PAUSE… Feeling it soften you, Calm you, And slow you down.  LONG PAUSE… The gentle flow of the night,  Awaits you.  It runs slow and deep,  And calls you to do the same.  PAUSE… So feel your body melt into your bed a little deeper now. And take a big, deep breath in, Expanding your belly with fresh air, And filling yourself up. And then exhale,  Contracting your belly,  Until the very last drop of air has been released.  PAUSE… Sink even deeper into your bed.  And find the soothing rhythm of your breathing.  Letting it embrace you, And rock you gently.  LONG PAUSE… There are pools of water inside. LONG PAUSE… See if you can imagine that you're lying on a soft bed of cool, green grass.  Feel the gentle blades of grass beneath you, supporting and cradling your body. PAUSE… You hear the gentle sound of a nearby stream,  The cool water flowing and rippling over rocks and pebbles.  Slowly you walk towards it,  And step inside.  PAUSE… The cool water of the stream slowly washes over your toes,  Relaxing and soothing any areas of tension or discomfort.  Feel the refreshing water cover your feet and ankles,  Relaxing them completely. PAUSE… You step in deeper into the stream,  And feel the water cover your legs, Feel it relaxing each muscle with each gentle wave.  It soothes you, calms you,  And all the tension and stress releases from your legs.  LONG PAUSE… You sink a little further into the welcoming water, And can feel it touch your hips and your lower back. Imagine the water gathering all the stress, The worries,  The heaviness, And taking it from you as it floats away, Leaving everything submerged within it deeply relaxed.  LONG PAUSE… The water feels so soothing,  That you easily drop yourself down further,  Lowing your belly, chest and arms into it.  PAUSE… The welcoming water calms your belly, Softens your heart,  And releases any tension in your arms.  PAUSE… Listen to the gentle sounds of the stream,  Carrying away the day, And holding you in her softness.  LONG PAUSE… Gently and briefly, You slowly lower your entire head into the water,  And feel as it touches your chin,  Your mouth, Your cheeks,  Your eyes, And the crown of your head. PAUSE… For just a moment, you feel the water surround you, Cleanse you, And relax you. PAUSE… Your head rises, And you fill your lungs with sweet air, As you lay on your back, And float in the stream. Let yourself move around a little bit, releasing any tension or pain, So you can drop even further into your position.  And when you've found that sweet spot that you know so well, take a deep breath in, And as you exhale, release and relax. PAUSE… Listen to your breathing.  Hear the soft hums of the air going in and out of your nose.  Feel your chest and belly expanding and contracting. And feel your body getting heavier with every breath out. Breathe… PAUSE… Maybe there are parts of you that are hurting, my love.  Maybe your external or internal body is feeling weak or in pain. Perhaps your mind is holding things that are heavy. Maybe a part of your soul feels unsettled.  There may even be deep pain hiding inside of you. It's all okay, beautiful. We can all feel a little broken sometimes. These moments cannot dim your light.  In fact, they make your light even brighter.  And your light is what is here to heal you.  PAUSE… So let yourself relax a little bit more and as you do, imagine that your body is easing into a warm pool of water.  See yourself comfortably floating in this quiet, still pool,  Feeling the gentle tickle of the water on the sides of your face and the crown of your head.  Let your arms relax into the water, letting them naturally spread and release. Let your chest, back and stomach surrender to the buoyancy of the water.  And let your legs open and your feet fall to the sides as you surrender yourself to the water.  PAUSE… You can feel the warm water soothe you.  Relax you.   And as it does, you begin to feel a soft hum coming from the water, And see it glowing with a soft blue light.   Feel the blue light embrace you through the water, And invite it to take away the pain, the worries and the brokenness. PAUSE… See yourself lying in this pool glowing with soft blue light, Releasing the heaviness, And letting yourself be healed as you breathe.  PAUSE… Feel the warmth on your head as the healing blue light touches it, And then on your eyes, Your cheeks, Your mouth, And your neck.   Let it heal you. PAUSE… Feel the healing blue light touch your shoulders,  Your chest, Your arms and hands, Your stomach, And your hips. Breathe in this soft blue light and feel the warmth heal you, Feel it in your legs,  Your feet, And your toes.  And then imagine yourself covered completely in this soft, healing blue light.  Let it's warm glow release all the pain,  The emotions, The past, The brokenness.  Leave it here,  With the glowing blue light of the water.  It's here to heal you. I know your mind is spinning, And your heart is racing.  