After a wee hiatus, we're back in time for International Rugby. We look ahead to the Autumn Internationals… or the Spring Internationals… depending on which hemisphere your face is currently in. Massive clashes are brewing, and we're here to talk an Olympic-sized pile of rugby rubbish. Expect rugby chat, tangents, and at least one moment where we forget what game we were even talking about. Grab a beer and enjoy.

Gareth, Lauren and former Wales wing Alex Cuthbert are joined by Wales Head Coach Steve Tandy after he announces his squad for the Autumn Internationals
This week we go over Friday night's 7-try, 49-point dismantling of Gloucester under the lights and in front of the baying crowd at Kingsholm. We regained the Rifles Cup with another warrior-like performance of grit and graft but also sprinkled some fantastic handling and offloading. Despite our injury woes if felt a bit like the Bears Way in its full glory. Not only did the frenetic nature of the game help last minute loanee and former fan favourite Toby Fricker shrug off his stag do hangover, but it also allowed Mattias Moroni to get over his jet lag having, flown into Bristol on the red eye earlier in the week. However, in young Sam Worsley we had a bone fide Academy player who definitely came of age delivering a high class performance and becoming the first Bristol player to kick seven conversions in a Prem rugby match. We went with Gloucester-supporting Lewis who was supposed to join us tonight but he has unsurprisingly cried off, but we do hear from his Dad Steve who was the Gloucester team doctor back in the day of Mike Teague and the like.3 wins out of 4 is a pretty good return give the injuries but we have a final challenge down the road before the Autumn Internationals ‘literally' kick in. Given that Bath lost to Tigers, are we heading towards an epic backlash or should we go with some extra confidence given that our recent performance history has been pretty good there? We hear from Bath fans, Tom Dabs and Matt Price who gives thir thoughts. Either way you can be sure that the likes of Gengey, Dunnie and Kloska will be ready for them. All this and more with Pete, Miles and Lee in rugby union's only lock-in pod down at the Bristol Beer Factory Taproom.Chapter markers are avaible again!Let us know what you think!
This week on The Rugby Pod, the lads send their thoughts and support following the very emotional news as England legend Lewis Moody reveals his MND diagnosis. Everyone on the Pod wishes him, and his family the very best during this very tough time, and we're here to support in any way we can. On the pitch, the lads react to the news that Steve Diamond sacked by the Newcastle Red Bulls, with Gregor Townsend joining in a surprise advisor role. We also break down the action from the Rugby Championship and what it means for the upcoming Autumn Internationals. Can Scotland finally beat the All Blacks? Can Ireland back up their Chicago heroics? Will England perform. Plus, there's a full round-up of the URC and Prem, with the Dragons finally breaking their losing streak, Leinster slipping again, and Saracens running riot. Plus, the lads give a big shoutout to Rugby FC for a brilliant day out. Settle back, enjoy, and make sure you're subscribed on Spotify. Learn more about your ad choices. With the Autumn Internationals done and dusted its back to the league clashes as Max's Bristol Bears put on a delicious display or running rugby to outshine Joe Marler on his big day.But what about the build up, how do rugby players get ready for such big matches? Nandos? Did you say Nandos? In any case the game was amazing but what happened between Gabi Ibitoye and Joe Marler? We break down a fabulous contest at the Stoop. We also put the final test match between Ireland and Australia under the microscope. Have Ireland peaked? Who was the Wallabies Man of Tour? Can Prendergast and Crowley ever emulate Johnny Sexton? Do Ireland deserve to make up the bulk of the Lions? Questions that need to be answered. Then it's onto a round up of the Premiership with some big couple of results while over in the URC, Edinburgh almost blow a 35 point lead... Plus friend of the show Adam Hastings suffers a nasty injury, which makes us sad. Then the big one.... It's the Maul or Nothing Champions Cup Preview and there are some seriously tasty ties to look ahead to... From a biased perspective none more so than Bristol vs Leinster where the boys will finally be reunited. We even have a chance to discuss the RFU Bill Sweeney pay scandal.Lots of lols and lots of love for listening and watching. We love you! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This week on the KOKO Show the lads are coming to you from the billionaire's backyard, Monaco. In a nation known for its tangy tax breaks, OTT opulence and a general intolerance for Aussie ‘riff raff', there are four bog standard blokes with no voices, peaking anxiety levels and rented tuxedos leaving their mark on this really tidy town. We are in Prince Albert's country for the World Rugby Awards and after dragging Holiday Swoop away from the open bar, Drew away from stalking Dupont and putting Goit's shirt back on for the red carpet, we found ourselves just a little sliver of time to bring you a truly luxe podcasting presentation of perfection. As the Autumn Internationals come to close with only one match remaining next weekend, with the Aussies taking on the Irish, we give you a full breakdown of all the action from week three of the November Test Match madness. Moreover, despite the panel being down in the dumps after watching the Wallabies' Grand Slam hopes get murdered at Murrayfield, we run through all the ins and outs of Scotland's sublime sinking of HMAS ‘Schmidt Hot' and how the Aussies will bounce back against the Irish. Plus, we will give you a little taste of all the matches from across the weekend, as well as all the winners and grinners from World Rugby's night of nights. I mean it aint the Logies or the RSL's mega meat tray raffle, but Monaco is pretty cool I guess. So, get yourself squared away as we bring you MYER's first Monaco mixed bag Match Fit and some seriously sensational ‘Super Sizzlers' brought to you by BeefEater and Appliances Online. This show will certainly bring you vacay vibes, as boys go full ‘maxo relaxo' in the middle of the Med. Despite our show standing out like dogs balls in such a serene setting, we promise to deliver you a demure dictation of the most distinguished debauchery in all of rugby.
