We wanna know where the MOST FUN games call home, because we wanna play them, and we might want to invest! To discover this, we've been sitting down with top tier platforms and blockchains to talk about why they could win the web3 gaming race, and we're back with another episode in this series. This time we're looking at Ronin, with special guest Hantao, Cofounder of Moku, and friend of Ronin. We're asking questions like: - how is Ronin forged for gamers in a way the competitors aren't - what the heck is a closed ecosystem - is curation better for gaming than total decentralization? SAGA: Space Arena Ground Arena | A Star Wars:Unlimited Podcast
Summary In this conversation, Banana Crapshoot interviews Bobby Sapphire, a card game champion, about his card game history and his thoughts on the new Star Wars Unlimited card game. They discuss the mechanics of the game, the importance of surrounding oneself with good players, and the evaluation of cards and deck building. Bobby shares his excitement for the potential of the game and highlights specific cards like Jabba the Hutt and the Frontline Shuttle. They also touch on community dynamics and the challenges of evaluating cards in a new game. In this episode, Bobby Sapphire and BananaCrapshoot review several cards from the Star Wars: Destiny game. They discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each card and how they fit into different deck strategies. They also answer listener questions and make an announcement about a new YouTube channel they are starting. Overall, they provide valuable insights into the game and offer recommendations for deck building and gameplay. Takeaways Surrounding oneself with good players and being open-minded to feedback can lead to success in card games. Playing with a process-oriented mindset and focusing on making the right plays can improve gameplay. Evaluation of cards should consider their numbers and potential applications in different situations. The Star Wars Unlimited card game offers unique mechanics and the potential for strategic gameplay. Community dynamics and group think can influence card evaluation and deck building strategies. Wolf, Aggression is a strong card for low-to-the-ground aggro decks and can counter shielded one-drop units. Power of the Dark Side is a powerful card that can eliminate opponent's units and has boosted blue villain control decks into the top tier. Chopper, the Metal Menace is a decent card that can be useful in certain decks, but its Specter restriction limits its versatility. Rally and Cry is a situational card that may be useful in decks with wide boards, but it can be easily countered and is not currently viable in most decks. Alliance Dispatcher is a strong card that can create difficult decisions for opponents and is particularly effective in Luke decks. The most fun and tense non-mirror matches in Star Wars: Destiny are often between aggro and non-aggro decks, such as aggression Leia vs. green Luke. The need for cooking varies among individuals, but some people enjoy cooking while others prefer to have someone else do it. Seeming part 3 of a series in HypnoKink, this is a conversation with Panda, the other half of PandaStory.love. PandaPet (it/they) is a polyamorous pet with a penchant for the use of alliteration. It has been a longstanding member of the New England and DC/NoVa communities, and has taught for a fair number of hypnosis and kink conferences. It co-founded CONsolation (a Discord community that offers kink education) with it's master HypnoStory and partner Yoshi. Unashamedly itself in all things, it is an advocate for the darklings, pets, age players, neurodivergent, and queerdos of our community. Frequently the hypnotee or bottom we talk about a lot of things including: What hypnosis feels like,Common Concerns, Phases of Hypnosis, What a pre-talk is, and how it’s different from negotiation, Safety precautions, Agency, Consent violations and so much more. Around 2013, I completely tapped out my market. I was photographing luxury weddings for $15,000-$20,000 - but could only do 25 a year (due to travel). I was also hosting in-person educational events and creating digital products for other photographers.I wanted to do MORE… but I knew I needed to shift my strategy to scale (because there is only one of me!)So I did a business audit. I'm not gonna lie to you… It wasn't the MOST FUN. You wanna know what IS fun? Running a growing business that serves people well, is profitable, and provides a way for me to sip on frosty beverages on a beach vacation whenever I want to! But the only way to do that was to do a business audit. So I buckled down and did it. Click play to hear the six-step audit framework I've developed and how you can implement it right away… I promise you'll be glad you did! [00:02:18] Why auditing your business strategy is important for long-term growth.