The three key takeaways are: What is blockchain and how does it function? What is decentralization, and what are its implications for individuals? What is cryptocurrency, and why is it desirable? What's Old is New Again... Luke and Larry started shooting muzzleloaders back in the past century, fueled somewhat by the "Jeremiah Johnson" movie. Larry started with kits for .50 Hawkens from both CVA and Thompson/Center. Luke followed suit a short time later. From there Larry started hunting with Tony Knight when he first released the revolutionary MK-85 and progressed from there. Around this campfire Luke and Larry talk about the changes they've seen from shooting patched balls and conical in slow-twist barrels to faster twist barrel shooting sabots, as well as going from blackpowder to modern day blackpowder substitutes and along the way tell an interesting anecdote or two.
Tony Knight's come up with a unique way to combine dog training with comedy. He's tapped into talents as 'the dog listener' to create a unique show that he's bringing across from Australia to Auckland on Sunday.
On this episode of The Power of Love Show we welcome special guest, Tony Knight. Tony Knight is an Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, & Rhino Rescue Leader. Tony is admittedly a bit of an idealist and visionary striving to impact positive change for our endangered wildlife and our environment. He does so through radical conscious consumerism and mentoring businesses on how small changes in their daily operations can not only save them money, but also help them free up cashflow which can be allocated towards helping to impact positive change for our animals, our planet and ultimately us & the future generations to come. Tony's career path has been unexpected. He studied Supply Chain Engineering in South Africa and was offered a job with Terex (Construction Machinery engineering) in the UK in 2003. He unexpectedly switched careers in 2005 landing himself in the advertising technology space in London for 5 years before being transferred to Toronto where he eventually started an advertising tech agency in 2010. During these years he was leading wildlife conservation projects in his spare time and leading tourism & travel initiatives to raise funds for the nonprofit projects — specifically rhino rescue projects — he was helping which ultimately lead him to a shift from the for-profit space to the non-profit space. Tony's journey from for-profit to non-profit was not without bumps and bruises along the way. It has been a journey of growth, enlightenment, blood (literally), sweat and tears. This transition started to accelerate after his first visit to Burning Man back in 2015 where he made a radical life decision to take active steps to transform his for-profit businesses into platforms to help fundraise for the wildlife/environmental conservation projects he was actively involved with. This came at a pivotal time when rhino poaching attacks were on the rise in South Africa and having been witness to the brutal suffering and trauma rhinos undergo at the hands of poachers he knew he needed to fully invest himself and his time into nonprofit projects — specifically geared to protect rhinos from poachers. He blended his many years of experience leading wildlife conservation projects, leading tourism & travel initiatives and running an advertising tech company together to make his goal of helping to protect vulnerable animals & wildlife a reality. This lead him to co-founding the Upmost Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization. Episode 12 - End Of Season Special for 2022. In this episode I bring back 3 guests form the year to discuss some of the pertinent topics raised by guests throughout the year. From my very first episode in January, the wonderful actress and great friend, Eva Grzelak. Followed by, from Episode 3, Brisbane based actor and voice over artist (and spider whisperer), Stephen Walker. And last, but certainly not least, from Episode 9, fellow Adelaidaidean, acting teacher and ( I know he doesn't like this word, but I'll say it….. mentor) Tony Knight. In this episode the 'forum' discuss education for late bloomers. This was pretty much the number 1 topic during the year. It seems that late bloomers pretty much rely on the short course and workshop approach to increasing their acting acumen. We also dive into the well-being of all actors around the world, regardless of their age, specifically the ups & downs of an actors journey, the moments where actors start to doubt themselves. I ask each of my guests how they are fairing coming out of the Covid mayhem, and what are their thoughts on how actors can stay positive on this journey?Another big issue raised for actors, is “Creating Your Own Work”. This is discussed a lot in relation to actors getting themselves out there, and also to make something for their show-reels. We have a great chat around the areas of ‘asking' for volunteers to help with such content creation. Is creating your own work completely necessary, a must have, or is it a sometimes things, a once off maybe? And finally, we discuss each of the guests views on something Tony said in his discussion, and that was "the actor finding permission to play." We talk about what each of us do to bring characters to life, to make them real, on stage or on screen. And what barriers make this difficult. Timeless Teachings - Spirituality and Mysticism in Daily Life
How can we integrate business and spirituality? Why decentralised financing and crypto are an important part of the newly created world? Why The Earth is going through a major energetic shift right now and what it means for all of us? Why simplicity, self-sustainability, technology, and community is the future of our society? Tune in and let's find out! ABOUT TONY KNIGHTMy name is Tony Knight (also known as KryptoneKnight) and I am here on Earth to awaken freedom in humanity, through expressing and applying the natural laws of reality to our lives. For the past 25 years I have created my businesses as vehicles in which I can live and work doing what I love, and assisting people to discover themselves in the process. Currently have my own Wholefood & organic sales consultancy called EarthStar, and I also speak, write and teach people how to integrate the natural laws of the universe into our everyday physical lives. I am now reinventing myself as a mentor and teacher on how to be our own banker and get financially free using new technologies known as blockchain, decentralised finance (DeFi) and crypto currency. One of my life tasks has been to decode the world system matrix, and by using the blockchain, we can now create a new economic system based on serving the people and creating universal freedom inside and out. Decentralisation is Kryptonite to the centralised matrix! ABOUT YANA FRYYana has been born into a mystical family and started her conscious journey at the age of 8. In this wonderfully insightful episode, we talk about stage acting and screen acting, do you need both how you can switch between both or come back later, regardless of your where you are in your career. We discuss the benefits of theatre acting, how it can teach you as an actor to know 'styles' and how that can improve you as an actor in all forms. This leads us to discussing how to 'play the moment' in scenes, to make it real and why it's necessary to give yourself permission to 'play'. And we have a strong discussion on how honoring the history of your country and land, especially your local area effects your art and the stories you tell as an actor. If you're keen on training with Tony, he is a lecturer at several Adelaide Schools and also does some online workshops.
