Bring Jesus to work, He's already on the clock. He's already present in your workplace, already at work in the hearts and lives of your coworkers. You simply get to join Him in that work, representing Him well through your hands, your words, and your presence. When we see our workplace as sacred space, our perspective shifts—our desk becomes an altar, our meetings become ministry, and our excellence becomes worship. Every task, no matter how mundane, carries eternal significance when done for Christ.
John 2:5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” It seems obvious that Mary had some responsibility at the wedding that involved the serving of the wine. It was probably an act of love for dear family friends. Giving directions such as this indicates she had some jurisdiction over the servants. At this point, she introduced Jesus into the situation and gave Him jurisdiction over them. As we live to love with Jesus, that's what we are to do in every situation. We recognize that He has jurisdiction, the right to speak, over our lives. You'll notice, that's exactly what she did. She gave Jesus the right to speak to the servants. As we go through each day, I encourage us to look to Christ, expecting Him to speak into our lives and into the lives of those we encounter. We can see from Mary's directions to the servants that she fully expected Jesus to speak and act. That's faith in action. Let's be encouraged by Mary's example. She loved her friends and hosts, the servants, and the guests at the wedding by bringing Jesus into the situation. That's what living to love with Jesus is. It's faith at work through love. We also can bring Jesus into every situation and relationship by recognizing His presence. He lives in us. We believe He will provide the grace needed in the moment, just as Mary did. I also am encouraged to have an attitude of attentiveness and obedience to Jesus and His word. When we read the Bible, we are paying attention to what Jesus says. The Word of God, applied to our lives by the Holy Spirit, is the same as listening to Jesus speak. Our response should be to do what we hear. I'm reminded of Jesus' comment about who His family is. It's recorded in Luke 8:21. “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Like the servants, don't we want to listen to whatever Jesus says and do it? So, our encouragement today is to have the same attitudes Mary and the servants had. Bring Jesus into every situation. Listen to Him, and then do what we hear. That describes well the live to love with Jesus adventure. Pay attention and obey. I invite you to become a partner in our ministry. Would you pray about becoming a regular supporter of Elijah Ministries and the Live to Love with Jesus ministry? I hope you will receive the joy and benefit of “giving it forward,” so others may receive encouragement to turn their hearts to God and to live to love with Jesus. Be Bold!Deuteronomy 31:7-8 “Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel: “Be strong and bold, for you are the one who will go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their ancestors to give them; and you will put them in possession of it. It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”I thought it was interesting that this was a verse that I read this morning. Yesterday at prayer group, we stayed after and did our monthly bookmark meeting. What this means is that we take a look at the bookmark for the month, and we each say what stands out to us. The bookmark is the discerned word for a particular month. Each week at prayer group, we get several words of prophecy from the Lord. We record these words that are given, and there is a team that discerns the words given and picks one: Call, Proclamation, Promise, and Directive for the month. One of our members then types them up and puts them on a bookmark so we can share them with the entire prayer group.Yesterday we did the bookmark from February 2023. That was almost a year ago, and yet the bookmark was similar to the words that we received yesterday. For the most part, the Lord is not saying new things to us. He is saying the same things we have heard time and time again. Sometimes, He says those things in a new way, and sometimes, He uses very similar words. What is striking to me today is how this passage says, “Be strong and bold,” and this is the same thing He was telling us last February and the same thing He told us yesterday. In the February bookmark, the Lord said, “Do all to make me known and proclaim my Name. Be bold and step out. Serve me with all you are each and every day. Go now. Do not delay.” The passage talks about being strong and bold so they can take over the promised land. The passage in the bookmark talks about being bold so we can proclaim the Lord's name. The apostles prayed for this boldness to preach the word of the Lord at a time when it was very dangerous to preach about Jesus. In Acts 4, Peter and John talk to people about Jesus and His resurrection. The rulers, elders, and scribes didn't like what they were teaching, and they threatened Peter and John as to what would happen to them if they didn't stop talking about Jesus.Instead of cowering and obeying when they were told to stop talking about Jesus, they prayed for more boldness to do it anyway. Acts 4:29-31 says, “And now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” When they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.” They asked for boldness, and they were given it. It is the same for us. All we need to do is ask. God is calling us to be bold in our faith. We sometimes worry that we will be alone in