    51. Why Your Fitness Routine May Not Be Sticking

    51. Why Your Fitness Routine May Not Be Sticking It's the first week in a LONG time that I am solo on the podcast. I have been loving all of the guests that I have had on and am so thankful for our connections and great conversations. Make sure to check back on some of the past episodes to see what you've missed! Today I am diving into WHY your fitness routine may not be sticking. Are you someone that set a New Years Goal or Intentions that was related to fitness. Check in with your self- how are you doing with that goal or intention now that we are almost into March? SO often we set unrealistic goals for ourselves, especially when it comes to our health and fitness. Today I am breaking down why your goal may not be progressing and how to kick things back into gear in a way that sticks and that you want to continue on with lifelong. Yes, really. You can achieve your fitness goals and want to continue progressing and living that lifestyle! You can find me on IG @caroline_prestano. I also share a ton of freebie information (fitness and nutrition related) on my website and blog www.presthelimit.com As I mention in this episode, if you are struggling to find the workouts you enjoy or struggling to fit them into your current lifestyle and schedule, send me a message! We CAN make this work and I would love to help you out.

This week I have Kathryn Benko on the podcast as a guest. Kathryn and I connected through a podcasters group and quickly found that we have a lot in common! Kathryn is a first time Mama of a 6 month old little boy, a business owner, a wife and fitness enthusiast. Kathryn runs Sole Fitness out of her house as well as online. She is also the host of The Heart and Sole Podcast. Today, Kathryn and I chat all about life as a business owner and a Mom. We touch on this expectation vs. reality as well as giving ourselves grace. It is SO easy to say that we need to give ourselves grace but actually doing it is the tricky part. Kathryn shares about the transition of becoming a new Mom while also figuring out maternity leave as a business owner and how she and her husband navigate both working from home with a little one. Kathryn also shares more about her postpartum journey and the experience of trying to do some exercises that were once routine that are now a challenge as the body heals. I feel like lots of Mamas can relate to this; I know I could! I hope that you guys enjoy this conversation between 2 Mamas just chatting all about the wild transition that is motherhood, figuring out time for ourselves, prioritizing our own fitness routines, being business owners, and just wearing all the hats.
