The Perfect Will of God vs. The Permissible Will of God • Sunday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To Give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give The Perfect Will of God vs. The Permissible Will of God: Seeking His Heart Above All Else As believers, we often hear about the “will of God,” but what does that truly mean? Scripture reveals that there is a difference between God's perfect will—His ultimate, sovereign plan—and His permissible will—what He allows due to human free will, even when it is not His best for us. The key to walking in victory, fulfillment, and divine purpose is seeking God's perfect will and not settling for what He merely allows. Let us dive into Scripture to understand these two aspects of God's will and why it is so important to seek His heart fully. 1. God's Perfect Will: His Sovereign, Best Plan for Us Romans 12:2 (NKJV) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” 2. God's Permissible Will: What He Allows, but Not His Best Psalm 106:13-15 (NKJV) “They soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel, but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert. And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.” 1 Samuel 8:6-7 (NKJV) “But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, ‘Give us a king to judge us.' So Samuel prayed to the Lord. And the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.'” Numbers 22:12-13, 19-22 (NKJV) “And God said to Balaam, ‘You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.' So Balaam rose in the morning and said to the princes of Balak, ‘Go back to your land, for the Lord has refused to give me permission to go with you.'” (v. 19-22) “Now therefore, please, you also stay here tonight, that I may know what more the Lord will say to me.” …Then God's anger was aroused because he went, and the Angel of the Lord took His stand in the way as an adversary against him.” 3. Why We Must Seek God's Perfect Will Ephesians 5:17 (NKJV) “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Colossians 1:9 (NKJV) “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” John 4:34 (NKJV) “Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.'” Conclusion: The Importance of Seeking His Perfect Will Many settle for God's permissible will, pursuing relationships, jobs, or ministries that God allows but that are not His perfect plan. While He may not stop us, the consequences can be costly. We must: 1. Seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). 2. Renew our minds to discern His will (Romans 12:2). 3. Trust Him fully (Proverbs 3:5-6). 4. Pray for wisdom and revelation (Colossians 1:9). By doing this, we will walk in God's perfect will, fulfilling His best for our lives! Let us not be like Israel, demanding what God allows but missing His best. Instead, let us seek His heart and live in His perfect plan!

God's Will and Christian Liberty, Part 4 - Understanding the Perfect Will of God, presented by Bob DeWaay and Jessica Kramasz. A misinterpretation of Roman's 12:2 leads to the belief that there is a third will of God - the perfect will - that can only be discovered by hearing directly from Him. Good, acceptable, and perfect are all modifying the same thing - the moral will of God (duration 00:21:17) Click here to play
5:17 - What was Myrrh used for/ what was the significance? / 12:57 - How much accountability do Christians have to other Christians? / 24:18 - What did Jesus mean when He said 'if I'm willing that he tarry till I come'? / 33:34 - What is the difference between Eucharist and Communion? / 39:36 - Is the Crucifix an idol? / 44:48 - Why was God referred to as Ba-al in 1 Chronicles 14? / 49:48 - What is the Perfect Will of God vs the Permissive Will of God?
Sometimes God sees us going in the wrong direction and prevents us. Sometimes He says "No" to our misguided requests. However, there are times when He observes our ungodly desires and permits us get exactly what we wanted. This is the Permissive Will of God. God is always sovereign, even when He lets us walk away. It's His mercy at work, hoping that we will one day realize our error and return to Him. In this message, we discuss Israel's desire for a king and how God granted them their request. They asked for permission to replace God at the center of their nation, and He obliged. We spend the bulk of the message dissecting exactly what Israel was looking for in a king, and why it was far from God's Will. We then talk about God's Perfect Will vs His Permissive Will, and conclude around one simple question: In your approach to God, are you asking for permission or are you coming to Him in submission?

Luke 24:13-24 Jesus' Resurrection fulfills the Law and the Prophets; he is the Living Word of God doing the Perfect Will of God.