this boldness. Sometimes, it can feel like it is us against the world, and when we think about being brave, we aren't sure we can do it.In the verse above Moses reminds Joshua that God will be with Him when they go into the promised land. It says, “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” This is reminding Joshua that God will not let them down. He is reminding them that they do not have anything to be afraid of. It is not up to them to defeat the enemy. God will be with them, and He will help them! In the February bookmark, before God told us to be bold, he reminded us, “I am the Lord of the universe.”God is not calling us to be bold on our own. He is right there with us. He goes before us to prepare the way. For instance, if God is calling you to be bold and step out in faith and pray over someone, then He has already prepared that person's heart to accept that prayer. If God is asking you to be brave and ask for something then He has already softened hearts and prepared them for you. God says 365 times in the Bible, some version of “do not be afraid.” This is another way to say, “Be bold.”My friend Peggy at prayer group yesterday was saying she has learned to be bold just by hearing the title of this podcast. She said it reminds her that she can be bold with Jesus by her side. She said she has gotten much bolder since listening. She gets a daily devotional from another friend of ours. She forwards it to many people. She was brave and took a step in faith and gave her grandson a Max Lucado book called “Fearless.” She wasn't sure how he would respond. He is a teenager and, in the past, has been resistant to faith. However, recently he said he has been reading the Bible. She took this book off of her shelf and said she thought he might like it and gave it to him. Her grandson sent her a text message when he got back home to FL saying that he read the book the entire plane ride and he really liked it.Do you see how God works? He is helping us to be brave by preparing those we encounter to receive us. I don't think that means it will always work out as well as it did when Peggy gave her grandson the book. We may encounter some opposition when we step out in faith. We may encounter some people who say no to what we are asking. That is ok. The apostles saw this too. Our job is not to allow these times when people say no to deter us from our mission. That mission is the same for each one of us. That mission is for us to bring the love of Jesus to each and every person that we meet. We can do this because we have Jesus. He is on our side! He is leading the way. Be bold and step out in faith. Bring Jesus' love to someone you know and love today!Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless each and every person listening. Lord, help us to be brave. Help us to look for opportunities to share your love with others, and then give us the courage to do so. We love you, Lord, and we ask this in accordance with your will and in Jesus' holy name. Amen!Thank you so much for joining me on this journey to walk boldly with Jesus. I hope over these last two and a half years of listening you have been able to walk a bit more boldly in your faith. I look forward to seeing you here again on Monday. Remember, Jesus loves you, and so do I! Have a blessed day!Today's Word from the Lord is, “Do not let the news of the times you live in wear you down, upset you, depress you. I am a God of victory. I have conquered all by giving my life on the cross and allowing the gift of my Father to raise me from the dead. A gift that He has given you through me. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid no matter what things look like, no matter how they feel. Trust, Trust in me. Trust in the Father's tremendous love for all of you and for all of His creation. Trust in the power that can be given to you through the Holy Spirit. Continue daily, daily, every moment you breathe to worship, to praise, to adore, for we are your God, One in three. Happy Solemnity of the Annunciation! Today, we celebrate the moment the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, and she said “yes” to bringing Jesus into the world. Mary is the new Ark of the Covenant—carrying within her the High Priest, the Bread of Life, and the fulfillment of the Law. But this feast isn't just about Mary's role—it's about ours too. When we receive Jesus in the Eucharist, we are called to bring Him into the world. Where is God inviting you to carry His presence, even in silence? Join us as we reflect on the beauty of the Annunciation, the significance of the Ark of the Covenant, and our own mission to bring Christ into the world. Jesus wants to to make things better for us, to bless you and me in abundance, but we must invite Him in to do so. How short sighted are we to only ask for his help when we are desperate and not to invite him in all things! Whatever you are willing to bring to Him, however unimportant or mundane, He will transform. So make a “new year resolution” to bring Jesus into it, whatever you do in your daily lives. Welcome to this year's Christmas episode! This isn't a business-related podcast today—it's a fun, friend-to-friend chat with plenty of practical ideas to help you enjoy the Christmas holiday season. We're talking about Christmas tradition ideas, both with and without kids, and specifically ways to bring God more into the season. I've got seven tradition ideas to share, and I'll talk about each one based on things like how old your kids are or whether you have kids at all. For context, I have two kids, and my oldest is almost three and a half, so that's