We cannot think of a better way of closing our second season than with a special Sebastian Vettel episode. This week Rhianna & Jess chat about all of the highs and lows the four-time world champion experienced. We will be taking a dive into his pre F1 history along with his journey from BMW all the way through to Aston Martin. We will also share our favourite memories of him to celebrate his contribution to F1. Danke Seb!We will be back on January 10th for our third season!

It's the moment you've all been waiting for, our 2022 season round up! This episode Rhianna, Amy & Jess rank who we thought put in the best performance (and the worst) throughout the season along with comparing our pre season prediction from March. There's also some juicy news that has broken since the last race so there are lots of talking points after the final race! 

We're all very sad here at The F1 Girls that this will be our last race review for a while but we've still got so much to talk about! This week Rhianna, Amy and Jess chat about all the new driver seat confirmations, the final battles that were won at Abu Dhabi and discuss some of the biggest achievements of the season. Don't worry we still have lots of content coming over the winter break so don't go anywhere!

 For the first time ever we had a sprint weekend where each day was actually exciting! There is so much to unpack this episode such as K Mag's pole, K Mag's DNF, the Max and Lewis incident and of course the team orders… Red Bull weren't the only ones playing that game. What It's Actually Like To Be A Female F1 FanWe are celebrating our own women's week here at The F1 Girls! Rhianna and Jess get real with about the demands of being a female F1 fan and working in a content creator environment. They share their personal stories along with other documented female experiences. We hope this episode can help comfort women going through the same thing and help men see a different perspective they may not of been aware of.

The Mexican GP is always highly anticipated with so many festivities over the race weekend. Unfortunately, this did not apply to the race as it was arguably one of the more boring races of the season. HOWEVER… Rhianna, Amy and Jess still have so much to talk about: The recent RedBull Penalty, the Ted Kravitz drama,  Gasly's penalty points, Riccardo's big penalty and of course Mercs questionable tyre strategy. It is worth tuning in for! 

We're going in for a second round of USA action here at the COTA track, Texas. This weekend did not disappoint in the slightest! We saw 4 fresh new faces in FP1 along with returner Giovinazzi and Sainz took his 3rd pole of the year. From then on it was a series of unfortunate events with Sainz going from P1 to P20 in a matter of seconds, 2 safety cars, a mega crash between Alonso and Stroll plus finally a painful pitstop for championship winner Verstappen. Rhianna, Amy and Jess chat about all of these series of unfortunate occurrences along with all the latest news from the paddock.

Max Verstappen has now been crowned a two time world champion but it's been an unconventional road to this success. After many years in karting the young Max Verstappen was fast tracked from Formula 3 to Formula 1 a few days after his 17th birthday. This week we discuss how the youngest race winner in history made his way through F1 to be the top driver at the current top team on the grid. Both his championships are surrounded in controversy after race director decisions and now cost cap regulations. This episode you can hear our opinions on if we think he deserves to keep either of his championship wins.

This season blessed us with another eventful race with a lot to unpack. The obvious being Verstappen winning the World Drivers Championship and you could tell how disappointed Leclerc and Perez were at the end of this race. This week Rhianna and Jess chat all about the weather, DNFs and amazing battles that we saw in the short 40min race. They also highlight what people will be fighting for over the last few races of the season.

We are finally back racing in Singapore after 2 long years and everything is just as we remember. This track will always guarantee a safety car and it did exactly that with a staggering 6 DNF's. This race didn't go well for most people so Amy, Rhianna & Jess chat all about what went very right and what went very wrong for some teams and drivers. The race win for Perez has now also been confirmed, is this his best win yet? Listen to find out our thoughts! 

We are very excited to welcome Samantha Leeks as our special guest for this episode. Samantha is currently a Composite Technician for Penske Motorsport and worked a long stint in F1 in teams such as Red Bull Racing and Alfa Romeo. In this episode Samantha shares her motorsport journey with us along with insights and advice on breaking into the industry. There has always been a great deal of pressure and buzz surrounding the son of the 7 time world champion and since his debut in 2021 Mick Schumacher has tried to forge his own path in Formula 1. Off the back of the success of his Formula 2 Championship win things looked promising for the young rookie. Unfortunately, he was faced with an uncompetitive car in his first season and struggled to match the pace of his teammate this year. His next battle seems to be whether he will even have a seat for the 2023 season. Rhianna, Amy and Jess dive into this early career and his F1 performance to analyse how he got to this tough point in his career. Do we think he'll be here next year? Listen to find out…

 Ferrari's special weekend did not go completely the way they hoped. After a strong qualifying session from Leclerc fans remained hopeful for another Monza win however after some safety car chaos we were all left a little deflated. Rhianna and Jess chat all about what tire strategy we thought worked best, De Vries' debut performance and of course those who navigated their way through the DRS train to some serious points. You can also hear our thoughts on if the final safety car should have been a red flag. 

