This week on Paranormal Activity: Monday Mailtime, Producer Dom dives into two deeply unsettling listener encounters that don't just feel paranormal… they feel deliberate.First, Tom shares something that began not on his travels across South America, but weeks before he even left the UK. The same dream, repeating. The same square, the same tile, the same pull toward a turning he couldn't bring himself to take. Until he arrived in Cusco… and found every detail already waiting for him. Exactly as he'd seen it. And then it happened again in La Paz. And now, months later, back home — the dream has returned. But this time, the location is somewhere new. Somewhere he hasn't been yet. Then, Hannah recounts a quiet afternoon alone at the British Museum that became something far harder to explain. Standing before a display of fragments linked to the Book of Enoch, the room sealed itself of sound, a page moved without being touched, and the text she had been reading… changed. A line she has never been able to find in any translation, in any archive, anywhere: "To be seen is to be chosen."These aren't your typical ghost stories. No apparitions. No cold spots. No sudden crashes in the night.Instead, something far more unsettling: foreknowledge, recognition, and the creeping sense that something ancient is still very much paying attention to who comes looking. What happens when the paranormal doesn't haunt a place… but uses it?And what does it mean when you're shown something that isn't supposed to exist anymore?Producer Dom reacts, unpacks, and explores the deeper theories behind these encounters.Where precognition, forbidden texts, and forces far older than either traveller may have stepped directly into their path. Not by accident, but by design.A Create Podcast Hosted on Acast.
We went to Peru expecting magic. We didn't expect it to prove itself this hard.In Part 2 of our Peru recap, we walk through Day 1 of our spiritual tour through Cusco — and the ancient sites kept showing up with undeniable energy. From the impossible megalithic stones of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground chamber at Kenko where our entire group saw the same thing with their physical eyes, to a spirit dog who adopted us for miles then disappeared exactly when he was supposed to.This isn't a travel vlog. This is what happens when ancient magic refuses to let you not believe. We cover:Tambomachay sacred fountains (still flowing, still active)Kenko underground temple — what we ALL sawSacsayhuaman — the earth that held usThe Sun Temple built inside a Spanish cathedralWhy Peru feels like it's still alive
April has felt… cursed. And honestly, we can't ignore it anymore. From everything going wrong to what happened on the plane (yes… including a broken bra strap at the worst possible moment), we started wondering if this month is just chaotic—or if something bigger is going on. In this episode, we talk through the strange run of events this April, the upcoming Saturn–Mars conjunction, and whether astrology might actually explain the patterns we're seeing. We also share a few other moments that made us question what's happening… before diving into our Peru trip and how the experience felt in Cusco and Machu Picchu.Join our new LIVE show, The Alchemist's Inkspill, each Friday at 1pmEST/10am PST on YouTube and Instagram Live!Follow The Alchemist's Inkwell on:● YouTube● Instagram● TiktokFollow Emily: Patreon: https://patreon.com/likerofwordsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/likerofwordsYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LikerOfWordsBluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/likerofwords.bsky.socialWebsite (join the mailing list!): https://www.emilydexterpsychic.com/Follow KristaLyn: Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/kristalynsofiaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/kristalynsofia/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@KristaLynSofia Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/kristalynsofia.bsky.social Website (join the mailing list!): https://www.kristalynsofia.com/Keywords: Peru, Machu Picchu, ancient temples, spiritual practices, Inca, Quechua, sacred sites, ayahuasca, sacred energy, travel magic

Empires self-identify by anchoring themselves to monuments and locations. The Aztecs had Tenochtitlan. The Incas had Cusco. Rome had its “eternal city.” When those centers fell, their worlds unraveled. The Jewish people lost Jerusalem twice — and endured. The secret was planted earlier, in the wilderness: a sanctuary built to move, and a holiness that refused to stay put.

