Better late than never! Join us as the guys come out locked, stocked, and ready to roll…a little toooo ready (Can you say “over-caffeinated”?). After singing some songs, getting “the giggles” (we are just as embarrassed as you), and some rambling, the guys catch us up on what's going on in their lives, including: struggling to “love your neighbor as yourself” in the busyness of life, and having the power to CHANGE by CHOOSING to do it. From here, they turn to anonymous questions asked by YOU, including:
Watch out man! The weird guy over there has some kind of... elaborate kick he's been waiting to show off... and you just KNOW he's got a stupid name for it. "3/10"- IGN.com Send 3/10 reviews of this podcast to: pleasedontcast@gmail.com twitter.com/pleasedontcast patreon.com/pleasedontcast

Anthony Jeannot is an Australian comedian currently living in London, England. Anthony is funny, and when I say that I GENUINELY mean it. Obviously, if you're a comedian, isn't that the point? Well, that's pretty much imposter syndrome in a nutshell. We discuss poking fun out our selves in lieu of being bullied, and our weird careers leading up to what we do now. It is a great episode, and worth a listen. Anthony hosts the podcast High Brow Drivel and is an all-around fun individual to learn about. This podcast is unofficially sponsored by Forbidden Bingo. This is a special episode featuring my dear friend Tamsyn Dobson, who has chosen to be very vulnerable with me by sharing their story on my podcast. We met through a Disney Coffeehouse Pride Event at the end of June, and she has quickly become someone I can confide in. There is so much to her story, and who she is. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share it. I have always been an inclusive podcast, and am so grateful for the opportunities that have come from it. Thank you to Tamsyn for being vulnerable. Disney, if you are listening, there is no one more deserving of a role than my dear friend Tamsyn. I hope that we can both follow our dreams, while equally being authentically ourselves. I realize that this episode may be challenging to some, and heretical to others. I do not mean to cause discomfort. However, I do want to challenge a prevailing concept among many of my fellow fundamental pastors regarding our attitude toward Scripture. I am afraid we are making statements about the Bible, that the Bible does not make about itself. One of those is that the Bible is all you need. You don't need to read other books about the Bible (Unless it is the one that particular preacher who agrees with me wrote). You don't need to listen to anything outside the Bible that challenges the interpretation of the Bible that we believe to be accurate. You get the idea. In this episode, I just want to open a discussion and offer some food for thought. Please, if you must call me a heretic, doing it lovingly. Dear Mom and Dad, please don'trun out of money! Encore Episode This episode is one of the Top 9 Most Popular Breaking Money Silence® podcasts. If you want your mom and dad to live a long, healthy life but fear they may outlive their financial resources, you are not alone. Sixty-two percent of millennials and Gen Xers worry their parents haven't saved enough, yet over half find this money talk taboo. In this episode, I interview Blair Baldwin, founder of AgeUp about inter-generational money conversations and why his team decided to develop an innovative insurance product to address longevity risk (aka living into your 90s or 100s!). Discover why talking to your parents about their finances can be so uncomfortable and how AgeUp might be able to help bridge the gap. Blair Baldwin is the founder and general manager of AgeUp, a new financial product that fundamentally reimagines how annuities can both materially help the lives of middle class Americans and solve a looming financial crisis facing our country: how to close the gap between life expectancy and retirement savings. Blair and his team developed AgeUp as a new business unit inside Haven Life, MassMutual's in-house startup. Show Notes: Here are the resources that were mentioned during this podcast. SERIES ALERT - This is COLLAB CAMP, a way for me, a podcast team of one, to share and highlight some of the wonderful stories I have had the honor to hear this year. While in the middle of an OCONUS move in the final home stretch, my husband coming back from deployment, and my podcast picking up speed, I know that I have let some time lapse for some of these great conversations. That is why I want to highlight the creators, thinkers, and doers that have given me the space to share their stories with me this year before taking on any new content. Think of COLLAB CAMP like a creative bubble. Episodes for this will release every Monday through September. New Theme: For the next 3 Fridays, I will be sharing 3 military-focused stories both from spouses, and veterans in honor of RED Friday, which is a tradition to "Remember Everyone Deployed". With my husband coming back from deployment, and on the cusp of an OCONUS move, Friday will still always hold something special to me. Wearing something RED in honor of everyone deployed and they come home was a comfort, and I still try to wear something red each Friday. This week I was featured on Call To Marriage with Callie Meredith again, talking about our move and how I prepared. Check it out! Today's Military Spotlight is Ashley Stephenson, a military spouse, lawyer, and author of, “Rise Up: Be Resilient Like You're Running Out of Time,” which is great. Ashley and I talk about being a woman, the merit of the law, how polarizing things can be, and how to rise up and overcome imposter syndrome. Ashley is a very kind human and has a lot to say. I hope you enjoy this episode! UPDATES: We are on an interview hiatus. My husband and I are moving OCONUS to Hawaii. Pelayo AF is a content creator, comedian, International Representative, and larger-than-life personality. We discuss all sorts of things, but mainly: IMPOSTER SYNDROME SUCKS! We touch on all sorts of topics from LGBT, to religion, and how to just feel comfortable in one's skin. We wisdom with age and confidence, and Drag Race...Probably way too much about that, but fans will be fans! This is the final PRIDE 2021 episode in honor of the month; however, this is not the end of my LGBTQIA+ support or advocacy work. PRIDE LINEUP: This is an inclusive podcast about imposter syndrome is by definition: is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being found out to be a fraud. If you've listened to my podcast for a while, you know that is absolutely not how I definite it. I define it as the feeling of not fitting in or being able to truly be who you are authentically for fear of rejection. For the month of June, and Pride 2021, I wanted to honor some of the LGBTQIA+ voices I have heard from. In this lineup, we have gay, pansexual, nonbinary, and more. There are so many colors on the pride flag that can represent pieces of who you may be. For me, imposter syndrome super impacted my support of pride. I didn't like being put in the cis-gendered straight box. I am non-binary, with both male and female energy. This year, and every year, I am proud to be queer. Paint Fremmerlid Paint Fremmerlid is a non-binary/transhuman, LGTBTQIA+ advocate, and creative individual, working hard to be seen and validated in their own community. Paint's voice is important for non-binary and trans individuals because their story helps make others feel less alone. There's a lot we touch on, including mental health, healthcare, neuro divergence, and more. I am grateful for this interview because it helped me understand more about myself, and gave me a safe space to feel seen and heard. These days, being politically correct is becoming more important than ever. Some polled groups (like women and democrats) are mostly all for it while others (the Latinx community and men) tend to be a little less concerned with being PC. Regardless, cancel culture is a powerful force that's attacked celebrities like Chrissy Teigen, Kevin Hart, Mel Gibson, and so many more. Accountability and political correctness are important tools that are often used for good but at what point does someone deserve a second chance or forgiveness? Maybe forgiveness should be based on the severity of the offense or how long ago it happened or how good the public apology letter was. Or maybe there are no second chances when you're in the limelight. Join Holly and Mischa as they attempt to tackle some tricky topics from movies removed from Disney+ to stand up comedy to controversial words and phrases. Set your judgment aside and open your minds as you listen to this bold, new episode!

This week's episode features Nicole Halliwell, South Florida's premiere drag entertainer. Nicole has honed her craft for 15 years and has a lot of great insights into overcoming imposter syndrome. As an entertainer, she has had to get out of her own way to find success and what works for her. Nicole and I met through a virtual event she hosted, and since have become close bonding over memes and 90s pop culture. Nicole is one of the kindest humans I have had the pleasure of getting to know, and I am so excited to share this episode! I chose specifically to release our conversation this month in large part to Pride month. As I've said many times on this podcast, PRIDE does not turn off merely after the end of June. What started as a riot to get equal rights is now a celebration of the mileage that has gotten the movement to a more normalized place of acceptance. You should always be able to love who you love and be who you are. My podcast is a shining example of love and light, and inclusive safe space for my LGBTQIA+ guests. Pride for me and my allyship is a 365 day a year commitment. HAPPY PRIDE! Do not forget the efforts of those before you, and wear your rainbows and Pride flags proudly.