the age range I have in mind for some of these. But many of them work really well for older kids or even just for you and your whole family. This episode is filled with inspiration for making the holiday season more intentional, joyful, and Christ-centered. Whether you're a parent, a couple, or celebrating solo, you'll find ideas to bring new life to your Christmas traditions.Links mentioned: Read the full shownotes (with all the links!): https://elizabethmccravy.com/296 Shop Showit Website Templates: https://elizabethmccravy.com/shop Not sure which template is right for you? What do you know about the Freemasons? Many might recognize it as one of the oldest and largest secret societies in the world with millions of members. On the surface, it's an innocent brotherhood that forges connections and gives back to the community. What many don't realize is that this secrecy and deception conceals how their oaths of death and ideologies can bind you to something unknown and against God. In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, Amy from Eyes on the Right sheds light on secret societies, the oaths and rituals used in Freemasonry and the ideologies they follow. We also talk about the power of words and how these vows can bind us to evil instead of God. Most important of all, we dive into how we can break free from these bindings, renounce evil, and find freedom through our One True God.Join us in our journey as we try to understand and become aware of how the enemy works through secret societies, oaths, and bindings. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Learn more about secret societies, Freemasons, and how they can deceive you.Understand the impact of your actions and words on who you dedicate your mind, body, and soul to.Find out how you can seek forgiveness and freedom with God's guidance.ResourcesMore from the Revelations Podcast: Website | Instagram | Apple PodcastHidden in Plain Sight: How Satan Manipulates Society Through Occult Symbolism (Ft. Through prayer, they were able to cut these strings attached to her.More and more people are starting to understand Freemasonry. It is important to understand it, research your lineage, and seek it out with the Holy Spirit and your family.Freemasonry is one of the oldest and largest worldwide secret societies requiring vows and oaths to keep their secrets and supposedly has at least 3 million members. It is a brotherhood for men and presents itself as a resource, a way to connect, or a place to belong. It attracts people because it is a way to get power, fame, and fortune as they move up the brotherhood. Many people believe that the Masons are a resurrected society of the Knights Templar.[10:59] Understanding the Ideologies in FreemasonryThere are two paths to Freemasonry, the Scottish Rite and the York Rite. Additionally, there are three initial levels to move up through before choosing their path. Each level involves a vow and ritual. However, what many don't understand is that these are binding you to an evil spirit that is not of the Lord. [14:47] Amy: “When you realize that your words have power and there's something that you're covenanting to, that you're yoking to by invoking this, that is where it gets really powerful and really spiritual really quick,” Amy says these vows and oaths are deceptive, violent, and gruesome. They are not just connected to the physical realm but also to the spiritual realm, bringing illness. There are many other offshoot masonic organizations. For example, the Shriners are the Islamic expression of Freemasonry[18:30] Recognizing Symbolism in FreemasonryThe Freemason symbol is two compasses, one pointing up and the other down, with a big “G” in the middle. At its core, these symbols present the duality of the feminine and masculine while the “G” in the center is the idea of a generative organ and is about fertility. The Shriners and the Fez tie into ancient Egyptian religions. The four books that the Masons study, the Qur'an, Torah, Vedas, and the Bible blend the different religions. Many people join and participate because they don't see deeper into the deception. Others are pursuing the fame, power, prestige, and connections the society brings.Part of the deception is worshiping whatever god they want. They do not see Jesus as the one true God.[25:15] Masonic Symbolism All Around UsMany celebrities, historical figures, and popular people were Freemasons. The secret society is deeply a part of America's history. The masonic symbols are like a calling card or signature that tells others that the Freemasons are involved. The number 33 is also symbolic. It represents the 33 vertebrae in the body and symbolizes enlightenment or ascending from the dark into the light. Many areas of the world are more aware of this secret society and its spiritual warfare. It is time for us, Western Christians to look at it with a bigger lens.If you're not sure, look at the manual and the oaths and vows that they take. Bring Jesus into the conversation and do your research. Above all, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and reveal the truth.[32:57] Jesus, Our Advocate for FreedomReagan shares how she met a girl in Haiti who had received Christ but was dedicated to Satan as a baby. She was chained to this oath and it took a lot of people and prayer to break her chains. It's important to understand that there are consequences to your actions and what you invoke. However, Jesus is our advocate. He heals and sanctifies us so that we can be free.