Following the release of the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, which shows Foster wielding Mjolnir and in her costume, Marvel put out a plot synopsis for the Marvel Cinematic Universe film. The plot synopsis officially calls Foster "Mighty Thor." Additionally, the press release for a Marvel Legends figure of Foster's God of Thunder refers to her as "mighty Thor." Both also confirm she indeed wields Mjolnir. You can see images of the Marvel Legends Mighty Thor figure, which ties into the upcoming movie, below. The six-inch figure features four accessories and a Build-a-Figure part. Thor 4 Trailer Features One of the Most Comic Book-Accurate Scenes the MCU's Ever Shot https://www.cbr.com/thor-4-trailer-comics-accurate-mcu-scene-marvel/ Marvel Studios released the first teaser trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, which featured one of the most comics-accurate shots to date in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Shown briefly in the teaser trailer, the shot depicts Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Taika Waititi's Korg standing atop a rock overlooking the corpse of a god who, in the comics, was identified as Falligar the Behemoth and died at the hands of Gorr the God Butcher. While Thor is alone in the comics, the shot from the trailer is an almost exact recreation of a panel that appeared in Thor: God of Thunder Vol. 1 #3 as the third part of the God Butcher arc. Released in December 2012, the issue was written by Jason Aaron, drawn by Esad Ribić and colored by Ive Svorcina. Marvel Sleuths Believe a Character Was Digitally Scrubbed From the Thor 4 Trailer https://www.cbr.com/thor-love-and-thunder-fans-character-scrubbed-trailer/ Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe suspect that a key character has been edited out of the Thor: Love and Thunder teaser trailer. The shot in question appears at the 37-second mark of the video, shortly after the section where the Guardians of the Galaxy are seen leaving Thor and Korg behind on a debris-ridden platform. Many fans have pointed to the framing of the scene, which appears to be too wide to show just two characters. Some are suggesting that the extra length of the frame and the empty space next to Thor is evidence that Marvel Studios has digitally removed a character from the trailer. Nebula's Backstory Would Make Cool Disney+ Show, Says Karen Gillan https://screenrant.com/nebula-marvel-disney-plus-show-backstory-karen-gillan/ Karen Gillan thinks Nebula's backstory would make for a cool Disney+ show after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Marvel Studios received a new path to expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Phase 4 with the launch of Disney's streaming service in 2019. Disney+ has so far been used to elevate supporting characters like Scarlet Witch or Falcon and introduce major new heroes, such as Moon Knight. There are many upcoming MCU Disney+ shows that meet these criteria and explore different corners of the massive franchise. ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' Heads To Summer 2023; Sony Dates ‘Madame Web', ‘Equalizer 3' Among Other Release Changes https://deadline.com/2022/04/spider-man-across-the-spider-verse-summer-2023-theatrical-release-sony-release-date-changes-1235007010/ Sony's animated sequel to the Oscar winning movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is moving from Oct. 7 this year to June 2, 2023. The news is breaking just before the studio's presentation at CinemaCon next week. Meanwhile, the pic's sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part II, is dated for March 29, 2024. After being asked by a fan on Twitter when Moon Knight takes place in the MCU timeline, Slater admitted the lack of a firm premiere date during production forced the creative team to keep the show's place in the timeline unclear. "A lot of people have asked [about when Moon Knight takes place in the MCU], but I have no idea, sorry," Slater wrote. "We didn't know when our show would debut in relation to their other shows and films, so the timeline was intentionally left vague." Tom Hiddleston and ‘Loki' Will Avoid Emmys Mischief by Submitting in These Categories (EXCLUSIVE) https://variety.com/2022/awards/news/tom-hiddleston-loki-emmys-submissions-1235231497/ Hawkeye and Moon Knight are competing as “Limited Series” According to the Television Academy rules and regulations, the criteria to compete in limited series: “The program must tell a complete, non-recurring story, and not have an ongoing storyline or main