Stan D. Gaede (Ph.D., Vanderbilt) is currently Scholar in Residence at Gordon College, Wenham, MA, after completing ten years of service as President and Provost at Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA. He is a past professor of sociology at Gordon College. Gaede is the author of numerous books and articles; is a frequent speaker at colleges, conferences and churches; and has been a regular speaker in chapel at both Gordon and Westmont. Mitchell received his M.A. from Wheaton College, and a Ph.D. from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, where his concentration was Historical Theology.Christopher W. Mitchell is Director of the Marion E. Wade Center and holds the Marion E. Wade Chair of Christian Thought, at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. In addition to serving as the Director of the Wade Center and teaching theology, Mitchell serves as Book Review Editor for Seven: An Anglo-American Literary Review, a journal published annually by the Wade Center on its seven authors.

Reed and Steve Jolley serve as pastors of Santa Barbara Community Church with the primary responsibility of preaching / teaching, discipleship and leadership.

Curtis Paul DeYoung is Professor of Reconciliation Studies at Bethel University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, He has degrees from University of Saint Thomas, Howard University, and Anderson University. Prior to his current position, he worked for many years in urban multicultural settings in Minneapolis, New York City, and Washington, DC.

John Charlton Polkinghorn is an English theoretical physicist, theologian, writer, and Anglican priest. He was professor of Mathematical physics at the University of Cambridge from 1968 to 1979, when he resigned his chair to study for the priesthood, becoming an ordained Anglican priest in 1982. He served as the president of Queens' College, Cambridge from 1988 until 1996. Polkinghorne is the author of five books on physics, and 26 on the relationship between science and religion; his publications include The Quantum World (1989), Quantum Physics and Theology: An Unexpected Kinship (2005) and Exploring Reality: The Intertwining of Science and Religion (2007). The Polkinghorne Reader (edited by Thomas Jay Oord) provides key excerpts from Polkinghorne's most influential books. He was knighted in 1997 and in 2002 received the £1 million Templeton Prize, awarded for exceptional contributions to affirming life's spiritual dimension.

Ron Sider is known worldwide for providing leadership to the movement of evangelicals who recognize not just the spiritual, but also the social and political implications of a high view of Scripture. His book Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger was lauded by Christianity Today as being among the top 100 books in religion in the 20th century and the seventh most influential book in the evangelical world in the last 50 years. In the 1970s, Dr. Sider played a key role in the drafting of the historic Chicago Declaration, which helped set the direction for evangelicals concerned about the Bible's social implications. He is the founder of Evangelicals for Social Action (ESA), which for more than three decades has provided an organizational outlet for Christians committed to holistic ministry. ESA is now a part of the Sider Center on Ministry and Public Policy at Palmer Seminary. An ordained minister in the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ Churches, Ron has lectured at numerous educational institutions, including Yale, Harvard, Princeton and Oxford.

Mr. Rick Ifland is a Westmont College graduate from the class of 1983. He is the Managing Partner at Titus Equity Partners LLC. He is based at the Lexington office of the firm. Mr. Ifland has more than 20 years of experience growing organizations and people in a variety of leadership positions ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Previously, he was active as a Managing Partner at Atera Partners. Mr. Ifland was responsible for overseeing all investments, consulting, and operations of the various domestic and international business entities under management or contract. Prior to this, he was the sole Owner of Ifland Credit Services. Mr. Ifland was the Executive in charge of business operations for the 650 employees in 19 offices nationwide; for all financial and technical functions including automation and artificial intelligence; and for customer relationship management for the company’s nationwide base of 5000 clients including banks and mortgage companies. He holds an M.B.A. degree.

Francis is the founding pastor of Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, California, and is the founder of Eternity Bible College. He also sits on the board of directors of Children’s Hunger Fund and World Impact.

- Dave is the President and Co-founder of Not For Sale. His “tripolar” background in education, investment banking and journalism give Dave the experience and vision to tackle human trafficking from every angle and drive the organization forward at an unprecedented pace. Dave has authored five books, is the recipient of two national journalist awards, and was named National Endowment for the Humanities Chair at the University of San Francisco for his work in technology and ethics. He is currently a professor in the School of Management at the University of San Francisco. Today Dave leads the strategic and financial opportunities at Not For Sale, guides the team towards the organizational mission. David received his B.A. with a major in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara. After studying for a year at the International Baptist Seminary in Ruschlikon Switzerland, he finished his M.Div. at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley. He remained in Berkeley to complete the doctorate program at the Graduate Theological Union. Following graduation, he taught at the GTU for three years. He then took up a faculty post at USF in 1994. In 1998-1999 he was named National Endowment for the Humanities Chair at USF for his work in technology and ethics.

As Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students, Jane Hideko Higa oversees all of the Student Life programs and personnel at Westmont College. She has held several leadership roles in the student development profession: chair for the Commission of Chief Student Development Officers for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), member of the Racial Harmony Commission for the CCCU, and Vice President and President Elect for the Association of Christians in Student Development (ACSD). She has either chaired or served as a member of various audits and program reviews in Christian Colleges across the nation. She has also servedas a member of an accreditation sitevisit under the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Jane was the Dean for Student Affairs at Biola University in La Mirada, CA, for seven years and was the Dean of Women in the 1980’s for two years. Previously she worked at the University of Southern California (USC) as Associate Director of Residential Life and Director of Resident Student Development. Thirty years ago, she began her career in higher education as Head Resident at USC. A graduate of Westmont College and a recipient of the prestigious Kenneth M. Monroe Award, Dean Higa earned a Master of Science in Education with a major in College Student Personnel Services from USC. Jane’s son and daughter, are both graduates of Westmont College.