[35:40] Amy: “If we can really get people to understand your self-will and your choices and what you choose to do and open the door to. You will reap the consequences of that. But Jesus is so good to heal us and sanctify us and pull up those hidden little things for us to address so we can truly be progressively sanctified, delivered, set free.” Some Christians wrongly think that once they believe, they are free. However, it's still up to you to lock out evil and decide that Jesus and His salvation are what you want.[38:27] Purging the Enemy's Stronghold in YouSometimes, we give the devil access to our lives through our actions and choices. To start, ask the Lord to reveal these openings including a history of Freemasonry. Pray to the Holy Spirit, talk to your family, and look around the house. God will reveal it.Make a spiritual inventory. List potential strongholds to help you go through and realize what access was given to the devil. This allows you to be intentional in prayer.Look for patterns in your family such as disease, divorce, or more. Pray and ask what other patterns there are and write them down. There is a connection between the mind, body, and soul. Physical illness can potentially be rooted in the spiritual. There are consequences from your words and actions, and your vows and oaths. Listen to the full episode and learn more about how you can break these chains and dedicate yourself and your children to God.[46:34] Freedom Through Faith and Dedication to GodAmy was also in a sorority where she made many oaths and vows. However, she renounced them by going through a time of deep prayer. The first step is knowing what making these oaths means to God. As humans, we may see it as harmless, but God may see it as dedicating yourself to a pagan god.Recognize that you have sinned and ask for forgiveness. In your prayer, as for consecration and for God to free you. Be sincere and pray from your heart.God is there waiting to talk to you and forgive you. However, this is a continuing journey. Once you start, keep praying for forgiveness and consecration.Look at your perspective. Do you want Jesus or deliverance? We need to want God more than relief. Just be faithful and in His time and way, He will bring relief to you. [52:15] Amy: Sometimes, I feel individually as people, as Christians, we just want relief from our circumstances and God's like no, you got to want Me more than your relief. We got to understand that it's in his timing, in his way, and he will do it. You just have to be faithful and do your part and partner with the Holy Spirit.”[53:52] How Parents Can Break Generational CursesGenerational curses are real. They can be rooted in Freemasonry, sickness, and more. We have also inherited sin and curses from Adam and Eve.Understand that as parents, we have to deal with sin. It can stop with us so it doesn't get passed down to our children. There can be healing that can come from the parent addressing the root of the issue.Realize that walking apart from the spirit and choosing the flesh comes at a great cost. As Christians, we need to not only believe but give everything to God.[57:41] Overwhelmed? Let God Open Your EyesMany churches have already taken ties to Masonry seriously. Many resources and ministries are also educating people about this topic.Keep your eyes open and be aware of what our kids also see. Celebrities and artists our kids watch may be displaying these symbols.Be teachable and humble. Rather than dismissing this immediately, ask yourself why you're getting triggered. God may be trying to show you something. This can be overwhelming. Take your time in this journey and in God's time and His way, He will show you the truth.About Amy From Eyes on the Right.Amy is an educator, counselor, speaker, and Bible teacher who helps others deepen their understanding of the Scripture. Do you know the order of grace? This weekend Pastor Steve Andres continued our FACE TO FACE series with a message about the generous love of God.Luke 19:5-6When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.Zacshaeus was a man who has become famous for his short stature. What can we learn from his unexpected face to face meeting with Jesus?1) Be willing to climb a tree.Tree-climbing is for children, but not for respectable adults. That Zacchaeus was willing to appear foolish to see Jesus meant that he was humble enough to receive the kingdom of God.2) Get over the crowd.Other people can be mean and hypocritical, but in order to see Jesus you have to be willing to look past them. Extend to others the same patience and grace you extend to yourself.3) Bring Jesus home.Zacchaeus doesn't invite Jesus over, Jesus invites himself. Pay attention to the order of grace. The love of Jesus is not the payment for our efforts. The love of Jesus is what produces a deep change in our lives! How do we know that Jesus loves us? Because when we were lost, he climbed a tree for us, choosing the foolishness of the cross so we could have a place at his table!
Holy, undivided, blessed, glorious God. And we love you and give you the victory that is in us."

Are you in a situation that you feel completely helpless to do anything about? It's someone else's mood making work so difficult. It's someone else's choices creating chaos in your home. Whew, don't you just hate it. Don't you just wish you could make them act right? Don't you wish you could change them? Wouldn't […]
Pastor John said it was said there are many ways to come to Jesus, but only ONE way to God and that's through Jesus! Bring Jesus into your life and have LIGHT. Do NOT hide that light under a bushel, but display it on a lamp-stand for all to see. Riches are not what you HAVE, but how much you DON'T NEED.