But it's time to come inside and uncover the peace inside of you, And drink deeply from its calming, soothing waters.  So close your eyes, And bring your attention inside. Let your mind shift from all those thoughts onto the slow motion of your body. The rising and falling of your belly, The air flowing in and out of your nose.  The feeling of the air touching your skin.  And see if you can slow it all down just a bit, Expanding your breathing, And relaxing your body. PAUSE... There will always be parts of your life that are unsettling. There will always be moments when there is distance between what you desire and what is. Anxiety arises when we worry about the future, or obsess about the past, and want to change it, want to control it… But can't. And the quickest and most powerful way to dissolve it all, Is to shift our minds and hearts and souls into the present moment. Where no anxiety can exist.  PAUSE… So invite yourself to be here. Deeply aware of yourself in this moment. Aware of your body's position, Aware of your breathing, Aware of your space. PAUSE... Place your hand on your heart, And let it find its calming, rhythmic beat. PAUSE… Listen to the sounds around you. Let them calm you, And pull you into this moment.  PAUSE… When you are here,  Everything is okay. There is nothing to worry about.   You are present. You are alive.  You are deeply connected to you. They all hide under the surface of the ocean in front of you, And deep inside the core of you. PAUSE… It's okay that they're here. It's okay that you're feeling them. They're part of the landscape, Part of the journey. So rest deeper into it all,  And allow yourself to be here with all of it, Nodding softly to the anxiety,  Recognizing it, Naming it, And honoring its presence here, Accepting the part it plays in the whole story. You go and go and go some more, Toiling in so many different ways. PAUSE… It's easy to fall into a pattern, With no room for checking in. You see to the needs of so many others, And then forget to look within. PAUSE… Your heart is in the right place, Your intentions are the best. You don't mean to neglect yourself, As you do so much work without rest. PAUSE… But the time has come to make a change, To turn your attention inward. Use this time, this twilight time, To recoup what's been deferred. PAUSE… Start by being still and quiet, Let your body slow its pace. From mind to heart to muscles and cells, Give yourself some space. PAUSE… Listen to sound of your breathing, Tune into the gentle beat of your heart. Hear your body's music, As you let the background noise depart. PAUSE… When you feel in touch with your rhythm, When you feel calm and serene, Let your mind drift where it wants, See what secrets are begging to be seen. PAUSE… Look at the things you've held out of sight, As you've rushed to keep up with the world. Look for what needs your attention, For the thoughts that have gone unheard. LONG PAUSE… Think about what's been missing for you, In recent days and weeks. Think about what fell to the bottom of the list, As the squeaky wheel got its grease. PAUSE… It's only human nature, To respond to what calls your name. But when those calls never seem to cease, It's your spirit that feels the pain. PAUSE… There's a special kind of exhaustion, That results from over-serving. Once it starts, it's tough to stop, And even harder to feel deserving. PAUSE… Though it may seem scary to make a change, It doesn't have to be drastic. Instead of throwing things out of your life, You can try a softer tactic. PAUSE… Use this time at the end of each day, To bring your thoughts back to you. Choose a yearning that went unseen, And make a promise to see it through. PAUSE… Tune in to what your soul is whispering. Listen to what it's prompting you to do. Imagine how it would feel to take a leap, To explore something exciting and new. PAUSE… Even more than the novelty, What matters is the choice. To hear what your spirit needs from you, Is the first step toward hearing your voice. PAUSE… It takes quite a bit of practice, To make yourself a priority. But each tiny step has massive power, Each one gives more authority. These moments cannot dim your light.  In fact, they make your light even brighter.  And your light is what is here to heal you.  PAUSE… So let yourself settle deeper into your bed and as you do, imagine that your body is easing into a warm pool of water.  See yourself comfortably floating in this quiet, still pool,  Feeling the gentle tickle of the water on the sides of your face and the crown of your head.  Let your arms relax into the water, letting them naturally spread and release. Let your chest, back and stomach surrender to the buoyancy of the water.  And let your legs open and your feet fall to the sides as you surrender yourself to the water.  PAUSE… You can feel the warm water soothe you. Relax you.   