Lady V's Devotional Episode 2 John 1:4-6 ESV says this: 4 I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. 5 And now I ask you, dear lady—not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it. 2 John 1:4-6 ESV 0 Devotional Why is love and truth in the “Perfect Will of GOD? Imagine if the whole world believed in Jesus and walked in LOVE and THE TRUTH with one another. I believe the earth would look a lot better right now. There would be no criminal activity. There wouldn't be anyone hating one another. Evil wouldn't have a grip on anyone. Love IS essential and the truth IS in the Word of God. Jesus said it like this, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your mind (Matt. 22:37, ESV). Jesus said that was the great and first commandment. Next, Jesus said, “And second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself (v.39).” Think about it--If more of us would love God and love others, that alone could change lives! And as believers in Jesus Christ, our love walk in Christ should make a statement. It should always be a contribution of grace into society. In other words, following Jesus' example of love would bring healing. It would affect lives for the better. In keeping with this, the world would see our love walk in Christ, but—so would our children, our family. LOVE makes a difference! Love always affects someone's life to bring about good. The Word of God describes what love should look like... Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corin. 13:4-7 NIV). It may seem difficult...But with God—ALL things are POSSIBLE!!! This is why it's so important to understand God's love for us. In John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life (ESV).” God loves us! HE sent HIS SON, Jesus, to do what only HE could have done—brought Salvation by HIS grace—HIS unmerited love. God made it POSSIBLE! God did this through Jesus. Need more proof of God's love for the world and that love is important? Well, everything began with the love of God. The breath of life in Adam and Eve in the beginning. Looking back—Adam and Eve could have been cancelled (erased) after they disobeyed God. But God had a better plan to redeem mankind. Salvation through Jesus on the Cross happened to reconcile mankind back to God—all because of God's love. That statement alone speaks volumes of HIS “LOVE”. The Creator of all things made a decision after Adam and Eve's sin of disobedience. It was clear everyone in the world would struggle with the sin of disobedience to God's Perfect Will. God Willed for mankind to receive a chance to begin again. Everyone in the world would need a Savior. But, no one else but God's Son could make this right. Now, because of Jesus, everyone has the opportunity to receive the free gift of Salvation. Through JESUS new life, forgiveness of sins, reconciliation back to God, comes by grace. Believing in Jesus brings change. That's love! Salvation—a grace gift! Paid for by Jesus' shed Blood on the Cross—The TRUTH! And the TRUTH, which is the Gospel of Jesus, reveals God's love for the world. HIS love is so great that HE doesn't want anyone to have to spend eternity apart from HIM.
To believe that there are no conditions or responsibilities on our part to obtain the prize and receive the blessings of our inheritance would be very naïve. There are conditions to walk out in our lives if we want to live in the perfect will of God and receive far more in this life. We are the ones that choose to walk in Gods will: Rom. 12:2 ~ And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. 10/12/2022 Have you ever asked yourself this Question?: ☆"Where Is My Favor"☆ Have you realize, that since GOD has Done His Part, by BIRTHING us into His Spiritual Family that we MUST Do and Fulfill Our Part to Cultivate Ourselves to GROW UP SPIRITUALLY Into the Image of J-E-S-U-S! Listen to what He says; WALK in the SPIRIT & we will NOT fulfill the LUST Of The FLESH, [Galatians 5:16, 17 & How About Romans 12:1, 2; I Beseech/ Encourage You Therefore, MY PEOPLE, by the Mercies of God, that WE Present Our Bodies a Living Sacrifice, Holy, Acceptable to God, which is Our Reasonable Service. And Do Not be Conformed to this World, but be Transformed by the Renewing of Our Mind, that we