Most of us need some type of healing, whether it's physical, emotional, spiritual, or relational (or we know someone who does). Jesus is the Healer. He is “Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals.” Bring Jesus your struggles, wounds, and sins. God's power to heal is both true and miraculous, even today!
The church building is not the community of believers but rather the believers going into the communities. God is with us wherever we are at. Bring Jesus with us to Church.
Beth continues our theme of rejoicing this Christmas season as she investigates Mary's "favorites list" in Luke 1:46. And it's, This is the day the Lord, which the Lord has made.We will rejoice and be glad in it. Now, just so you know, I always use the King James version. So if you're used to the new international version or anything else, then it might sound a little bit different to you.So this verse is something that actually I have a little song for. I taught my kids this when they were growing up so that we could learn the scriptures.I used to teach children's church, and this was one of the songs. So it goes like this If you wanna learn this verse because it's really good to put the word in your heart because then it manifests out in your life. The Biblse says “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” So, we wanna always have the word in our minds, in our ears, and in our eyes. And to do that, we meditate on it, but we have to know it to meditate, right? So this is a great verse for that. This is not the lesson for today or, the topic for today. Ready? (Then I sing the verse)Now, the reason I did that was because I really feel like that if today is difficult for you, because it is Valentine's Day, and if you're listening to this in a replay and it's another day in, in your life, and you know, maybe it's a different holiday or you could just reflect on this when it is a holiday that comes up, that if you start to feel bad because things aren't as they should be, you know, “He should have given me this!” or “They should have cared about that!” “I should have gotten this.” And we kind of feel sorry for ourselves because we have this perception of the way things are supposed to be.Then we can bring this verse in and we could just say, “This is the day that the Lord is made.I will rejoice and be glad in it.” There's no reason that we need to stay in a place that's not good just because of what we think things should be.Now I'm gonna move on with the verses, but I'm definitely gonna share from my heart about something that I learned through Alanon.Alanon is a group, there's Alcoholics Anonymous, that's AA and then there's Alanon. Alcoholics Anonymous for the people who are alcoholics. They have an addiction problem to alcohol. And then Alanon is for people who have been affected by the person who had an addiction. It turns out we are sicker than they are.So, one of the things I learned in there, which I'll talk about a little bit later, is a Plan B.So it really, it revolutionized my life. And I'll go on a little bit more about how I always, only went to the church for help.I always went to the church and to the bible, to the church, and to the Bible, and I never went outside of that. And it wasn't until I listened to that voice in my heart. You know, the Bible says that Jesus is the healer. That's what it says. Jesus is the healer, right? It talks about laying hands on people, and praying for people that they'll get well, right? But does that mean we don't go to the doctor? Like if you have a heart attack, if you're having heart pains, if you're having some kind of issue, don't you run to the emergency room? Are we not using our faith because we have a physical problem and we're not going to God? This is the thing, okay?Bring Jesus with you. Yes, you're gonna run to the hospital and it's a really good idea to bring Jesus with you. You're not doing one or the other, you're doing both. So for so many years, I refused any help that was outside of going to a pastor or somebody where I could get counseling and the Bible.I would dig into the Bible and ignore everything else. It seems like the church are very willing to go anywhere for physical health, but nowhere else. Not for mental health and that's messed up because there are people that God put out there that are specialists, right? You're not gonna run to the orthodontist when you have a heart attack, right? There's a specialist for that.Whatever specialists there are. Years and years ago, this was probably the first year I was married. I saw a television commercial and the commercial was an Allon commercial. And it was a woman who was sitting at a table. They did it in black and white. It was very good. it was done very well. She was sitting at a table, she had coffee. It was a depressing kind of look to the commercial. There was a man in the background who was coming in and going out, of the shot. And you could see there was yelling, she was distressed. She said nothing. And then you saw him dash out.And then, she just put her head down in her hands. And the caption was, “You can see what the alcoholism is doing to him, but can you see what it's doing to you?” God needed me to see that because this is 40 years later, okay? 40 years later. And I remember that like it was yesterday. Why? Why there are so many commercials in and out, so much going on in life, right? Why do I remember that so vividly?Because He needed me to go for that help. Do you know how long it took me to go for that help?25 years, It took 25 years