So another day another announcement! Star Wars is really good at bringing projects to the table, only to die a slow death... BUT! This new Star Wars trilogy announced by Disney and Lucasfilm created by X-men franchise Simon Kinberg may see the light before any other "announced" Star Wars movies... Is this the line in the sand between Star Wars fans and Disney? We have so much to talk about, Skeleton Crew, Andor season 2 and just like the title says... The death of Star Wars as we know it... Join the conversation because this one is going to be exciting! or devastating! lol! Another Star Wars limited series season has come to a close. The greatly-anticipated Ahsoka is now in the books. Or on the screen, as it were. What did The Guys think about it? Did it stand up to Andor? To Obi-Wan? To the Mandalorians? It seems that is yet to be determined. Okay, they do have opinions and those opinions vary. There were some great moments and there were some that maybe could have been left on the proverbial cutting-room floor. And a few others added in their place. Or maybe it's just because Jay and Art didn't watch the 29+ episodes of Clone Wars and Rebels that would've helped them understand. Listen to see what The Guys think, then feel free to form your own opinions! Meanwhile, we hear about what Captain Picard is writing about these days, where Disney is letting some of those other Star Wars properties loose on - gasp - “free” channels, and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to embrace your inner ogre.

"Like a surgeon" Rich and Katrina adeptly go about hacking into the five parody paragons of Hot Shots, Space balls, Monty Python, Airplane and Weird. "Tis but a scratch," Rich says when Katrina metaphorically nicks him. She then sympathetically offers, "May the Schwartz be with you." The producers both roll their eyes whispering off camera, "Surely you can't be serious? Another Star Wars reference?" "I am serious. And don't call me Shirley."

Another Star Wars episode! The first video episode! And into the New Year as well. One of the most prominent, best and most popular characters in Star Wars is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Listen (and watch!) us talk about the history of the character as we go through his life, and the shows we see him in. To end the conversation, we finish with talking about the new Kenobi series and what we thought about it.

Join us as we get philosophical about the nature of good and evil (no, seriously) while we discuss two Jim Henson classics: THE DARK CRYSTAL (1982) and LABYRINTH (1986), starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.
Join us to celebrate Ray Harryhausen's career capstone CLASH OF THE TITANS (1981) as well as John Boorman's heavy metal/folk horror version of the legend of King Arthur, EXCALIBUR (1981).
Another Star Wars installment brought to you by Disney. Obi-Wan Kenobi fills us in on his time after Revenge of the Sith. Is this series better or worse than Boba Fett? Instagram & Twitter: @wrmacast E-mail: drunkcop.ateacher@gmail.com
We bring the Star Wars series to a close with the He-Man movie that is not a He-Man movie, MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (1987), the animated grotesquerie STARCHASER: THE LEGEND OF ORIN (1985), and Mel Brooks's masterpiece, SPACEBALLS (1987).
We revel in the Amblin-esque tale of a boy recruited for a space war in THE LAST STARFIGHTER (1984) and then go deep into the fantastic world of David Lynch's DUNE (1984).
The quest for another Star Wars gets weird as we look at early 80s 3-D boom film SPACEHUNTER: ADVENTURES IN THE FORBIDDEN ZONE (1983), Stewart Raffill's off-the-wall comedy THE ICE PIRATES (1984), and Shaw Bros. insane sci-fi/comedy/kungfu/thriller/monster/musical/romance film TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR (1983). And yes, we promise that last film is Star Wars related.
Break out your swords and loincloths as Chris and Rob argue the merits of the Glaive in the science-fantasy film KRULL (1983) and discuss the goofy charm of Antonio Margheriti's YOR, THE HUNTER FROM THE FUTURE (1983).
This week we argue the merits of the Roger Corman produced BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS (1980) before moving on to the inimitable THE MAN WHO SAVES THE WORLD (1982), also known as TURKISH STAR WARS.
Before Disney bought Star Wars, they tried to make their own. Join us as we discuss The Black Hole (1979) and Tron (1982).
We veer off the normal Star Wars path to look at three films from 1979 whose trajectory was altered by Lucas's success: Alien, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and Moonraker.
Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon inspired the creation of Star Wars whose success gave both stories a new lease on life. We discuss tv's swinging BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY (1979) and the cosmic joy that is FLASH GORDON (1980).
We have our brains fried by Count Zarth Arn in Starcrash (1978), The Humanoid (1979) starring Richard Kiel (Jaws in the James Bond series) in the title role, and H.G. Wells' The Shape of Things to Come (1979) with Jack Palance.

And also thanks to Sean, we are doing them in chronological order this time around, by starting with the first of the prequels! The time has finally come. The moment is finally here. Our entire lives had lead up to this - OUR ETERNALS EPISODE. Eternals finally debuted in the United States this past weekend and despite the spoilers we've endured leading up to the movie (thanks Variety), and the negative critic reviews (you guys need to stop being so rude) - we absolutely adored this film and are already counting down the days until the next installment. Please do not listen to this episode if you haven't seen the movie. There are many spoilers. We ain't sorry about it. Amongst the Eternals deep dive, we do jump into a lot out other nerdy rumors hitting the town right now. Another Star Wars film delayed? We will get to see a beloved Knights of the Old Republic movie after all (fingers crossed) ? A Black Widow crossover with Stranger Things? Daylight savings time did happen this past Saturday and it looks like it stirred up a lot! Maybe we are all in our own version of the multiverse now....