may Prove what is that Good and Acceptable and Perfect Will of God. Are you SETTLING for HIS PERMISSABLE WILL & NOT HIS PERFECT WILL! *"WOW"*! How Profound is That; Therefore, Laying Aside All Malice, All Deceit, Hypocrisy, Envy, and All Evil Speaking, as Newborn Babes, desire the Pure Milk of the WORD, that you may Grow thereby, if indeed you have Tasted that the Lord is Gracious. Coming to Him as to a Living Stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and Precious, you also, as Living Stones, are being Built up/Recontrusted to a Spiritual House, a Holy Priesthood, to Offer Up Spiritual Sacrifices Acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore as it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief Cornerstone, Elect, Precious, And he who Believes on Him will by NO MEANS Be Put to Shame.” [SO] God will not automatically plant this within you we have to cultivate it like a farmer growing a crop; If then you were raised with Christ, SEEK those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your MIND on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to DEATH your members which are on the earth: Fornication, Uncleanness, Passion, Evil Desire, and Covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of THESE things the Wath of God is coming upon the sons of Disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to Put Off All These: Anger, Wrath, Malice, Blasphemy, Filthy Language Out of Your Mouth. Do not Lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have Put On The NEW Man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him [JESUS The Son of David], where there is neither Greek nor Jew, Circumcised nor Uncircumcised, Barbarian, Scythian, Slave nor Free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, Holy and Beloved, Put On Tender Mercies, Kindness, Humility, [As king Manasseh did! Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and Prayed to Him; and He Received his Entreaty, Heard his Supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh KNEW that the Lord was God.] Meekness, Longsuffering; bearing with one another, and Forgiving one another, if anyone has a Complaint against another; even as Christ Forgave you, so you also MUST do. But above all these things Put on ❣Love❣, which is the Bond of Perfection. And let the Peace of God Rule in your Hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you Richly in all Wisdom, Teaching and Admonishing one another in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs, Singing with Grace in Your Hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in Word or Deed, Do All in the N-A-M-E of the Lord Jesus, giving Thanks to God the Father through Him. Also Read [Romans 6 & 8] In His Care,

Have you ever had to make a choice between two good options? In this message, Pastor Eric Robertson shares how we can choose the God thing over the good thing. Your life is a result of the choices that you make. It's important to make Godly choices. Discernment is not choosing between good and bad. But many times we are faced with decisions involving options that all seem good. Good idea vs. God idea1. A good idea is me-led.A God idea is Spirit-led. God has a perspective on your life that you don't have. God ideas sometimes doesn't make rational sense. 2. A good idea has earthly significance. A God idea has eternal significance. Every time you choose good over God you are delaying your destiny. 3. A good idea uses my effort. A God idea uses God's effort. God would rather build something with you than fix what you built without Him. What is God's will for your life?1. God's General Will: love God and love people - Mark 12:30-312. God's Specific Will: Specific works and ministries that God has planned for you - Ephesians 2:20Discernment is not just know the difference between right and wrong; it's knowing the difference between right and almost right. - Spurgeon1. Pray: Be Proactive not Reactive - Proverbs 3:5-62. Pause: Listen to God's response3. Peace: Follow Peace. Colossians 3:154. Presence: To Know God spend time with Him. 2 Corinthians 1:8, Acts 16:6Are you living in God's “sweet spot” for your life?
Align yourself to God's Perfect Will in order to receive His full blessings for your life.
