In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures Podcast, I'm sharing the conversation I had with Aaron Prasad a little while ago. Unfortunately, it took a bit of time to get it put out as things got crazy for a short while. Now that things are a bit more normal, I happy to release this conversation and share Aaron's journey as a plant-based athlete, lover of Colombia and all things bikepacking. What initially began as a small cycling adventure has grown into a desire to learn more about the country, continued exploration and the desire to challenge not only the mind, but also the body. In January of 2024, Aaron decided that he would embark on an adventure dubbed the 25x25 project. 2500km with 25,000m of elevation gain riding a huge loop through Colombia. As things got going it slowly morphed into what is now closer to 40x40. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures Podcast, I'm excited to share with you a different type of adventurer. Namely, because she is so young, yet has accomplished some pretty epic adventures. When I first reached out to Scarlet and her dad Flint, they were immediately interested in sharing their journey on the podcast. Between Flint's job as a travelling musician and getting out on bike tours, Scarlet has been travelling and sleeping rough since she was a little baby. After graduating from tow-behind bikes, Scarlett started putting more and more miles into each adventure, having ridden the C&O canal, done a multi-week tour in the UK, and culminated the epicness of her adventures by riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route at the age of 13, beginning in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and ending in New Mexico, USA. Since the early days of Scarlett's bike adventures, this passion for two wheels continues to grow. I hope you enjoy this conversation as I go back and forth between father and daughter to try and catch the essence of their journey. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: Meadow to MountainFind me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsPanorama Cycles --> They believe that cycling is a catalyst for adventures, no matter how small they can be. I this episode of the Bikepack Adventures Podcast, I super excited to have had the opportunity to sit down with Kurt Refsnider, a professional ultra-endurance/backcountry mountain bike legend, record holder, route developer, advocate, cycling coach, geologist and also the co-founder and route director of Bikepacking Roots. If it's something bike related, there is a good chance Kurt has done it or is planning to do it. Some of Kurt's many cycling career highlights include but are not limited to: Winning the ITI, 8 wins and/or records on the AZT 300, 2 wins/records on the AZT 750, winning the Colorado Trail Race, winning the Tour Divide and finishing it 3 times, setting the FKT on the Kokopelli Trail 2 times, and setting the yet to be beaten FKT on the Grand Loop. With countless other adventures and races to his name, Kurt also became the first person to complete the Continental Divide Trail south bound. Kurt has recently finished writing a guidebook with all the important information you might want to know if you decide to take on the daunting Iditarod Trail. In today's episode, Kurt and I take a deep dive into touring this legendary route, going beyond just the gear that might be important to have, but also the preparation, logistics and mindset that you might need to account for. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I record a second episode with Ty Domin as we take a deep dive into bag making. I'm not exactly sure if Ty likes making bags more or riding bikes, but he is pretty passionate about the 2 of them. When Covid locked down the state he was living in in Australia, he, on a whim decided to pull out an old sewing machine and upcycle some old outdoor gear and make himself a bag. As it just so happens, he did a pretty good job, and had a blast. Over the next several years, Ty got more and more into bag making, bought bigger and better machines, and started selling bags to support his addiction, uhhhh, I mean hobby. I'm very stoked to have had a chance to speak with Ty again to learn the ins and outs of bag making, and for putting me on the right track to try something new. I hope you enjoy the episode and if you decide to go out and make a bag after this, feel free to shoot me a picture or send a message. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I catch up with David and Didi mid-tour, while they break for Christmas in Cusco, Peru. I first learned about them quite a while before their adventure started, when they were still in the preparation stages and wanted some advice. Two months ago, David and Didi landed in Colombia to begin what they have dubbed Project Aire Libre, which roughly translates as the Free Air Project. Over the past two months, they have made their way south through Colombia, Ecuador and are now in Peru. Amazingly, David and Didi haven't been following the traditional bicycle touring route through South America, but have been stitching together their route using a variety of roads and trails. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to speak with Chris Lee-Francis. I first interviewed Chris nearly a year ago, but unfortunately, something went wrong with the audio and I was never able to release the episode. Fortunately, in the aftermath of the failed episode, Chris finished his travel memoir, Eastwards and Far and was gracious enough to send me a copy. Chris' story has a certain flow about it, one in which the experienced bike tourer easily relates to and the would be bike tourer can't help but be captivated by. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to speak with Ty Domin. Ty first got on my radar while on his friend Lewis' podcast a couple years back. Since then, I've followed his adventures and now that he's in Western Canada, it seemed like the perfect time to have him come on the show and share his story. When it comes to biking, Ty has really run the gamut, racing everything from road to track to MTB and now Bikepacking. He's also an accomplished bike tourer, or as he would call it, overlander. In 2014, he embarked on a bike tour that lasted roughly 2 years, covering 30,000km and did it again this past year with his wife Chelsea, cycling from Scotland to Turkey and another 10,000km. We didn't dive too much into his bikepack racing and bag making brand Yah Naw Thread Works and will save that for another day. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to speak with Claire Pomykala. When I first came across Claire's journey into bike touring, what really stood out for me is that it all happened so quickly. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures Podcast, I record a Ridecast taking the listener through my Grand Depart FKT on the Canadian Shield 400 bikepacking route. This route takes the rider through the Outaouais and the Lower Laurentian Mountains in Western Quebec. With approximately 6300 metres of elevation gain, this route is about as hard as it gets in the region for a 400km route. Mix in roughly 120km of trails and you've got yourself a magical experience. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsPanorama Cycles --> They believe that cycling is a catalyst for adventures, no matter how small they can be. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures Podcast, I have the chance to speak with Jonathan Roy about his 3 year adventure bike touring the world. Jonathan left his practice as a lawyer to follow a passion for bikes, which ultimately brought him home when COVID closed off the majority of the world and make it too difficult to keep going. This gave Jonathan an opportunity to write a book, sharing his adventures from the saddle. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I connect with Robert Biron, also known as, Salty Beard Bikepacking. Rob has been a lifeline cyclist, being involved in mountain biking in its infancy, racing, commuting, randonneuring and more recently, bikepacking. Over the past few years, Rob has started a YouTube page to share his bikepacking adventures, and has quickly grown a sizeable viewership, as a result of his personality and the authenticity in which his videos are made. More recently, Rob has curated a bikepacking route across, over and around northern Vancouver Island. Throughout this conversation, we touch on lots of different aspects of our lives and involvement in the bikepacking community. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have Matt Kadey on the show to talk about the Great Northern Bikepacking Route. Matt had previously need on the podcast in January 2022, so I would highly encourage you to skip back to Episode 122 if you haven't yet listened to it. In that episode we talk a lot more about bikepacking in Ontario and about his motivations towards route development and creation. In this episode we mostly focus on the GNBR, which, once completely tested and finalized, will most likely be the world's longest bikepacking route, coming in at nearly 15,000km. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I take a little time to record a solo episode where I talk through my recent attempt on the Canadian Shield XL, a 1200km adventure that takes the rider through a large swath of Western Quebec, from the Ouareau Forest to the north of Montreal, all the way up to Mont Laurier in the north, Otter Lake in the West and Chelsea, Quebec in the South. With an elevation gain of approximately 16,000m, but more realistically closer to 20,000m, this route incorporates as much singletrack and forest roads as possible, while also giving opportunities to rest while crushing some rail trail. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, Meaghan and I talk about bikepacking in the Canadian Shield region of Ontario and Quebec. Over the 24 days she spent in the area, Meaghan rode somewhere close to 2000km, riding the Loop des Loups, Canadian Shield 400 and Log Driver's Waltz, setting overall FKTs on the CS400 and Log Driver's Waltz. I was so grateful to have Meaghan as the keynote speaker of the inaugural Canadian Shield Bikepacking Summit, and for all the opportunity to talk about bikes over the 3 weeks she stayed at my house with my family. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Thank you to my newest supporters:Kirby BarneyJeffrey NickersonFrancoise IfranJoin the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/meaghanhackinen/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/meaghanhackinenWebsite: https://meaghanhackinen.com/ Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsPanorama Cycles --> They believe that cycling is a catalyst for adventures, no matter how small they can be. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have the chance to speak with JaBig, while sitting in my backyard watching my dog run circles around us. I had first messaged him a year ago, but he was quite busy and we couldn't make it work. It just so happened that this year we had the chance to connect while he was staying with his sister in Ottawa, before taking on his next challenge cycling from North Cape, Norway to Tarifa, Spain, in a continued effort to fundraise for World Bicycle Relief. With a goal of raising $1 million in his lifetime, JaBig has been taking on some pretty spectacular challenges. In 2017 he cycled 17, 763km across Canada on a fixed gear bike. In 2022 he circum-cycled the lower 48 of the United States, riding 13 255km. JaBig is so much more than a bike tourer. He does an amazing job of blending his life before cycling (BC) where he worked as a DJ in Montreal, Canada with his passion for bikes, often doing guest DJ gigs along the way to raise money for his charity of choice. After our podcast, I rode most of the way back to Ottawa with him and we had a great time chatting and learning more about each other. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I connect with Erik de Brun, one of the founders of Redshift Sports. I'm very excited to have Erik on the show for several reasons. I have been using their products since 2020 when I bikepacked across Western Canada, and have been fortunate enough to be sponsored by them since 2021. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I finally have the opportunity to learn a bit more about Sofiane Sehili. When I first reached out to Sofiane over a year ago, he told me that he's done a ton of podcasts and that he'd be happy to come on the show, so long as our conversation is on something new. After following Sofiane and his partner's adventure throughout SE Asia this past winter, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to have him share his adventure and talk about bike touring during bikepack racing's off-season. Most people will know Sofiane as a Parisian bike courier turned bikepacker, as a racer that has un unnatural ability to stay up for really long periods of time and of course, as a pretty highly regarded singer. What you may not know is that it all started for Sofiane on a bike trip in SE Asia years earlier. This time around he came back so he could share the experience with his partner. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sofianeshl/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/sofiane.shlYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@sofianeshlWebsite: https://sofianesehili.com/Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsRedshift Sports --> Use code BPA15 to save 15% at checkoutRestrap --> Use code BTAPOD10 to save 10% at checkoutChiru BikesBrockton CycleryPanorama CyclesRaceDay Fuel --> Use code BTA10 to save 10% at checkout

In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I had the chance to connect with Jerry Kopack. It's quite interesting, because he had recently been on a couple other podcasts, but I felt that there was so much I still wanted to learn about him, and figured there is no better time than the present. When Jerry first reached out, I thought he just wanted to promote his book, but surprisingly, we didn't talk too much about his book and instead spent our time talking about his journey from working for corporate America, to founding a hospice, to taking off on a 2-month bikepacking trip in Africa, which led to the journey lasting nearly 2 years. With a continual question propelling him forward, Jerry only ever tried to answer the question "Am I using my time well?" In the aftermath of his adventures, Jerry has taken on a role with Warmshowers on the Board of Governors and also as "the finance dude" as a means of giving back to the community that helped change his life. You might also recognize his voice from Bike Life, the Warmshowers podcast, as he has taken on some of the duties to lighten the load of the other host. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I had the opportunity to speak with my cycling coach Peter Glassford. At the Consummate Athlete, the goal is simple; to help people lead their best active, adventurous lives through coaching, videos, podcasts, articles and events. Throughout our conversation, we talk about my own personal journey into bikepacking and what I have created for the greater community, both in terms of the podcast, route-sharing website, my own Grand Depart event and of course my latest endeavour, the Canadian Shield Bikepacking Summit. We then change directions and I throw some questions Peter's way, on things that I am constantly thinking about, such as training, eating, the importance of heart-rate as a means of measuring performance, alcohol, and more. Far from being the usual podcast style you are so used to listening to, I hope you enjoy this conversation with Peter. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to speak with Greg Andre-Barrett, someone who has been on my radar since I saw he was tackling the ONXL. The ONXL is a series of connected bikepacking routes throughout Ontario, which account for over 6000km of predominantly off-road touring. After doing a little more research into Greg, I realized he has bikepacked all over the world, and that he is just an amazing human being. From his volunteer work getting bikes to those less fortunate to volunteering to teach English in poorer countries, Greg still finds time to ride his bike and take on some mighty big challenges. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Greg Andre-BarrettBrian Karbowski (pledge increase)Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gregbikingwithoutborders/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GregBikingWithoutBordersYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@gregbikingwithoutbordersWebsite: https://gregbikingwithoutborders.blog/Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsRedshift Sports --> Use code BPA15 to save 15% at checkoutRestrap --> Use code BTAPOD10 to save 10% at checkoutChiru BikesBrockton CycleryPanorama Cycles --> Use code BTA15 to save 15% on a 2023 Chic-Chocs fatbike at checkoutRaceDay Fuel --> Use code BTA10 to save 10% at checkout