[00:04:41] The importance of revisiting your goals and aligning them with your vision.[00:06:44] How to stay ahead of the curve and identify market gaps.[00:09:04] Ways you can leverage team skills, strengths, and interests to meet increased demand.[00:10:12] Tips to improving customer satisfaction through customer feedback and data[00:11:20] How to evaluate expenses and make cost-saving decisions by cross-training team members.[00:12:22] Why you need to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure progress towards goals.[00:14:17] How to create your “Business Strategy Audit Document” to keep all of your decisions in one place.[00:14:30] Three ways to measure the performance of your new business strategy. After you listen to this episode, I encourage you to listen to 8 Mindset Shifts to Transform your Relationship with Money. For complete show notes, visit: https://jasminestar.com/podcast/episode364

It's us! We're back! Well, we've been here – but after a busy few weeks hosting the MOST FUN guests on the show, we're bidding November farewell with just an Aud x Sus episode… but not just any A x S ep. We're changing things up by taking turns interviewing each other so you can get to know each of us even better… And Susannah is the lucky one in the hot seat first this week! If you're new here, Susannah is a brilliant copywriter out of Dallas who is beyond witty, easygoing, and genuine— and she has perfected the art of capturing, polishing, and showcasing her clients' unique voices in a highly strategic yet approachable way. She's a BIG cycle class girly, loves her oat milk lattes, has the cutest dog named Holly, influences her friends (i.e. Audrey) to buy way too many things, can literally read a book in 2 hours, and travels more than anyone… yet doesn't visit Audrey in Northern California NEARLY enough. But we digress… Sus shared so many fun tidbits about her journey from journalist to teacher to copywriter/business owner, what she'd tell others starting their own business, her goals for the next year, tea on her dating life & so many other fun facts and stories! We hope you love this one! Let us know what you think when you listen! Follow Susannah: @susiebhutch / susiebco.com Follow Audrey: @audskelton / audreyjoann.com

As a spiritual CEO for high-achieving business owners, Emma works on the energetic aspects to help her clients shift. In this episode, Emma shares that she's a 12th-generation Quaker (She's even a Quaker minister). Coming from this heritage, Emma was DEEPLY ingrained to give her month away, and not want for much.As a coach struggling to pay her bills, Emma decided that she could not be in her gifts if she couldn't pay her electricity bill! This show chronicles her journey and gives tools for how to break through if you have any issues about being spiritual and wanting to have a lot of money.Like many on this journey, Emma also had people in her life push back on her desire to make a great living. (Maybe you have experienced this as well.)There are many layers to this. First, our identity gets involved. Who are we with money? What would it mean if we stepped out of the level we are at and step into wealth? There is so much work to do here, and you will hear Emma's story of how she broke through this. You will love the story of when Emma was sick, TRUSTED her body's wisdom, and the need to surrender, and brought in $87k by staying in bed!And what kind of permission can we give ourselves? This is a huge one, as many who didn't have exposure to wealth and have been “indoctrinated” to believe that money is bad, how do we give permission to have and be more? We speak a lot about this in this episode. You will hear how Emma has broken free from the old paradigm of struggle and suffering. It's quite empowering!Emma Churchman is a Spiritual CEO and Advisor to business owners seeking to accelerate their income and impact. With immersion for over a decade in study and practice as an Akashic Records practitioner, 20+ years coaching and spiritual advising entrepreneurs, as well 25 years personal experience in entrepreneurism, she's found the game of soul alignment to be the MOST FUN way to grow your business.Emma tripled her business during the global pandemic using soul alignment, and her extraordinary clients and she have generated multiple millions of dollars.Emma's mentoring is grounded in decades of training - she's got two master's degrees in Divinity and Metaphysics, and is a PhD candidate in Conscious Business Ethics. She lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her honey Jeff and their two dachshunds.Reach out to