At the end of this truly miserable year, Tierney just wanted to turn her brain off and watch something fun and silly. (And, if it also happened to troll Matt, all the better!) What she probably didn’t expect, however, was for Collin to take the assignment a little too seriously. In any case, hilarity definitely ensued. So listen in for the last time this year as the Rommies DRASTICALLY over analyze these two, ultimately meaningless, entries in the Frozen Cinematic Universe.
The title's a lie. We don't really talk about Olaf's Frozen Adventure. But I bet that sucked you in. You want to hear about Olaf's Frozen Adventure. Well this episode will give you a little tease. Just a little taste of Olaf's Frozen Adventure. If you want the rest, you'll have to come back every week, and then one day we'll sneak it in there, but the episode title will be something you won't expect, like "Josie and the Pussycats." We do talk about Frozen and Frozen 2 though. And we recorded it long distance with Graham and Rachel over the phone, so expect poor audio quality. Graham uses the F word to express their love of Olaf's Frozen Adventure, so don't listen with your kids unless your kids are adults.
In the first episode of a brand new podcast series, Arun Mehta from The Arun Mehta Show and Patricia Miranda from Old School Lane watch and review every Pixar movie. The first one they discuss about the 2017 movie Coco. The movie is about a young boy from Mexico named Miguel who has a love and passion for playing music influenced by a musician named Ernesto de la Cruz. However, his family has a hatred towards music dating back to Miguel's great-great grandmother whose husband left to be a musician. During Dia de los Muertos, Miguel wants to enter a music contest, but his family refuses to let him. He runs away and tries to steal Ernesto's guitar, but ends up in the Land of the Dead. He wishes to meet up with Ernesto, his supposed great-great grandfather, to get his blessings to return home before Dia de los Muertos ends. Before the film started, it came with a short called Olaf's Frozen Adventure. When the movie premiered in theaters, it received critical acclaim from critics and fans making $807 million dollars on a $175 million dollar budget making it the highest grossing film in Mexico. What do Patricia and Arun think of the film? Listen and find out.

On this week's episode, Alex and Brandon chat in the fires of Mount Doom.Your intrepid podcast duo has returned once more, but are joined by a Fellowship of two lovely ladies; Kenzie makes her glorious return to offer some in-depth knowledge on J. R. R. Tolkien, and Robyn tags along just because. After a brief recap of their relatively quiet weeks, Alex makes his pick for the ABC's of Geekdom segment, this week deciding on one very hyperactive stuffed animal. After a short but sweet discussion on that, they move right into the corrections segment, including Caity Lotz, the Forbes Fictional 15 list, firedrakes, Trogdor the Burninator, the Berenstain Bears, Andrew Clements, James Wolk, Facepunch Studios, Sprint vs. Verizon, Jennifer Connelly, Ghost in the Shell, Chris Evans, Gilmore Girls, Injustice 2, Ronald McDonald, the Simpsons, the Nibblonains, Falling Skies, and Star Wars. Then, since it's such a light news week, they jump straight into reporting on the Bumblebee spinoff movie being set in the 80's, character appearance confirmations for Justice League and Infinity War, and plans for a new Spider-Man trilogy. After the break, the gang breaks down a few trailers, including Rough Night, Flatliners, and Olaf's Frozen Adventure. With all of that out of the way, they have an in-depth discussion of The Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring (spoilers from around 1:19:24-2:17:28). Brandon and Kenzie have been waiting for this day for a long time, so humor them and listen to them nerd out for a bit. Then, out of order, they give a few hot takes, including Spartacus, House of Cards, Million Dollar Baby, London has Fallen, Thor: the Dark World, Orange is the New Black, and Wonder Woman. Finally, they finish the show with an all-new Fan Fic Fights, this time engaging in a magical duel of epic proportions.Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @AtariAlex, and @Megsikouicorean, and our guest @RockinRobyn94.