And as it does, you begin to feel a soft hum coming from the water, And see it glowing with a soft blue light.   Feel the blue light embrace you through the water, And invite it to take away the pain, the worries and the brokenness. PAUSE… See yourself lying in this pool glowing with soft blue light, Releasing the heaviness, And letting yourself be healed as you breathe.  PAUSE… Feel the warmth on your head as the healing blue light touches it, And then on your eyes, Your cheeks, Your mouth, And your neck.   Let it heal you. PAUSE… Feel the healing blue light touch your shoulders,  Your chest, Your arms and hands, Your stomach, And your hips. Breathe in this soft blue light and feel the warmth heal you, Feel it in your legs,  Your feet, And your toes.  And then imagine yourself covered completely in this soft, healing blue light.  Let it's warm glow release all the pain,  The emotions, The brokenness.  Leave it here,  With the glowing blue light of the water.  It's here to heal you. You have a gift, Of empathy and love, But too much makes you suffer.  PAUSE… You're the helper,  The giver, the support, A caregiver extraordinaire.  If you don't create, Boundaries and rules, Your energy will be left bare. LONG PAUSE… So let this be your moment, To come inside to you, And fill yourself with love. PAUSE… Listen to your heart, Whispering what you need, And gather it all from above.  PAUSE… Slowly and softly you rest, Calmly and gently you breathe. In order to be your best, Your self-care must never cease.  LONG PAUSE… The dreams of your desires,  Float into your mind, Their colors are swirling around.  So often you've told them, That they can't be yours, Until others are safe and sound.  PAUSE… So imagine the walls, That gently arise, Protecting what you need the most.  They'll allow you to help, Without losing yourself,  Will give you the best of both.  PAUSE… Rise, rise, Glass walls protect without hiding. PAUSE… Feeling it soften you, Calm you, And slow you down.  LONG PAUSE… The gentle flow of the night,  Awaits you.  It runs slow and deep,  And calls you to do the same.  PAUSE… So feel your body melt into your bed a little deeper now. And take a big, deep breath in, Expanding your belly with fresh air, And filling yourself up. And then exhale,  Contracting your belly,  Until the very last drop of air has been released.  PAUSE… Sink even deeper into your bed.  And find the soothing rhythm of your breathing.  Letting it embrace you, And rock you gently.  LONG PAUSE… There are pools of water inside. Soft and welcoming, Peacefully waiting for you to arrive here, Ready to carry you to sleep.  PAUSE… So you set upon your journey,  Knowing there are things you cannot take with you.  PAUSE… Your worries and fears. Your thoughts and plans. Your need to do.  They all must stay here, As you venture to find the sleepy flow.  PAUSE… So let them go,  Let them be. PAUSE… You hear the gentle sound of a nearby stream,  The cool water flowing and rippling over rocks and pebbles.  Slowly you walk towards it,  And step inside.  PAUSE… The cool water of the stream slowly washes over your toes,  Relaxing and soothing any areas of tension or discomfort.  Feel the refreshing water cover your feet and ankles,  Relaxing them completely. PAUSE… You step in deeper into the stream,  And feel the water cover your legs, Feel it relaxing each muscle with each gentle wave.  It soothes you, calms you,  And all the tension and stress releases from your legs.  LONG PAUSE… You sink a little further into the welcoming water, And can feel it touch your hips and your lower back. Imagine the water gathering all the stress, The worries,  The heaviness, And taking it from you as it floats away, Leaving everything submerged within it deeply relaxed.  LONG PAUSE… The water feels so soothing,  That you easily drop yourself down further,  Lowing your belly, chest and arms into it.  PAUSE… The welcoming water calms your belly, Softens your heart,  And releases any tension in your arms.  PAUSE… Listen to the gentle sounds of the stream,  Carrying away the day, And holding you in her softness.  LONG PAUSE… Gently and briefly, You slowly lower your entire head into the water,  And feel as it touches your chin,  Your mouth, Your cheeks,  Your eyes, And the crown of your head. PAUSE... There will always be parts of your life that are unsettling. There will always be moments when there is distance between what you desire and what is. Anxiety arises when we worry about the future, or obsess about the past, and want to change it, want to control it… But can't. So we worry. We stress. We let the anxiety creep in and overtake us until we are saturated with its heaviness. And the quickest and most powerful way to dissolve it all, Is to shift our minds and hearts and souls into the present moment. Where no anxiety can exist.  