As senior pastor of Community Covenant Church in Goleta, Dennis Wadley and his wife, Susan, started Bridges of Hope International in 2002. A year later, they moved their family to South Africa to create an effective and reproducible model of holistic community development in areas ravaged by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. This model has now been adopted in communities in South Africa and Swaziland. The Wadleys plan to return to Santa Barbara in 2008 to direct Bridges of Hope.

Rev. Dr. Charles H. Kraft is an American anthropologist and linguist whose work since the early 1980s has focused on inner healing and spiritual warfare. He is the Sun-Hee Kwak Professor of Anthropology and Intercultural Communication in the School of Intercultural Studies, Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, teaching primarily in the school's spiritual dynamics concentration. He joined Fuller's faculty in 1969. In the 1950s he served as a Brethren missionary in northern Nigeria. He has been a professor of African languages at Michigan State University and UCLA, and taught anthropology part-time at Biola University. He holds a BA from Wheaton College, a BD from Ashland Theological Seminary, and a PhD from the Hartford Seminary Foundation.

C. Douglas McConnell assumed the role of provost and senior vice president of Fuller on July 1, 2011. He joined Fuller in 1999 as associate professor of leadership and was then named dean of the School of Intercultural Studies in 2003, a position he held until his appointment as provost. Dr. McConnell earned his undergraduate degree and teaching credentials at California State University, San Bernardino. He completed his MA in Missiology in 1985 and PhD in Intercultural Studies in 1992 at Fuller.

Shirley Mullen is currently the President of Houghton College. She previously was the Provost at Westmont College, a position that she held from 2002 until 2006. While at Westmont she received the Outstanding Teacher Award three times. She has also held positions in a multitude of organizations, including being president of the Conference on Faith and history. She is a well published author, both having written her own book, as well as having authored articles in several Christian journals.

Richard Twiss is a Native American educator and author. He is a member of the Sicangu Lakota Oyate from the Rosebud Lakota Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. He is the Co-Founder and President of Wiconi International (Wee-choe'-nee is Lakota for "life"). In 1972, Twiss was a participant in the forced occupation of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Building in Washington, D.C., with the radical political group, the American Indian Movement or "AIM." Twiss later became a Christian minister, author, and public speaker. He and his wife Katherine (married 1976), have four grown sons, and they currently have been residing in Vancouver, Washington since 1981. Richard's father, Franklin "Buster" Twiss was an enrolled member of the Pine Ridge Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. He was a SFC Army veteran, was born on May 7, 1927.

Randy has been involved in ministry since graduating from the first class of Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1980.

Marilyn Laszlo spent 25 years in Hauna, Papua New Guinea, with Wycliffe Bible Translators, creating an alphabet for an unwritten language, translating the Bible and teaching people to read and write. She speaks frequently, sharing her story as well as the work of Wycliffe. A graduate of Bryan College in Tennessee, she studied linguistics at the University of Oklahoma. Her video, ‚úReturn to Hauna,‚ù won the Angel Award in 1999.

Pastor Carol A. Houston ministers in the Watts community of Los Angeles, California. With a passion for winning souls and empowering disciples of Jesus, she has served as Senior Pastor of Bethel Unspeakable Joy Christian Fellowship Church, Inc. for fifteen years.Pastor Carol received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver where she also taught Physical Education and Recreation. For eight years she was a secondary school educator in the City of Compton, California. Her postgraduate studies include Physical Education and Recreation, Gerontology, Educational Administration, Speech Communication and Theology.Pastor Carol serves as trustee of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California and Helping Hands, Inc. in Garden Grove, California. She ministers in many areas and has blessed the Body of Christ through her teaching. As Jesus did with His twelve, Pastor Carol is committed to empowering her team of twelve to win souls and make disciples.

Georges Houssney– Lebanese born, is Author of “Engaging Islam” and Director of Horizons International in Boulder, Colorado, an organization dedicated to sharing the gospel of Christ in the Muslim world, and to international students in Boulder, Colorado and other US campuses in several states.

Peter Hiett, a dynamic and gifted preacher, is senior pastor of Lookout Mountain Community Church in Golden, Colorado. He and his wife, Susan, have four children; Jonathan, Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Coleman.

Kathy Noling is one of the Chaplains at Azusa Pacific University. Kathy received her bachelors degree in Political Science from San Diego State University, her Masters degree in Communications from Cal State Fullerton University, and a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Kathy has been the Director of Women’s Ministry at Presbyterian Church in Danville, a Bible Instructor at San Ramon Valley Christian Academy, the Associate Campus Pastor at Westmont College from 2001-2004, Director of Central Coast Extension Studies at Fuller Seminary, and the Director of Pastoral Care at Forest Home Christian Conference Center. She is also on the Board of Directors for Crisis Pregnancy Center, Women’s Ministry Institute, and Bay Area Women in Leadership.