Emma Church to learn about her Abundance by Soul D.E.S.I.G.N. This week's episode is a revisit with one of my favorites, Mike Valdes. As an actor, comedian, and musician, Mike has felt the pressure of creativity in the pandemic. In my first season, we discussed imposter syndrome and the feeling of being other than in the acting world, but this revisit touches on the pandemic and how it's shaped his social life, creativity, and worldview. Mike is still just as funny, cunning, and kind as when our mics crossed paths earlier this year. This podcast is unofficially sponsored by Forbidden Bingo. This week's episode features Jason Marsden, AKA the voice of your childhood. For my listeners who have been here for a while, you know JUST HOW MUCH I LOVE "A GOOFY MOVIE", so to have The Max Goofy on my podcast was a dream come true. Mars has been a voice actor, actor, comedian, and now a variety show host for Mars Presents, where he features the local Nashville culture and scene. Mars was an utter delight to have on the podcast, and I really think this interview "Stands Out", if you know what I mean. Yayoi Shionoiri is an art lawyer that is passionate about the art world and the artists that help create and cultivate it. Yayoi is a kind and compassionate human, who has worked hard to find her footing in her profession and inspires others to do the same. Art law is something beautiful that she has worked hard to cultivate, preserve, and advocate for the collections and artists and estates she helps manage and oversee. Over the course of her career, she has felt imposter syndrome in many facets but has also found clever and vital ways to come into her own strengths, as well as be a beacon and mentor for others. This week's episode features Joseph J Jordan, a UK-Based author, and creative. After a year of trying to get used to the new normal, living in a COVID world Joseph took the leap into the unknown and began a journey that would change his life forever. He first put pen to paper so-to-speak in January 2021 and the story of The British Empire of Magic begun. The story of Prince Jacob living in a world of magic and wonder with his partner Elliot. Jacob has his trust shattered by his mother, the Queen as the return of his oldest friend changes everything when he reveals a shocking truth and the race is on to stop a war that could destroy both the magic and human worlds. Having Prince Jacob the protagonist as a gay man and in a relationship within the story resonated deeply in the LGBTQ community and the importance of inclusion and representation in an 8+/YA/Adult reader base was sadly something very rare within the fantasy genre. This indeed caused imposter syndrome, but also became a champion flame for him to keep writing. Hey! Here's the second repeat guest in the history of my show - not counting like panels and stuff. And I'm glad it's Jeff because he's just one of my favorite people in the world. Remember, I'm a "Recovering Campus Housing Professional," and spent about 20 years living in and managing college residence halls. Jeff was one of my staff members at my very last housing job and was part of what I consider to be my BEST, STRONGEST, and MOST FUN professional staff EVER. I loved each and every one of these amazing people. Fast Forward 7 years later, I'm still working at my post-housing gig which is a HUGE deal for me, and Jeff is a Career Advisor at Chico State University. That's right, I'm still on this Careers-During-Covid-19 thing, but hey - it's absolutely just messing up people's careers right now and I feel the need to talk about it. I think there are definitely things we could all be doing to help people get back to work, and I'm so grateful that Jeff is out there spreading the word. In this episode we talk about the positive soft skills that students (well, anyone for that matter) need to get into the workforce. Jeff shares his theory about how students can get connected into a job right out of college. And he offers three suggestions on how people can keep their heads up high during this time of uncertainty. Now we just need to get Mark Brice and Shawn Brackett on this show, too! While some of the US is reopening and people are going back to work, many of you are still unemployed. If this is you, I have a solution! The Leverage Your Layoff Mastermind Group is a six week program where we discuss career change, pivoting, and figuring how to get back to work ASAP. True to the mastermind format, first you create a goal, then design a plan to achieve it. The group helps you with creative ideas and wise decisions-making. And your first two weeks of the group are FREE - then you can pay what you can for the rest of the program. Go to https://www.krismcpeak.com/layoff to register!