PAUSE… So invite yourself to be here. Deeply aware of yourself in this moment. Aware of your body's position, Aware of your breathing, Aware of your space. PAUSE... Place your hand on your heart, And let it find its calming, rhythmic beat. PAUSE… Listen to the sounds around you. Let them calm you, And pull you into this moment.  PAUSE… When you are here,  Everything is okay. There is nothing to worry about.   You are present. You are alive.  You are deeply connected to you. They all hide under the surface of the ocean in front of you, And deep inside the core of you. PAUSE… It's okay that they're here. It's okay that you're feeling them. They're part of the landscape, Part of the journey. So rest deeper into it all,  And allow yourself to be here with all of it, Nodding softly to the anxiety,  Recognizing it, Naming it, And honoring its presence here, Accepting the part it plays in the whole story. Inhale deeply, Following the air as it fills up your belly, And hold it for a moment.  And then exhale completely, Letting all that air go, And tightening your stomach at the end, As the very last drops of air are released.  PAUSE… Relax into a nice, easy rhythm of breathing, Slowing it down bit by bit with every single breath.  PAUSE… Let it soothe your body, And calm your mind.  LONG PAUSE… Now look upon your mind from afar. This beautiful part of you, Who loves to stay active, Electric, And bursting with thoughts.   PAUSE… Notice the colors, The greens and yellows and pinks, Painting your mind as they move, Sparkle,  And create.  PAUSE… Notice the bubbles of black, The mini clouds of grey, Spreading across with worry, And stress. PAUSE… Notice it all there, Encapsulated in your mind, This gorgeous, magical entity of color.  LONG PAUSE… Now breathe out, Over and over again, And notice the movement of your mind, Slow down, Lighten, And calm.  LONG PAUSE… Breathe out, And notice the colors that were sparkling within, The colors that were painted inside, Are lightening, Dissolving, And disappearing. Slowly, Piece by piece, Shade by shade, Drifting away from your mind, And into the nothingness of the night. LONG PAUSE… Look upon your mind from afar, Your body melted deep into your bed, Safe within your sheets.  PAUSE… Listen for it, The gentle sounds of silence, Coming from your calm mind. PAUSE… Feel it, The absence of movement, The space to be. The space to surrender to sleep. PAUSE… Breathe… And feel the calm, In your body, In your mind, Within your soul. Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.

Let your mind shift from all those thoughts onto the slow motion of your body. The rising and falling of your belly, The air flowing in and out of your nose.  The feeling of the air touching your skin.  And see if you can slow it all down just a bit, Expanding your breathing, And relaxing your body. PAUSE... There will always be parts of your life that are unsettling. There will always be moments when there is distance between what you desire and what is. Anxiety arises when we worry about the future, or obsess about the past, and want to change it, want to control it… But can't. So we worry. We stress. We let the anxiety creep in and overtake us until we are saturated with its heaviness. And the quickest and most powerful way to dissolve it all, Is to shift our minds and hearts and souls into the present moment. Where no anxiety can exist.  PAUSE… So invite yourself to be here. Deeply aware of yourself in this moment. Aware of your body's position, Aware of your breathing, Aware of your space. PAUSE... Place your hand on your heart, And let it find its calming, rhythmic beat. PAUSE… Listen to the sounds around you. Let them calm you, And pull you into this moment.  PAUSE… When you are here,  Everything is okay. There is nothing to worry about.   You are present. You are alive.  You are deeply connected to you. So take a deep breath in, Focusing on the refreshing air filling up your entire body, And breathe out,  Releasing and relaxing, Feeling the calming peace fill you up. PAUSE… Stay here in this moment, my love. Where all the worries and anxieties can dissolve, And clarity will come.  Right here, Right now, Everything is okay. And you are loved. Sweet Dreams, Beautiful.

In this message, Pastor Eric Robertson shares how we can choose the God thing over the good thing. Your life is a result of the choices that you make. It's important to make Godly choices. Discernment is not choosing between good and bad. But many times we are faced with decisions involving options that all seem good. Good idea vs. God idea1. A good idea is me-led.A God idea is Spirit-led. God has a perspective on your life that you don't have. God ideas sometimes doesn't make rational sense. 2. A good idea has earthly significance. A God idea has eternal significance. Every time you choose good over God you are delaying your destiny. 3. A good idea uses my effort. A God idea uses God's effort. God would rather build something with you than fix what you built without Him. What is God's will for your life?1.
