On this episode of The Video Game Tango Podcast we've got news from Sony's State of Play, and the OTK Games Expo! While Sony's State of Play featured a lot of news, it spent a lot of time on PSVR 2's upcoming titles. Did this leave a large percentage of their fanbase with little to talk about? Then we've got coverage for 25 of the games showcased during the Streamer-fueled showcase of indie games! A lot of very promising titles were shown during the showcase, and 2 of the independent developers were given grants of $20,000 and $30,000 and gaming PC's meant for further development of their titles as determined by viewers! Do you think smaller events held by big games like this is the future of gaming showcases? This is all of course followed by the Summer Game's Fest later this week, and the Microsoft/Bethesda showcase next week! Be sure to come back then, as we will have coverage of the announcements from those too!

We were on a panel at this year's SIEGE (Southern Interactive Entertainment and Games Expo). The panel was titled "Long-Term Collaboration, or How Not to Kill Each Other for Fun and Profit". The initial idea was Pat's, I wrote and submitted the pitch (and the title, of which I am quite proud). Molly and Leah were added to provide a different perspective (and panel experience), for which we were very appreciative. The organizers were fine with us setting up our equipment and making our own recording. We had no control over the environment, and the talk was less structured than our normal episodes. That said, Adam did a great job making it sound as good as possible for a live recording.