characters in subsequent seasons.” Aside from “Hawkeye” and “Moon Knight” competing in limited series, Marvel also has the anthology series “What If…?” that was created by A.C. Bradley. However, it will compete for outstanding animated program. Disney+ Working To Restore Access After Episodes Of Original Series Including ‘Agent Carter' Went Missing https://deadline.com/2022/04/disney-plus-restore-access-episodes-original-series-missing-1235005673/ UPDATED: Disney+ subscribers binging series from the streamer's library on Monday discovered that a number of episodes were not available. Affected titles are said to include Duck Tales, Agent Carter, X-Men, Lizzie McGuire, Owl House and Rocket & Groot. Fans took to reddit and other online platforms to share their frustration and also reached out to Disney. Disney+'s response, as relayed by customers online and verified by sources to Deadline, is that the purge of episodes was accidental, due to a technical issue. The company has been working to resolve the glitch and access to the missing episodes is expected to be restored within the hour, I hear. UPDATE 11 AM: I now hear that the fix is taking longer and the MIA episodes may not be fully restored before end of day today. We will update the story when all impacted episodes are back on the service. “We are actively working to resolve the issue impacting access to a subset of series episodes for some Disney+ subscribers,” the company said in a statement to Deadline. “We are sorry for the experience and appreciate everyone's patience.” Netflix rocked by subscriber loss, may offer cheaper ad-supported plans https://www.reuters.com/technology/netflix-subscribers-fall-first-time-decade-forecasts-more-losses-2022-04-19/ INHUMANS Inhumans Star Iwan Rheon Wants to Return to Marvel https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/inhumans-tv-series-return-iwan-rheon-maximus-marvel-cinematic-universe/ At one point in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was limitless potential for the Inhumans, though what was originally conceived to be a movie was reimagined as Marvel's Inhumans TV series, which was met with disappointment from both audiences and critics alike. Even with the underwhelming response to the project, Maximus actor Iwan Rheon would love to continue his journey with the character, though he'd also be happy to take on another role if it meant a return to the MCU in any capacity. Rheon can currently be seen in Barbarians, which is in theaters and On Demand now. "I'll take anything really. I'd love to have another crack at -- I'd love to do Maximus again," Rheon shared with ComicBook.com when discussing how he'd like to return to the MCU. "I think he's a really interesting character. And also I feel a bit sorry for him, because he is just stuck on the Moon still, but yeah, I'd love to do any of that stuff. Anything. I'm not fussy, give me anything." This is the first episode we recorded! We say that a couple times in the length of the episode, I promise, we're not confused. In this episode we talk about the Thor: God of Thunder (Vol 1, Issues 1-11), by Jason Aaron, Esad Ribic, Ive Svorcina, Butch Guice and Dean White. We talk about the first two arcs in this nearly decade long run Aaron commands and his overall impact on the massive mythology that comes with Thor as a character. We talk about the implications laid within the story and the themes communed through GORR THE GOD BUTCHER and his diabolical GOD BOMB. Its a lot of fun. We also talk about how we feel Gorr would be translated onto the big screen as we anticipate Thor: Love and Thunder directed by Taika Waititi. ALL of that and more as we continue to ask the question, Who Watches the Watchers? Follow us on Instagram for the love of god: https://www.instagram.com/comicbookraiders/

Episode 2 coming at you! It's movie trailer day at San Diego Comic Con. JoshDaniels ride solo to discuss the trailers for Aquaman and Shazam. Plus looking at the questions, does the comics culture have any kind of inferiority? And a review of Thor: Goddess of Thunder Vol 1. from Marvel Comics.
Join us at the A-Table for our 48th episode, our third straight foray into the incredible Jason Aaron. He teams with the brilliant Esad Ribic to tell a story from three versions of Thor: younger Thor, current Thor, and older Thor. All three have the same task, which is withstanding unheard of torment from the nemesis of all deities, Gorr the God Butcher. There are also some good tirades thrown in for good measure, as always, and a very special treat from Kyle at the very end!