In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to dive deep into cold biking with Doug Dunlop. A veteran winter biker with decades of experience riding in the winter, Doug was one of the first people to reach out with advice when I complained of cold feet this winter when I got a fatbike. Doug has participated in numerous winter biking events, countless overnighters and was also on the start line of the first Iditarod Trail Invitational after it changed from being the Iditabike. Doug is also an advocate for getting children involved in winter exploration and when his children were younger he took them on multiple overnight adventures. He also makes his own custom winter-riding gear which he sells on his site coldbike.com. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, myself and Nathan Starzynski dive into his 15000 km adventure crossing Canada while mostly following the Trans Canada Trail. Funnily enough, about 2 weeks before recording this podcast, Nathan and I had a chance to meet up for coffee in Chelsea, the day before he was going to be catching his flight to Europe to continue with his bicycle world tour. Nathan's cross-Canada adventure is quite unlike any I've heard of before. Rathern than follow the straighter, more common routes across Canada, he decided to more or less follow the TCT, even though it meanders all over the place and would pretty much double his cycling distance to cross Canada. This off-the-beaten-track route across Canada, allowed him to see many amazing sights along the way, which still continually driving him closer to his goal of reaching Cape Spear.Thank you to my latest supporters:Reinhart BiglTo support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nathanstarzynski/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/nathanstarzynskimedia/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@nathanstarzynski Website: http://nathanstarzynski.com/Strava: https://www.strava.com/athletes/11931386Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsRedshift Sports --> Use code BPA15 to save 15% at checkoutRestrap --> Use code BTAPOD10 to save 10% at checkoutChiru BikesBrockton CycleryPanorama Cycles --> Use code BTA15 to save 15% on a 2023 Chic-Chocs fatbike at checkoutRaceDay Fuel --> Use code BTA10 to save 10% at checkout
In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to talk with Richard Cohen. Richard has a really interesting story as he is a retired Canadian Air Force fighter pilot, that got back into mountain biking as so many of us do in their late 20s or early 30s. Through that journey he discovered fatbiking and is constantly pushing himself to take on greater challenges. With the ultimate goal of participating in the Iditarod Trail Invitational in Alaska, he has taken part in a several different fatbike races in the US, ridden the Route Blanch in Eastern Quebec as an unsupported Individual Time Trial and is continually exploring ways of refining his winter riding skills. I hope you enjoy this episode and get as much out of it as I know I did.To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures Club Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsRedshift Sports --> Use code BPA15 to save 15% at checkoutRestrap --> Use code BTAPOD10 to save 10% at checkoutChiru BikesBrockton CycleryPanorama Cycles --> Use code BTA15 to save 15% on a 2023 Chic-Chocs fatbike at checkoutRaceDay Fuel --> Use code BTA10 to save 10% at checkout

In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I finally get a chance to chat with Marie-Pierre Savard. Marie-Pierre has been an adventure bike enthusiast for over 10 years. It all started with her first extreme solo trip to Central Asia and since then, her way of thinking outside the box guides the decisions of her big and small adventures! In August 2020, she was the first cyclist to ride Gatineau to Percé on the Quebec Bikepacking Traverse. She is also the instigator of Les Fines Garnottes, a women's, trans and non-binary gravel and adventure bike collective based in Montreal. In 2022 she rode the Huracan 300 in Florida as training for The Log Driver's Waltz Grand-Départ, where she set the new women's FKT. Even with her bikepacking experience in more than a dozen countries, mostly riding solo, Marie-Pierre sees herself as an adventurer more than an athlete, where achievement and experience is more important than performance. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mariepierresavard/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mariepierre.savard.3 Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsRedshift Sports --> Use code BPA15 to save 15% at checkoutRestrap --> Use code BTAPOD10 to save 10% at checkoutChiru BikesBrockton CycleryPanorama Cycles --> Use code BTA15 to save 15% on a 2023 Chic-Chocs fatbike at checkoutRaceDay Fuel --> Use code BTA10 to save 10% at checkout
