Suzanne Mulholland aka The Batch Lady has become a household name thanks to her simple (and delicious) meals that can be made in advance to make sure there's always an answer to that question 'what's for dinner?'. But Suzanne didn't come to this through her love of cooking- quite the opposite. After working in the city as a time management guru for many years, Suzanne turned her organisational skills to family life when her own children came along. She decided that coming up with and cooking dinner from scratch every night wasn't for her, but she still wanted to provide delicious, healthy food for her family, so she started batching. The parents at school asked how Suzanne did it, she shared this through a charity batch cooking evening, and the response was such that Suzanne decided to share it more widely, and started The Batch Lady. But it wasn't all plain sailing. Many of her friends thought she was crazy to put herself out on social media, but she had big dreams and it was an essential step to help achieve them. Fast forward to now, and her fifth book has just hit the shelves (it's BRILLIANT), as well as her first TV series, Batch from Scratch, which she presents with Joe Swash. To find out more about Suzanne, see www.thebatchlady.com. To grab your copy of You've Got This, head to Amazon or Bloomsbury

Today's guest is Alex Murphy, one of the Professional dancers from the very popular Dancing on Ice TV show. Alex is a bit of a super human, not only a TV personality and one of the most entertaining content Creators in the business, but she won Dancing on Ice in 2020 with Joe Swash! She is also the reigning Dutch Dancing On Ice champion. We dig into the unrelatable out of body moment when Alex tragically suffered a stroke whilst on a cruise ship, and we talk about the impact that this has had on her life. Trapped and encapsulated in her own body, Alex couldn't feel her right side, or speak. The profound positive attraction of Murphy's Law when the unimaginable happens, and the ability to see positivity in the situation is incredible. We discuss the process of coming back from that, and becoming a force for good to winning Dancing on Ice just 3 months later. Now as a freelance content Creator, I ask Alex about the importance of creating a routine and structure, a great listen for those in the Freelance business looking to instil some structure to the sporadic pattern of the working week. Aimee will be probing for answers from the full spectrum of routines; the early birds who have finely tuned Monday mornings, to the late risers who struggle to get up before 11am. How do elite athletes find the motivation to kick start their week come rain or shine? How do celebrities deliver no matter what the time of day? What knowledge can they pass on? Each episode drops on a Monday morning as a bitesize piece of content and weekly dose of motivation - right when you need it. Aimee will meet each of her guests for a walk and a chat and over the course of the mile she will find out how they cope on a Monday morning - their idiosyncrasies, breakfast routines, alarm noises - and how, when they need to, find the motivation to kick-on through the week. Sharing some of Britain's greatest athletes, entrepreneurs, doctors, authors and broadcasters ' secrets on self-motivation, candid thoughts on what they struggle with and a sideways look at some of their more unusual morning habits. Head over to IG to watch the visuals of our episode and what we get up to on our Monday Mile. https://www.instagram.com/aimee_fuller/ Filmed by Jon Moy