Hola mi gente! Today we are going to read, translate and listen about the Christmas in some Latin American countries and we are going to listen some interesting facts and traditions. I will be reading in Spanish very slowly and you will try to understand word by word. You will be learning some interesting words and new vocabulary and also you will be improving your listening skills in Spanish. I will translate the song in English and then read in Spanish again in a normal speed but explaining some words at the same time.. Además, es una preparación especial para el Desfile de Navidad Anual My new Youtube channel: Spanish with Dennishttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQVuRUMQGwtzBIp1YAImQFQMy new Discord server and chat and you can already join and write to me there:https://discord.gg/HWGrnmTmyCMy new Telegram channel and you can already join and write to me or comment there:https://t.me/SpanishwithDennisJoin my Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/spanishwithdennisSupport me by joining my podcasts supporter club on Spreaker:https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/slow-spanish-language--5613080/supportDonate with Boosty:https://boosty.to/spanishwithdennis/donateDonate with Donation Alerts:https://www.donationalerts.com/r/dennisespinosaDonate with Crypto currency:Bitcoin (BTC)1DioiGPAQ6yYbEgcxEFRxWm5hZJcfLG9V6USDT (ERC20)0xeb8f678c0b8d37b639579662bf653be762e60855USDT (TRC20)TXoQwsaiTGBpWVkyeigApLT8xC82rQwRCNEthereum (ETH)0xeb8f678c0b8d37b639579662bf653be762e60855If you have any other suggestions or recommendations on what other platform you can support me and my podcasts, please let me know. This month on Unpacked, we're diving into Afar's just-released Where to Go list—but this year's picks are different. In 2026, we want to lessen the burden on overtouristed destinations and expand visitation to other parts of the world. Our editors carefully selected 24 emerging regions and overlooked locales that will inspire your next great adventure. For Peru, that means looking beyond Machu Picchu and Cusco to discover what lies south—a region of white volcanic cities, canyons twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, and a food scene that rivals Lima's in flavor (if not fame). In this episode, host Aislyn Greene talks with Mark Johanson, a Chile-based travel writer and author of Mars on Earth: Wanderings in the World's Driest Desert. Mark recently explored southern Peru—from the gleaming colonial streets of Arequipa to the condor-filled skies above the Colca Canyon—and found a landscape rich with adventure, history, and some of the heartiest food in the Andes. The Sacsayhuamán stones sit above Cusco like a quiet dare—massive, irregular blocks weighing tens to over a hundred tons, locked together with unnerving precision and no mortar. Their tight seams, strange angles, and earthquake-proof design make the whole site feel less like a ruin and more like a message from a civilization that knew exactly what it was doing. Even now, no one can fully explain how the Incas shaped and moved stones this huge. Sacsayhuamán remains one of the most enigmatic constructions on the planet—an ancient feat that refuses to give up its secrets.-----------------Head to the Strange Places home website, asylum817.com to keep up with all things Strange Places, as well as the host. My guest today on the Online for Authors podcast is Wendy Dale, owner of Memoir Writing for Geniuses and author of The Memoir Engineering System. We are chatting about writing memoirs. Ever hear the phrase “Just write” or “Write a crappy first draft”? Author Wendy Dale is leading a revolution to destroy this common writing maxim. What should you do instead? Make your first draft your final draft. She believes that crafting a memoir is like learning any other skill. No one would hand a person a flute and tell them, “Just play until you figure it out.” Instead, you need to learn the concepts that go into crafting a great memoir. Wendy spent fifteen years reading thousands of imperfect manuscripts in order to figure out the components that make all memoirs work. The result is the book The Memoir Engineering System, which was just published, January 2025! Wendy is also creating the world's first reality show for writers, “Write or Flight,” based in Peru. Wendy is a seasoned memoir-writing coach whose clients have come from Entertainment Weekly, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Simon & Schuster, Seal Press, Wiley, NBC, National Geographic Wild, and Nickelodeon. The author of the memoir Avoiding Prison and Other Noble Vacation Goals (Three Rivers Press/Penguin Random House), Wendy lives with her husband and two bunnies in Cusco, Peru. ¡Allinllachu! This episode features a Quechua-language conversation with Cristopher Vargas, a Cusco-based Quechua translator and storyteller who dubs well-known anime and films into Quechua on TikTok and YouTube. He was one of the young fellows of the 2025 National Geographic Photo Camp in Washington, D.C., and later joined Professor Odi Gonzales's Quechua classes at NYU's Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS). His work is part of a growing movement of Quechua language revitalization and cultural reclamation among younger generations in the Andes and across the diaspora. More and more, youth are using social media and digital platforms to promote and circulate Quechua and other forms of Andean knowledge. Film dubbing has become a powerful strategy within this movement, raising key questions about copyright, translation ethics, language preservation, and cultural identity. It also underscores the urgent need for Indigenous communities--especially children and youth--to access media in their own languages. Thank you for tuning in to the Kuskalla Podcast.