In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I share a conversation I had with Gene Villeneuve, an Ottawa based cyclist that I've slowly got to know over the past few years since moving back to Canada. Surprisingly, due to our busy lives, this is the first time Gene and I have had the opportunity to really sit back and talk one-on-one. As a life-long cyclist Gene shares his views on environmentalism, the cycling community, and of course, his own personal journey from a more traditional road cyclist and mountain biker to delving into the world of gravel biking, bikepacking and cyclocross. Although this conversation is a little different than most of my podcasts, I hope you enjoy the simplicity of the conversation and the sharing of a journey. In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have a chance to speak with Samuel Lalonde-Markon and Simon-Pierre Goneau. In the winter of 2023, Simon-Pierre and Samuel will attempt to cross the entire province of Quebec from south to north, by bike and ski. A 2725 km journey that will hopefully be finished in around 100 days that will lead them to cross the Hudson Bay coastal ice pack. With 1475km of winter cycling and 1250km of cross-country skiing, this expedition will definitely put them to the test. Samuel has previously completed two crossings of Quebec as part of his TransTaiga Expedition using a combination of bicycle and canoe. SImon-Pierre had previously completed the cycling portion of the Transboreal as part of his Expedition Quebec Plein-Nord, but was stopped in 2020 through a combination of the Covid pandemic and bad weather conditions. In today's discussion we talk about cycling in winter, their previous expeditions, their lives growing up and how they ended up deciding to take on this challenge together. To support the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, follow the links below:https://www.patreon.com/biketouradventures orhttps://www.paypal.com/paypalme/biketouradventures Join the RideWithGPS Bikepack Adventures ClubFind them at:Instagram: Facebook: YouTube: Website: Find me at…WEBSITEYOUTUBEFACEBOOKINSTAGRAMITUNESShow SponsorsRedshift Sports --> Use code BPA15 to save 15% at checkoutRestrap --> Use code BTAPOD10 to save 10% at checkoutChiru BikesBrockton CycleryPanorama Cycles --> Use code BTA15 to save 15% on a 2023 Chic-Chocs fatbike at checkoutRaceDay Fuel --> Use code BTA10 to save 10% at checkout

In this episode of the Bike Tour Adventures podcast I have the chance to connect with Lovisa Tillgren. Lovisa got her start to bike touring while backbacking through Guatemala when she decided it would be more fun on a bike. Selling most of her gear and strapping what was left onto the bike led to a multitude of adventures and challenges. When the Corona Pandemic shuttered international travel, she went back to Sweden to build a new touring rig and plan her next adventure. Having now travelled throughout Europe crossed N. America and cycled the length of Central America, Lovisa is back to figuring out the next stage of her adventure. In this episode of the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, Kyle Henning and I speak about his first experience bike touring, which, surprisingly, was from the lowest point to the highest point in Africa. We also talk about some of the various volunteer programs that Americans can work in such as Americorps and the Peace Corps, what it's like to live in Ethiopia for 2 years and really dive into cycling through the region he worked. Ten years after his first adventure, Kyle wrote a book called, "From Afar: One man's human-powered adventure from the lowest point on the African continent to the summit of its highest mountain." All proceeds from sales of the book are going to be split between two charitable organizations: one in the USA and one in Ethiopia where he used to live. More recently, Kyle and a friend have started a long-term project that they call the Low to High Challenge, with the goal of visiting all the islands in the world with a mountain of 3000 metres or higher and riding from the lowest point on the island and getting all the way to the summit of the highest point. In this episode of the Bike Tour Adventures podcast I have the chance to speak with Marc and Heather, creators and directors of the 8 Hours of Hurtin' in Haliburton gravel bike race. I first got to know Marc a few years back when I first heard about the race. Unfortunately, at the time I missed the registration and couldn't participate. Then Covid came and made everything harder yet. In this episode of the Bike Tour Adventures podcast I have the chance to catch up with Cory Ostertag. As a life-long cyclist, Cory has run the gamut. From mountain biking to Cat 2 road bike racing, it was inevitable that Cory would at some point get involved in bikepack racing. Although new to the sport, Cory has done exceptionally well over the past two seasons, finishing 2nd in the 2021 iteration of the BC Epic, and taking the overall wins in 2022 riding the Buckshot and BC Epic and setting an impressive new FKT on the Log Drivers Waltz. In this episode of the Bike Tour Adventures podcast, I have a chance to talk with Sheelagh Daly. Working in the Toronto bike industry, being an avid bike traveller, nutritionist and YouTube content creator, it was great to sit back and hear her story. Throughout this talk, I learned how Sheelagh jumped head-first into touring by cycling from Scotland to Croatia. We also talked about cycling nutrition, not just for traditional touring, but also bikepacking and bikepack racing. Finally, we touched on what it's like working in the cycling industry.
