The NCAA Tournament and UC San Diego Starts at 1:00 Michigan is your Big Ten Tournament champions! There was a lot of doom and gloom at the end of the regular season so not many people saw this happening. Michigan might be the most boned team in the tournament draw. Wisconsin is an 18 point favorite against Montana, Michigan is a 3 point favorite over UC San Diego. UCSD is clearly a top 50 team but they can't match up with Michigan's Bigs. Get familiar with the name Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones (in pronunciation and basketball production). The Tritons give up a ton of threes. Yale is a popular upset pick over Texas A&M, TAMU's thing is missing shots but rebounding them. Who would you rather play, TAMU or Yale? That's a tougher question than it would seem. Men's Basketball vs Wisconsin Starts at 32:43 The shooting percentages in this game were... ugly. Wisconsin had good looks but just couldn't hit them. Goldin seemed absolutely gassed this game. L.J. Cason really helped bail out Michigan. Michigan only had eight turnovers! But missed on the boards.  3. Hot Takes and Men's Basketball vs Maryland Starts at 49:43 Takes hotter than your Big Ten Champion Michigan Wolverine Football Basketball team. This is one of the worst officiating games we can remember. Roddy Gayle had a great game... and MADE A THREE. He only had nine points but that level of production is what Michigan needs. The final play was a football play in its design.  4. Men's Basketball vs Purdue Starts at 1:14:01 A nice bounce back game that happens from taking care of the ball. Why does everyone want to kick Goldin in the nuts? Purdue gets more goonish when they're tired and they were coming off a tough game against USC. Michigan wasn't turning the ball over and was assisting well for each other, this was the Dusty May team we love to see. Michigan gets the night game on Thursday and will be played at 5,280 feet. UC San Diego is 29-4 after their 69-51 victory to UC Santa Barbara in the semifinals. The Tritons sit 19-2 in conference. The teams split their two meetings with each winning on the road.

UC San Diego vs. Northridge Profiles UC San Diego at Northridge 10PM ET—UC San Diego improved to 24-4 following their 83-44 home victory to Hawaii. The Tritons are 14-2 in the Big West along with a record of 7-1 on the road. Northridge is 20-7 with their 65-62 road win at UC Davis. The Matadors sit 12-4 in conference and 5-2 at home.

Utah State men's basketball (10-1, 1-0 MW) came up just short in its first loss of the season, falling to UC San Diego 75-73 Tuesday evening in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. In a game which came down to the final buzzer, Utah State led for nearly 25 minutes and maintained control through much of the contest, but a late run from the Tritons made the difference in this one. Utah State will now hit the road for three-straight, beginning on Sunday, Dec. 22, when the Aggies take on Saint Mary's in Moraga, California. Chicago St vs. UC San Diego College Basketball Pick Prediction 3/23/2024 by Tony T. Chicago St vs. UC San Diego 3:30PM ET—CBI game played at Daytona Beach. Chicago St against an independent scheduled were strong on the offensive glass. On defense they forced turnovers and held foes to 32.5% from three. They have won against the NCAA Tournament bound Stetson twice and against Northwestern on the road. UC San Diego were tops in offensive efficiency against the Big West. The Tritons sate ninth in effective field goal defense against the conference by allowing 34.8% from three and 50.9% around the bucket. The Tritons are in poor defensive form as in their past five games allowing 48.2% shooting with the Cougars allowing 42.5%. Play Chicago St +10.

The CVW panel dives quickly into the recap with "The Elephant in the Room" segment that features our Coaches' matches during week 7. Lindenwood got the better end of a match vs. Dan's Flyers, Brad and the Tritons were at the SIAC/Big West Invite in Long Beach, and we discuss Jay's and Theo's wins for the week as well. It was another solid week of action and there still remains one undefeated team at 11-0-- the Lopes of GCU.   We take a peek at some of the top series/matches during week 7, and although there weren't a bunch of surprises one thing does remain clear. If you're not careful anyone can beat anyone on any given night.