for me to go for that help. That's how long it took. But it wasn't like all of those 25 years I was thinking of that. “I really should go to that.” Not at all. I wasn't, when I saw that commercial, it just went in and went out as far as I was concerned. But obviously, it didn't. So when finally I would let go of my religion and say, All right, I need, I need help because nothing's changing. I need help. And I was finally willing to see, is there was anywhere else I can get help.Is there, is there anything else I can do to get help? Bam, it all opened up for me. And then, you know, it just happened where I got the help.So this is Valentine's Day, right? And a lot of times we feel like things are supposed to be a certain way and, if you don't have anybody in your life, maybe you feel bad that you don't.So it's like, poor me, I don't have anybody in my life and you know, I'm not putting down anybody's, sorrow or pain. If you want something and you don't have it, being alone is difficult. So, yeah, I, I get it.But the thing is, with God, there's always a solution. But just like the story I just told you, if you are not looking for the solution, you're not gonna find it.If we think we've gotta tell God how to do it like, “He has to come home!” “He has to bring me roses!” “He has to care!” “It's my birthday. He has to do this, he has to that!”. Or, “I need to have a relationship? I need to have a man in my life!”In my case then it was, he needs to stop drinking. He needs to come home. He needs to love me more. If we are gonna tell God what the answer is, you think you know what to do.Because the Holy Spirit is a gentleman, he's not gonna push your ass into anything that you don't wanna do. There's freedom of will.So what we wanna do is surrender and realize God always has an answer. The answer is always there. We just have to say, “God, can you help me?”Cause sometimes this stuff is so ingrained in us because of the programming we've had, TV shows, commercials, other people's lives, and comparing ourselves to other people. All of that stuff is bundled up in something that, kind of cements us in a,”Iit's supposed to be this way.” And so that's all we can see. But sometimes all we have to do is see a different view and all of a sudden it's like somebody turned a light on.You know, like the light was there the whole time. All you had to do was flip the switch, but you just didn't know because you're, all you can see is this. All you can see is what they're telling you. Things need to be. And when we realize that things can be different, then suddenly all of these, avenues, all of these solutions things just start pouring in.And you know, the fact is, is that those things were there all along. But if you walk into a room and you're only looking one way, can you see what's on the other side?Sometimes it's that simple. I'm gonna go on to the next verse. Hebrews 12, one, and two.We also are compassed about with so great a cloud, a witness. Let us lay aside every weight and sin, which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience, the race that is set before us.See, listen, you got some race set before you. What is it? Are you alone? Are you with somebody that is not paying attention to you, doesn't give you what you need, or doesn't give you what you want? That's the race that is set before you. That's what it is. Looking to Jesus. Do we do that? Do we do that?Looking unto Jesus, the author, and the finisher? And this is a really key phrase here of our faith. Not of what we want. Not of what we think should be. Not of what we are afraid of. Not what we believe to be true. Not what we've been told. Not what the doctor said, not any of that. Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.Where is your faith? Are you believing in what you see or are you believing in what He said? There's the difference. What are you gonna get? It's all up to you. Okay, here we go. Who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.Do you realize what you've got? Do we realize what we've got? It says that every name, every name, shall bow to that name. It's in the name of Jesus. Are we using it? Things aren't okay? Things aren't what we want them to be? It's a holiday and you are alone. If that's all you see, that's all you're gonna get. Because it's where your faith is.Next verse. Now here's one that you can bring to the bank. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't lean onto your own understanding. The next verse says, In all your ways, acknowledge him. And the next part of that is he will direct your path.Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And don't lean onto your understanding.Don't lean onto what you are knowing, which is. “I'm alone.” “Nobody loves me.” “ I'm not getting anything.” “I haven't had a good Thanksgiving.” “I haven't had a good Valentine's Day in years and years and years.” So what are you doing? What are you doing? You're not trusting in the Lord with all your heart. You're leaning on your own understanding. The next verse says, in all your ways, acknowledge him and he will direct your path.So what do we do right? We trust God and we say, “All right, God, I see what isn't. But you love me and I could look to Jesus. I'm not gonna lean on my own understanding, which is that it's supposed to be this a certain way. I'm not gonna lean on that. I'm going to acknowledge you and I'm gonna believe that you're gonna direct my path. (To be continued - This is one of the things I need help with, paying someone to help with transcribing)