Has the question, “What is God's will for my life?” overwhelmed you? I know it has me. Just the very thought of it stressed me out. I felt so unworthy of anything that was considered God's will. The whole thought seemed complicated and distant to me. I couldn't imagine what it was that I could possibly do just right to live in God's perfect will for my life. Today, we're going to dig a bit deeper into the will of God and you will see it's not nearly as overwhelming as you once thought. We will learn in three steps how to know, understand, trust, and live in God's good & perfect will. As we move forward we are blessed by the Apostle Paul's encouraging words in Philippians 1, where he says, “I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6) If you've been called to love Jesus, that wasn't in your power, that was from the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that spoke to you the truth of Jesus Christ, is the same Spirit that resurrected Jesus from the grave, and lives in you today! We can know and be confident that He who is faithful will continue the work He began in each of us. Let that renew your heart as you listen to this message. First let's start today's message by reading 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4, as it directly talks about the will of God and how to live it out, and at the very end of this chapter, we will hear the beautiful reward for all who are living out God's good and perfect will. “Finally, then, brothers & sisters, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more. For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you. Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another, for that indeed is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers & sisters, to do this more and more, and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one. But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4) Paul starts out by saying, how we are to walk in Christ Jesus and encourages us to continue to grow more and more in the Lord. It's important to understand just how we are to grow in the the Lord. In John 1:1-5 we read, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:1-5 ) And we get clarification from the Word of God just a few verses down in verse 14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) Step One of Living in the will of God is reading His word and knowing His Son, who is the Word of God! Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh. When you hold your Bible in your hands, you are holding the eternal and living truth, wisdom, and knowledge of God Almighty! The very character and essence of God and His Son Jesus Christ come to life when you read and study the scriptures. I want everyone listening to hear what I'm going to say and let it sink into the very marrow within your bones... we MUST read the Bible, the living Word of God! To truly know the heart and character of Jesus Christ we must feed on its every word. This is how the Holy Spirit will sanctify His true believers. It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6). Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus himself said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) The Bible is our spiritual food. There is more to us than just our physical bodies. We are a living spiritual being existing in an earthly body not made by human hands. We are the very temple of the Living God. There are Christians throughout the world that are spiritually starving and ultimately being deceived because they are not taking the time to seek God's face, truth, and wisdom. Living in the will of God is to know his good & perfect will. We can only know His will by reading His Word and knowing His Son. As much as I appreciate that you are taking the time to listen to me, and I have faith that God is blessing those who do, you can't get all of your understanding from other people, not even just your Pastor. You must take the time to sit at the table of God and allow Him to prepare a meal just for you. Step Two of Living in the will of God is living a Set Apart Life through the process of Sanctification. Moving on in 1 Thessalonians 4, Paul makes it very clear to his audience and says, “This is the will of God... your sanctification.” If our sanctification is the good & perfect will of God, then I think it important to understand just what sanctification is. Sanctification is the process that believers go through to become set apart. It is the process where God progressively transforms each of us as the Body of Christ into the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ. In essence, sanctification is our purification. As you read the Word of God your faith grows. As your faith grows you please the Lord. As you read the Word of God, your mind becomes renewed and transformed. You'll lovingly be convicted to change certain behaviors in your life that bring you into alignment with the Holy Spirit and God's good and perfect will. Everything changes. Your prayer life becomes more intimate and deeper. You begin to overcome the very things that make you look like the world; things like anger, greed, jealousy, bitterness, fear, and anxiety. You'll begin to trust in the Lord more and more each day. Now don't get me wrong, this process can be a bit painful. In John 15:2 Jesus teaches us that God cuts off every branch of His that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so that they will produce even more. This pruning Jesus is speaking of is God chastising (Hebrews 12:6-7) those whom He loves. It is a process that is often a bit painful and requires true surrender. It took me a while to get this and I still have my days. Depending on your willingness, this process can take a week or even longer. The moment we truly understand that this called out lifestyle that He requires of His children, is not to be mean or restrictive. It's required because we serve a Holy & Righteous God. Jesus talked about this in Luke 9:23. He said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Following God's good and perfect will isn't boring! Just look at all the different stories of Moses, David, Ruth, and the disciples! God used so many normal, everyday messed-up people. God lead them into all sorts of situations to advance His Kingdom. He used Paul, who was a murderer of Christians, to write more than half of the New Testament! All kingdom work that the Father considers valuable takes place through His Holy Spirit — not by means of human power or might. Far from being aimed at a select few who are called to ministry, this is an essential truth for all believers. When we bring honor and glory to God in all that we say and do... this is living in the will of God! Scripture is clear that through the process of sanctification and renewal of the mind we are able to learn what is the good and perfect will of God. “I appeal to you, therefore, brothers & sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2 And lastly, Step Three is understanding it's not about YOU — It's about JESUS CHRIST! When you finally come to the spiritual understanding that this life isn't about what we can see. It's not about our family, jobs, successes, or material things. It's not about doing everything exactly right. It's about knowing and loving JESUS CHRIST! Knowing him as a friend and as your personal Lord and Savior. The entire purpose of our lives in this world is to come to the realization that this life is a proving ground. We are spiritual beings living in a physical existence. There is ultimately only one question that matters: Do you choose Jesus or do you choose death? For all of those who are willing to die to themselves and seek the Kingdom of Heaven with everything that the Lord God has given you, then you will understand the purpose of life. Living a life that brings honor and glory to God in all that you do and say, is the Good & Perfect Will of God.