Max got a warm reception as usual as we approached the second race of the triple header. Mercedes and Ferrari both showed brilliant potential over practise and qualifying which looked like a challenge to RedBull however it didn't quite pan out that way. This episode Rhianna and Jess chat about the latest news on Piastri's announcement, Ferrari's ongoing circus of mistakes, Mercedes pit strategy and everything in between.  It was nice to know there would be 0% chance of rain this Grand Prix so we were already off to a good start. RedBull seemed to be on another level performance wise this weekend despite receiving grid penalties. Most of the grid saw a further performance deficit to them which have put them nearly in reach of securing the championship. Ferrari are the only ones who can get remotely close to them however with their internal strategy conflicts it's looking less likely they'll become a threat again. Are RedBull now unstoppable? It's that time of year again where it's time to reassess our predictions. A lot has changed since Bahrain meaning Rhianna and Jess get very honest with their opinions on the season so far. In this episode we ask the all important questions such as can Ferrari sort out their strategy? Will McLaren or   Alpine be best of the rest? Will Perez place higher than Sainz? The RedBull Ring is a beautiful track surrounded by amazing scenery however some not so pretty things occurred this race weekend. We saw clouds of orange smoke, engine fires, faulty throttles and stationary vehicles. Mixed in with some abusive attendees and you have a health and safety nightmare. We are finally back in Australia after 2 long years and what a crowd to welcome us back. Albert Park looks a little different since we last saw it with many adjustments to make the track faster. Although this weekend was slow in a few places it wasn't short of action with multiple red and yellow flags. Things are moving fast in F1 as we're already on the second race of the season and we are back in Saudi Arabia. The penultimate race in 2021, which Jeddah hosted, got very heated between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton with the race seeing multiple DNF's. This was replicated by the mass of crashes and technical issues drivers had this race weekend. We saw an unlikely pole-sitter and some brilliantly close racing between Max and Charles. We have finally reached the last race… and what a race that was. It looked like Verstappen had the upper hand after qualifying however Hamilton, as usual, got a killer start which turned things around. In the penultimate race, the F1 circus took to the streets of Saudi Arabia for the first GP held in the country. Amy and Rhianna talk through the track, the dangers that were highlighted across a number of incidents during the race weekend.Pit tactics came into play again this race, in particular at the start of the race following a Yellow Flag, which quickly became a Red Flag, followed by a very interesting restart which led to another Red Flag...!!This was also another race where Verstappen and Hamilton collided, again under controversial circumstances, which Amy and Rhianna chat through.With only one race left to go, who is going to be heading home with the 2021 title?! 

With Amy out this week, Rhianna is joined by Harry Roberts who has previously joined the chat!This F1 circus headed to Qatar for the 3rd to last race of the season. This is the first time that F1 has raced in the State of Qatar and Rhianna and Harry discuss their thoughts on the newest addition to the calendar, the circuit itself, what team it suited best and more.They discuss the relationship between Toto Wolff and Christian Horner, the Team Principles of Mercedes and Red Bull respectively, which was on full display at the Thursday press conference when they were interviewed together. Before diving into Sunday's race, Rhianna and Harry chat qualifying, which resulted in three, somewhat controversial, penalties for three drivers.There's only two races left before the 2021 Champion is crowned and its still too close to call so make sure you join us, you don't want to miss a thing!

The Brazilian GP at Interlagos may be knowing as a 'Red Bull Track' but the 2021 season has been throwing all our usual predictions out the window! Rhianna and Amy chat about all the controversial topics that occurred over the race weekend such as Hamilton's disqualification, Max's 50k fine and the two championship rival's battle which raised a few eyebrows. The girls also get to the core questions that everyone wants to know: Do we actually like sprint races? Why was Giovinazzi was replaced? And the most important, who do we think will win the championship! As we draw closer to the last few races there is still no clear victor for both the drivers and constructors championships so stay tuned to her our thoughts on the rest of the season. After a short break, Rhianna and Amy are back with not one but two races to chat about. The championship resumed in Austin, Texas at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) before moving on to Mexico City.It's still nail bitingly tight at the top of the Drivers Championship and there are plenty of battles taking place throughout the Constructors Championship too. The F1 circus moved to Sochi, Russia this week with Max Verstappen starting at the back of the grid following his penalty at Monza, plus a penalty for installing a new engine. He wasn't the only one incurring grid penalties this week (making qualifying interesting) with a front three no one could have predicted!The race on Sunday also took some twists and turns thanks to pit strategies, battles throughout the field and unexpected rain making an appearance in the last six laps which left one driver heartbroken after being so close to victory. With no race last weekend, Amy and Rhianna dive into Silly Season aka all the musical chairs that take place as drivers move teams, retire or are let go. This week's race seen the F1 drivers and teams head to the Temple of Speed for the Italian GP in Monza. With another sprint qualifying, to determine where everyone would start for Sunday's race, there was another interesting grid line up.There was also a number of DNFs from drivers who either barely managed to do five laps, to those that spectacularly crashed out - adding another twist to the championship standings. But, this week was all about one Australian,  his teammate and team - McLaren took over Monza! The girls also chat about team tactics, if the FIA have to reconsider some rules, the halo working again, whose seats might be in jeopardy and more. This week seen Formula One return to the Netherlands for the first time since 1985!Amy and Rhianna chat about the pressure, in a sea of orange, on Max at the Circuit Zandvoort, his second home race (he was born in Belgium but races under Dutch nationality).They also cover qualifying surprises, both good and bad, Kimi being out due to COVID and who replaced him, the pit strategies of different teams and what this meant, start issues, Bottas' role in the race, the battle between Norris and Perez, plus off tack issues for Haas with Schumacher and Mazepin.Next week sees us heading back to Italy for the second time this season, with the Monza GP!
