He is coming off an unprecedented 3 year run, which saw him capture back to back USports National Championships with the UNB Varsity Reds, the second of which included an undefeated 43-0 season, a Gold Medal leading Canada at the U18 Championships, a Gold Medal at the FISU World University Games and a Memorial Cup Championship with the Saint John Sea Dogs.  After 24 seasons leading the University of New Brunswick, which included 9 National Championships, Gardiner is moving on to coach the QMJHL's Moncton Wildcats. He'll be working alongside his son Taylor, who will be the club's General Manager. The Saint John Sea Dogs announced the promotion of St. John's NL born, Travis Crickard to the position of Head Coach for the 2022-23 season on August 10,2022. The video footage in this episode was recorded by #GaleForceWins over 3 days August 2,3 and 4, 2022.Travis Crickard joined the Sea Dogs coaching staff in November 2021 as an assistant coach. The St. John's Newfoundland-born coach won the Memorial Cup with the team. This was his second Memorial Cup appearance.“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity General Manager Trevor Georgie and Owner Scott McCain have given me to be Saint John's Head Coach” said Crickard. “Coming off our Memorial Cup run I look forward to building upon and honouring the Sea Dogs'  success by developing the next wave of Sea Dogs athletes on the ice and young men off the ice. I also endeavour to create a lasting legacy as a community-focused coach.”Since retiring as a player in 2010, Crickard led the Ottawa Jr. 67's U18 AAA team to the Telus Cup final in 2013 and has worked across all three leagues in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). He previously worked with the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League (WHL) as an an assistant coach. In 2015, he won the Ed Chynoweth Cup with the Kelowna Rockets who made it to the Memorial Cup Final before ultimately falling in overtime to the Oshawa Generals. Crickard has also spent time in New Zealand, as the General Manager of the Botany Swarm for three seasons and a one-month coaching internship with the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team, and before joining the Sea Dogs, he served as Head Coach of the Waterloo Wolves U18 AAA team.“Travis was an integral part of our coaching staff that just hoisted the Memorial Cup” said Sea Dogs President and General Manager, Trevor Georgie. “There were a lot of great lessons and experiences for everyone this past season, especially leading into and during the Memorial Cup tournament. We want to continue to build on those experiences and consistency is key to carrying that forward. Travis brings with him not only this past Memorial Cup experience, but many others as part of winning programs in the CHL and internationally. He is smart, prepared, focused, and like our players, he is always looking for opportunities to learn and get better. Today's guest is Michael Campoli, a recent winner of the TV Show Wall of Chefs (Season 2 - Episode 8). Born in Point-Claire, QC., Michael began his college hockey career playing for the Boston College Eagles. After one season in the NCAA, he left to join and captain the Saint John Sea Dogs in the QMJHL until ultimately becoming a McGill Redbird in 2019. During his U Sports career, Michael scored two goals and four assists throughout 28 games. Perhaps his most notable achievement came last week when he was a contestant on the Food Network's TV Show "Wall of Chefs." After completing three unique cooking challenges against four other competitors, the 24-year-old delivered under pressure and won the $10,000 cash grand prize. Michael graduated from McGill (2021) with a degree in Economics and Finance. After his studies were complete, he was offered and accepted a full-time position as a financial advisor for Deloitte. In this episode, we discuss his passion for cooking, experience on the TV show Wall of Chefs, and so much more!

Joe Veleno (born January 13, 2000) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 30th overall by the Red Wings in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. On June 4, 2015, Veleno became the first player from Quebec to be granted "exceptional status" allowing him to play as a 15-year old in major junior hockey[1] which led to him being selected 1st overall in the 2015 QMJHL draft by the Saint John Sea Dogs on June 7, 2015. He is the fifth player to be granted exceptional status, with the preceding four being John Tavares, Aaron Ekblad, Connor McDavid, and Sean Day.

In January 2016, Trevor was named the President of the Saint John Sea Dogs, making him the youngest in the Canadian Hockey League. Later that year he was appointed to the General Manager's role.