Scripture For Today: Lamentations 3:8“Even when I cry out or call for help, he shuts out my prayer!”Pray with All Kinds of Prayer pt 5We have been studying about “Prayer that changes THINGS.” We have been looking at the four sub-category of prayers under “Prayer that changes things.” Yesterday, we looked at “The Prayer of Petition and Supplication.” Today, I want to discuss the “Prayer of Dedication and Worship.” Jesus prayed a prayer of dedication in Luke 22:42. He said, “Faither, if you be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless, not my will, but your will be done.” Jesus never prayed, “IF it be Thy will, Father…” when He was praying for people to be healed. You cannot find one instance where He prayed that way. He never “asked God” if it was His will to heal anyone. He did not ask God if it was His will to quiet the raging seas. WHY? Because He knew it was God's Will to destroy the works of the devil everywhere He went! And God's PERFECT WILL was expressed in and through Jesus Himself! Amen! The prayer of dedication for a believer concerns God's will or plan for their life. You must seek the will of God and be open to receiving the answer. Pray in faith and receive in faith. The prayer of dedication IS NOT a “rededication of your life” to the Lord. NO! It is yielding yourself to God. Yielding does not mean “surrender.” It does not mean to “surrender under pressure” when the devil brings some negative circumstances into your life and you're trying to “Get God” to do something! The ONLY time you are to surrender is to Jesus when you first make Him Lord and Savior of your life. Amen! Your spirit man dies and is then recreated in the image of Jesus Himself. You become ONE with His Spirit. Amen! He the resides on the inside of you. Yield yourself to the Lord. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: casting ALL your cares upon Him; for HE cares for YOU!” Amen! Cast your cares of this world over on Him. He can handle it, believe me. As you humble yourself before Him, you are exalting the Word above whatever the situation is you are facing! That is what Jesus did in the Garden. Amen! As a result, the Word of God, the Will of God, prevailed in the Garden and at the Cross and after the Cross and after the Resurrection – and it continues to prevail unto this day! Amen! And it will prevail in your life when you do the same thing. Humble yourself to His will and claim the victory in Jesus! Amen! There is another area of dedication as well. It involves putting on the Armor of God. The Word says the breastplate you wear is the Righteousness of Jesus. Jesus – who knew no sin – was MADE SIN to you could be made the righteousness of God in Him. Receive this and dedicate yourself to believing it – you will win every single time! Amen! Let's Pray! God tells you as a born-again believer, you have been raised with Christ to a new life, sharing His resurrection from the dead, so seek the rich, eternal treasures that are above in heaven, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [Ps. 110:1.]And set your mind and keep it set on what is above the heavenly things, not on the things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:1-3)The Lord Directs you where to Look for your Help to Come, He says to: Lift up yiur eyes to God – Look up and Not to man, for in and with the Lord your God Rest your Salvation, Safety and Provision (Jer 3:23) Your HELP comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow you to Stumble, your foot to slip; Listen! He Who keeps you will not slumber. [I Sam 2:9; Ps.127:1; Prov 3:23, 26; Isa.l 27:3.] There is no Rock like your God. He guard you and make hay around, and around your house around all that you have all that you set your hand to do. Yes he blesses the works of your and your possessions increase in the land. In the Name of Jesus. You have been endowed with power from on high, from heaven, and you stand in the power of God's might, knowing no weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment shall be shown to be in the wrong. For you are a child of the living God. And that is who you are! (1 John 3:1, Luke 1:46, 1 Samuel 2:2, 9-10)You are God's Workmanship Created in Christ Jesus, to do those good works which he prepared anything for you to do, living the good life which he has given you to live. (Ephesians 2:10) and this blessing came from heaven above. You walk in your way secure and confidently trusting in and rely on and depending on God, and he will never allow your foot to slip because you are his child. (Ps 91:11, 12; Pro 10:9) God's blessing and favor from heaven causes you to live day and not be afraid, Yes, You Live down, and You Are Slowly Is Sweet. You Are Not Afraid of sudden care and panic, nor of the stormy blast of life or the storms that come upon ruling the wicked. For the Lord is your confidence, your firm and strong Foundation and ahigh tower, He Even Keeps your foot from being caught in a trap or some hidden danger. (Proverbs 3:23-26)In Romans 12:2 He continues saying: Do Not Be Conformed to This World and Age, do not fashion yourself after the world nor adapt yourself to its external, superficial customs, but be