According to Kirk, problem was that when he tried to offer her a ride and apologize, Masumi couldn't understand him because she didn't speak much English. While she was a little banged up from getting swiped by his work truck, witnesses saw Masumi get into his truck on her own. She was never seen again.

George Allen can be accounted among them, but only after he served 30 years for a crime he did not commit against Mary Bell.
