The Abiding Free podcast is an absolute gem! Hosted by Kristin and Shannon, this podcast offers a perfect blend of biblical teaching and real-life examples and discussions. Their personable and relatable approach makes it easy to connect with their message of abiding in Christ. With episodes that are kept at a reasonable length of around 20 minutes, it becomes incredibly consumable for listeners. Overall, I highly recommend this podcast for anyone seeking spiritual growth and encouragement.

One of the best aspects of The Abiding Free podcast is the genuine authenticity exhibited by both Kristin and Shannon. They share their own struggles, victories, and experiences with such vulnerability that it creates an instant connection with the listeners. This transparency allows for a more relatable listening experience, making it easier for listeners to apply the teachings to their own lives. Additionally, the balance between biblical teaching and real-life examples is commendable. The hosts do an excellent job of presenting deep theological concepts in a way that is accessible and applicable to everyday life.

While it's difficult to find any negatives about this podcast, one aspect some may find disappointing is the length of each episode. At around 20 minutes long, some listeners may crave more content or desire a deeper exploration of the topics discussed. However, it's important to note that keeping episodes shorter also makes them more easily digestible for those with limited time or shorter attention spans.

In conclusion, The Abiding Free podcast is an incredible resource for anyone seeking spiritual growth and deeper understanding of what it means to abide in Christ. Kristin and Shannon's heartfelt approach and engaging storytelling make each episode a joy to listen to. Questions that many of us might be afraid to ask but have wondered deep in our heart. And yet He longs for us to draw near to Him! This is an incomprehensible kind of love! It should make us raise our hands and say, who is this incredible God?We will also step into a deeper picture of God's judgement and learn more of the purpose of it, and in fact, we will also talk about why we should celebrate His judgement. Part of God's justice and judgement is bringing in what we can call a "holy tough love" for His people. And this week is also building up to our last two weeks of this series during which we will see one of the most beautiful pictures of God's love in the entire Bible.Don't miss this week as we follow along and learn from this incredible book!Zephaniah Bible Study: Hidden In Him: A Refuge in the Day of Trouble: Nave, Kristin: 9798826207604: Amazon.com: BooksInstagram: @abidingfreeFollow us on FacebookCheck out our Website HEREContact: abidingfree@gmail.com

Some would be hidden in God on that day, some would be preserved despite what was coming. But who? And how?Tune in to find out who was hidden on the day of trouble, and also, how even today WE can also be hidden in God through whatever comes our way.We are so glad you are joining us on this journey through the book of Zephaniah!Zephaniah Bible Study: Hidden In Him: A Refuge in the Day of Trouble: Nave, Kristin: 9798826207604: Amazon.com: BooksInstagram: @abidingfreeFollow us on FacebookCheck out our Website HEREContact: abidingfree@gmail.com

Last week we entered into the story of Zephaniah and learned that God was bringing judgement not just to the surrounding nations, but to God's people. This week we turn to the introduction of the "day of the Lord" and talk about what that means as both a coming day of judgement and salvation. And God had another grievance for His people, in plain language, they wanted to fit in and clothe themselves in worldly attire and attributes rather than be set apart as God's people. They were looking more like the world than the God who choose them.Instead, God has called His people to put on the beautiful garments of salvation and righteousness, because we are His. And wearing these garments of glory should change everything! So come, and continue on this journey with Zephaniah. Zephaniah Bible Study: Hidden In Him: A Refuge in the Day of Trouble: Nave, Kristin: 9798826207604: Amazon.com: BooksInstagram: @abidingfreeFollow us on FacebookCheck out our Website HEREContact: abidingfree@gmail.com

Welcome friends, to our six-week devotional series on the book of Zephaniah! Journey with us in this book, a story of a world that looked much like our own: Crooked political and religious leaders, nations contenting with nations, declining faith, believers looking more like the world than the God who chose them, the worship of money, and so much more...The prophet Zephaniah was called to prophesy of the coming day of trouble and judgement on both God's people and the nations in response to abounding evil. But God was bringing His justice and love, not justice or love. And God's justice shows us just how deep His love truly is. The story of Zephaniah shows us that not only is God working in our waiting, God is working even when He has been completely forgotten. And not only is God working, He is moving ever closer to us- even in our forgetting-sometimes using His hand of discipline to draw us back to Him. And despite the chaos of the world and our own wayward hearts, God will ultimately keep His people hidden in Him in the day of trouble. So come and join us these 6 weeks, and journey with Zephaniah as we learn through this redemptive story that God loves and delights in His people as He draws them to Himself.