transformed- changed after being with God, recognizing you are a new creation in Christ Jesus. Anew creature altogether, the old has gone and the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17) God has transformed you after being born again of His Spirit, and Instruction you to continually be renewed by the power of God (342 anakaínōsis) and The Spirit of God operating on you and in due and stirring your mind's Most Holy Emotions, (1 Corinthians 2:4) having given you the Mind of Christ and Thus Holding the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His Heart (1 Corinthians 2:16) gives you His Ideals and Attitudes, Those from Heaven, Where Christ Is Seated at the Right Hand Got the Father; so That You May Prove for Yourself and Know the Good and Acceptable and Perfect Will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for you.God your Father and the Lord Jesus Christ has given you His Grace and Peace from heaven above, He has open the windows of heaven and pour out on you blessings there is not room enough to receive them all. (Malachi 3:10)Yes, God has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Ephesians 1:2-3) Jesus Christ the Bread of God came down out of heaven and gave life to uou in the world. (John 6:33, Isaiah 49:6)When you stand and look up to heaven, from where your help, you're doing the opposite of what most people do by keeping their minds on the things of the earth where they're going there next to it. But when you set your heart on the things of heaven, it will change your life.Jesus gave us a key in the Lord's prayer at the direction of God and his blessings proceed – from heaven to earth! Therefore, God directs us to live our lives from heaven to earth.Heaven is not just what is above you, but also was ahead of you. Heaven, in one sense is now and also what is yet to come, the future. So to live from heaven to earth is to live in God's future. God says, to come boldly to His throne of grace, to receive mercy for your failures and His well-timed help in your time of need.Where does He Directs You to come? Into His Presence. And His Presence is both with You and in Heaven at the Same Time. He is Omnipresent. The Lord Jesus Christ also tells us before we pray, that your Father in heaven knows things that you have need of before you ask him. Where is your Father? In heaven. So, the key is to live every day from the future and not the past. Look at the things you hopeful, not at the things you see. (Hebrews 11:1) look at things above and not below. Live from the future and not the past. How does one live from the future? When you realize that God already knows everything that you need before you ask him. Then you know every problem, every prayer and everything you bring before him ALREADY he has answered. So the secret is to not live from the problem, but to live knowing that God is already solved the problem, and that His answer is already coming to you before you see the answer. (Matthew 6:8)Every day you must choose to live not from your present crisis, but from God's answer already coming to you. Not from your present obstacle, but from your future breakthrough. You are in a battle. A battle that has already been Won. You are no longer a Victim but a Victor. Because it is no longer you who lives, but Christ lives in you. (Galatians 2:20) Greater is he Who lives in you than he who is lives in the world. (1 John 4:4)Live each day from the victory that Jesus is already Won for you.God disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross. (Colossians 2:15)For you being born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over that conquers the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact.(1 John 5:4-5 )As it's written, when you ask in prayer, believe you receive it because God has already sent it to you, so when you're asking, give thanks to God. (Mark 11:24)live from the victory of knowing God answers you, from your physician seated in the heavenly places with God in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:5)Live from heaven, from where all blessings come. Live your life in Christ from what he has already done. His finished work has freed you and given you the ability to live from the future because your victory is eternal. When you look at where you are instead of for God is leading you; you view things from earth to heaven. However, God blesses you from heaven to earth. Followed God's direction and you will see his blessings. Fight the one battle, run the finish race that has been completed in Christ finished work. You begin from the victory that Christ one, so rejoice in the joy of his finished work.Live now from your position in Christ, from the Spirit of the Living God directing and keeping and helping and effectively at work in each day. Then you will see your life as God sees you from his finished work in Christ whose one you the victory in a life of blessing on earth just as it is in heaven. When you learn the secret of living from the future and the peace and Joy the Lord gives you with his finished work, fighting the one battles their already accomplished by God then you live with they Heaven from Earth Viewpoint.

