Evocation: Hindu-Buddhist Hauntings in the Islamic Complex of Sendang Duwur published in the journal Art History in 2025 as part of a special edition on decoloniality, Panggah argues that the concept of kramat — sacred sites imbued with ancestral power — offers better tools for understanding sites like Sendang Duwur than the binaries we inherited from colonial scholarship. Deși zona este deja frecventată informal, ea nu dispune încă de infrastructură de acces precum o serie de panouri informative, iar specii invazive precum țestoasa de Florida amenință echilibrul natural al ariei. Asociația Parcul Natural București propune în zonă amenajarea unor poteci pietonale și ciclistice, observatoare ornitologice și programe de educație ecologică. Astfel, Colentina ar putea deveni un spațiu verde de calitate, crescând calitatea vieții din oraș.

Etter flere år som ansatt hos kontorer som Griff, Kristin Jarmund Arkitekter og Lund Hagem Arkitekter startet han Eriksen Skajaa Arkitekter i 2010 med Joakim Skajaa. I 2018 startet han Fragment for å arbeide videre med det politiske og samfunnsorienterte fokuset.  Han har undervist både på Arkitekthøgskolen i Oslo, Bergen Arkitekthøgskole, NMBU og for IBA Thüringen i Tyskland. Han sitter i styret i Leieboerforeningen og er blant annet juryleder for Arnstein Arneberg prisen. A majority of the 24 artists represented are based in Minnesota, including Tia Keobounpheng, Sonja Peterson, Amber M. Jensen, Talon Cavender-Wilson, Pieper Bloomquist and Lucy and Gene Tokheim of Tokheim Stoneware. The exhibit will be on view through June 7.

Today's 2 topics: - Astronomers have yet to discover any long lasting natural object, beside our Moon, which orbits the Earth, however, occasionally, a small space rock enters into a temporary dance with our home planet.   - My Catalina Sky Survey teammate Greg Leonard was asteroid hunting in the constellation of Hydra with our Schmidt telescope on Mt. Bigelow, Arizona when a fast moving unknown point of light passed through a set of his images. After Greg reported his observations to the Minor Planet Center for the next 10 days it was tracked by observatories in Arizona, Italy, Hawaii, Australia, and Argentina.  Citizen scientist H. A. Güler analyzed these data. The Minor Planet Center published the discovery of the near Earth asteroid 2018 CN41.
