I'm running a series on the biggest lessons I've experienced in 2024, sharing the behind-the-scenes of my business and life to inspire you to reflect on your own year and take those big lessons forward. In this episode, we're diving into November, and wow, it was a ride. November brought a mix of magical and heavy moments. I finally launched the evergreen funnel for the Frequency Project - something that took focused effort but is now live and welcoming new students in. I also wrapped up my six-week program, Build Your Human Design Business, which sold out with eight amazing participants and felt so aligned and fulfilling to create.November was also filled with travel. From road-tripping to Byron Bay to attending a Hosier concert with my family in the Hunter Valley, it was a month of movement and highlights. But amidst the external wins and excitement, there were personal challenges too. I found myself navigating waves of emotion, processing grief, and holding space for polarity - the reality that I can feel abundant in business and still be on a deep healing journey behind the scenes. The biggest lesson November taught me is that both light and dark can coexist. I can thrive in my work and still hold space for the parts of myself that need healing, and that duality is okay.As I close out this lesson, I'm excited to finish the year with my family on a skiing trip in Austria. Follow me on social media for updates from this adventure and beyond. Thank you for being here, and I'll be back with the final episode of this series soon.----------------------------------Please come say hi!Leave me a reviewJoin the Human Design for Marketing FB group, here where I go behind the episode scenes and answer your questionsFollow me on IGCheckout our YouTube channelDownload your Human Design chartDownload your custom Human Design for Marketing Reading ReportBook a Human Design for Marketing reading with YvetteGet the 64 Cosmic Content Codes Guide Join the Frequency Project

This Thanksgiving holiday, Erin pays tribute in the form of a eulogy for her late friend, mentor and stepfather, Terry Orvis, who died in August after a long illness. It's a collaborative approach, as Erin includes conversations she and Terry recorded in 2020 after he was diagnosed with dementia, and tells the story of a complicated, brilliant artist, architect, misanthrope, sports fan, Dylan-head, sailor, poet, cook, friend, husband and father of children lost and found. Erin and Terry met when she was in high school when she was invited to her best friend's divorced dad's Thanksgiving day, where they began a conversation that would go on to last 35 years, especially once Terry met Erin's mom, Paige. If you need a break from the bullshit, listen to this, tell the people you love why you love them, ask them why they love you, press record. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tell-me-about-your-father/support

With Loblaws facing criticism for soaring grocery prices and record-high profits during a cost-of-living crisis, can a boycott drive real change? We talk to Emily Johnson, the lead organizer for the Loblaws boycott, and Eric Wickham, a Toronto-based journalist and host of Big Shiny Takes. Emily is a mental health and addictions worker and single mother of two living in the suburbs west of Toronto, and Eric has been working on a year-long investigation on the price of groceries for The Hosier, an independent digital media outlet based in the Greater Toronto Area. We are also joined by Robert Miller, climate activist, organizer, and “spooookiest” friend of the pod, to discuss more solutions to reduce the price of groceries and save Halloween for children nationwide. Well… this was silly. (as usual) Great tunes were heard, illegible words were spoken, and a show was completed… we still don't know how this all works (old man syndrome - mostly El Carpe's fault). Tonight, we did a “reaction show” to tunes – from bands like Ride, Earl Greyhound, Hosier, Kosikk, Killing Joke and some others that may surprise you – Stone Roses and more… Eric and I enjoy chatting about tunes together – we hope you enjoy being a voyeur into our conversations about the music we like… one of these days we'll be famous (not today, obviously) and Joe Rogan will wash our feet (obvious religious overtone intended). Thanks for listening to our mess – we would appreciate any contributions to our cause if we knew how to ask for that, or how to accept it. Cash or check is fine. Contact Eric for details... somehow. “Pour me another brother”… and as always… rock on.