The number one question on the minds of most Christians is most likely; "what is God's perfect will for my life?" And "How will I know when I find it." This troubles most Christians to the point that they fear missing His will. This fear begins the "striving" to find God's will for their lives, which could be interpreted as "I must do the right thing and be right to be accepted and pleasing to God." If that is you, then I have some GREAT news for you. Listen in as we discover God's will for your life!

God's Perfect Will for You
I love Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon for the same reason I love Norman Rockwell. The people in those worlds are quirky but loveable, flawed but happy, sincere but imaginary. When you think about it, Lake Wobegon is a lot like Andy Griffith's Mayberry, where the children are mischievous but good-hearted, racial tension is nonexistent and all the women are homespun and pure. Just like they were in Michael Landon's Little House on the Prairie. Michael grew up as Little Joe Cartwright on the Ponderosa before he became Melissa Gilbert's “Pa” in an even better idyllic environment. You do realize Lake Wobegon and Mayberry and Little House aren't real places, right? I've always loved Norman Rockwell but let's not pretend he told us the truth. Rockwell painted a nation that never was, an idealized America, the nation of Paul Revere and Valley Forge and the key on Benjamin Franklin's kite string as that adorable old man stood alone under a lightning-filled sky. America's love of country music is an escape to that world of Bo and Luke and Daisy Duke and their bright orange General Lee, the original NASCAR driven by the original good old boys: http://mondaymemo.wpengine.com/me-we-heroes (Tommy Lee Jones is a Man's Man.) He don't take no shit from nobody. Damn. If he was president, he'd sure whip that Middle East into shape, wouldn't he? And then he'd use common sense to lower taxes, save Social Security, create jobs and sell us gas for a dollar a gallon. Hero worship breeds naiveté. It causes otherwise intelligent people to make idiotic “Tommy Lee Jones” statements and then vigorously defend those statements with extrapolations and fabricated facts. I am a professional romanticizer. My job is to write ads that make certain products and people larger than life. I am, frankly, very good at it. The American worship of “The Founding Fathers” is wearisome to me. I hear people speak of them as though they were emissaries of God's Perfect Will rather than the debt-laden, combative, self-interested businessmen they really were. Am I speaking heresy? If so, you believe America to be a religion that needs to be protected and enforced. My crime is that I see America as a people. “Well, things sure were simpler and better back then.” No they weren't. Things were exactly like they are now but without modern medicine and electricity and cell phones and cars and central heat and air conditioning. Make no mistake; heroes do have value. Bigger than life, highly exaggerated and always positioned in the most favorable light, a hero is a beautiful lie. We have historic heroes, folk heroes and comic book heroes. We have heroes in books and songs and movies and sport. We have heroes of morality, leadership, kindness and excellence. And nothing is so devastating to our sense of wellbeing as a badly fallen hero. Yes, heroes are dangerous to have. The only thing more dangerous is not to have them. Heroes raise the bar we jump and hold high the standards we live by. They are tattoos on our psyche, the embodiment of all we're striving to be. We create our heroes from our hopes and dreams. And then they create us in their own image. – from The Monday Morning Memo of the Wizard of Ads, Feb. 17, 2003 I am a true believer in the power and beauty of heroes. I do not wish to live in a world without them. But please hear this: a hero is that by which we should measure ourselves, as individuals. If you measure others by your heroes, you will quickly descend into a dark and frantic judgmentalism, crying, “All is lost and there is none that is good. No, not one.” Fearful discontent is a horrible master. Roy H. Williams
