While God created humanity with the capacity for deep emotion, subjective feelings must never usurp the authority of Scripture in a believer's life. We explore the profound danger of an emotion driven faith and emphasize that true worship, lasting joy, and decision making must be anchored in the objective truth of the Bible. Rather than relying on fleeting sentiments or mystical signs to discern God's will, Christians are called to align their minds with sound doctrine. By seeking wise pastoral counsel and trusting the unchanging promises of God, we can walk faithfully even when our feelings fade.

Or what about gaming into which some are immersing themselves multiple hours every day and well into the night while relationships and direct verbal communication with others is on the decline? We're starting with a fundamental question this episode: Why did God choose to create a world that would come to be filled with suffering? When human tragedy strikes, skeptics often cite the "problem of evil" to challenge God's goodness or His sovereignty. But even worse, rather than confronting these questions with the absolute authority of Scripture, many modern churches hide or distort the truth in favor of a comfortable, man-centered theology that strips God of His holy justice and sovereign purpose. In this episode, we want to discuss how Christians should biblically respond to the existence of suffering and how we can understand God's attitude toward suffering. We'll discuss everything from how man tries to sit in judgment of God, to examining how God does not just use suffering but divinely appoints it according to His good pleasure.Understanding the biblical view of suffering is essential for every believer seeking to stand firm in a broken world. Rather than viewing adversity as a defeat for the Christian faith, Scripture reveals that theology drives the world and that God's sovereign hand orders all things for His glory and the good of His people. God desires His church to trust in His uncompromised Word, finding true comfort and hope not in human sentimentality, but in Him as the sovereign ruler of heaven and earth. On 9/11, Islamists attacked the United States killing 2,977. Also, there's October 7, 2023, when Islamists struck Israel killing approximately 1,200. In spite of these kind of attacks, the violence of Islam is being muted in news outlets across America. However, some prominent individuals have been paying attention. The result is that Islamic influence and the growing network of the Muslim Brotherhood was at the center of a hearing held last week by Senator Ted Cruz, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Federal Courts, Oversight, Agency Action, and Federal Rights. This hearing was titled, Hidden in Plain Sight: Confronting the Muslim Brotherhood Network in America. It was designed to examine the Muslim Brotherhood's efforts to seize influence inside American nonprofits, political organizations, universities, courts, taxpayer-funded programs, and other American institutions. Witnesses described the network as linking to additional organizations, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Due to the significance of the hearing and the rapid advancement of Islam across the country, including into politics, Crosstalk believes it's important for the American public to hear this testimony. After an important opening from Senator Ted Cruz, you'll hear testimony from several individuals. This Crosstalk is a must.

This sermon emphasizes the absolute sovereignty and omnipresence of God throughout the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. It explores how God remains in control across all historical periods, utilizing even pagan leaders like Cyrus to fulfill His divine purposes. The preacher highlights God's existence outside of time, affirming that He sees all events simultaneously while allowing human free will. By tracing God's character through every book of the Bible, the message encourages believers to trust in His unchanging nature despite current struggles. Ultimately, it calls for a deeper reliance on faith, reminding listeners that God is the consistent and reliable foundation of their lives.

This sermon examines the life of Elijah to illustrate the critical importance of simple, step-by-step obedience to God's specific instructions. By analyzing key events such as the brook, the widow's barrel, and Mount Carmel, the message highlights how faithfulness in small matters leads to divine provision and power. Conversely, it warns against the dangers of acting out of fear or complacency without direct guidance, which results in discouragement and spiritual decline. The preacher emphasizes that true strength comes from submitting to God's timing and relying on His word rather than human understanding. Ultimately, believers are encouraged to remain steadfast in their current calling until God provides new direction.

Many believers today are asking if a woman can be a pastor. When churches tolerate women preaching to men, they act in direct violation of 1 Timothy 2. This standard is rooted deeply in the creation order of Genesis, which serves as the permanent foundation for complementarianism and biblical gender roles. While the office of church elders is reserved for biblically qualified men, women have an absolutely vital role in the church. The Scriptures heavily emphasize the beauty of the Titus 2 model, where older women teach younger women in practical Christian living. True church health is measured by total submission to the Word of God rather than shifting cultural trends.

This program comes as a stern warning! As children around the nation are preparing to go back into the classroom, this Crosstalk was broadcast to alert you that schools nationwide are carrying books with graphic sexual content. These books have worked their way into classrooms along with both school and public libraries. By design, these books are falling into the hands of children for the purpose of grooming them under the guise of education. Karen England is engaged in launching a new, nationwide initiative that is focused on helping citizens challenge these sexually explicit books in public school libraries. She is president of the Capitol Resource Institute. They are a pro-family public policy organization with a focus on education, religious freedom, parental rights, and life. They educate and strengthen families and engage in public policy. Karen is also founder of the initiative, Take Back the Classroom. Karen noted that this problem is far and wide, with red states often being the worst ones. Her organization has found over 1.4 million sexually explicit books across the nation. One in particular is in over 7,000 school districts. Hear the names of some of these books and learn what you can do to make a difference! More Information: TakeBackTheClassroom.com

Pastor Brewer shows us eschatological references found in the New Testament. The primary eschatological event has already happend, with Jesus's coming ... but His coming has two stages, the second one yet to be realized. Our current blessings are, thus, a "down payment" or guarantee of what is yet to come for those who profess sincere belief in Jesus as the Son of God and our savior.

Headlines from around the country are often filled with stories revealing fraud and scandal. Billions of dollars have been stolen from taxpayers by those establishing fraudulent businesses or deceptive billing schemes. People have succumbed to enticing bribes and selling state secrets. Also troubling is what is happening in politics in virtually every election cycle. There are politicians dropping out of races after the public becomes aware of illicit relationships or fraudulent dealings to which they have been engaged. The public has often been left feeling betrayed by such individuals who in a clandestine way seek to take advantage of others. Oh, how we long to have people of integrity! This is why it is important that we uplift and showcase the role models of men and women of integrity. Those who displayed character qualities that exhibited their Christian faith and made a difference for this nation. It took courage, obedience, loyalty, truthfulness, boldness and wisdom. We must remember those who made a difference in history and the character qualities they exhibited. And it rests upon us today to pass these stories on to the next generation. Returning to Crosstalk to do just that through her book set called, Profiles of Integrity, was Marilyn Boyer. Marilyn is a descendant of a Revolutionary War soldier and daughter of a World War II veteran. She is deeply patriotic and passionate about our Christian history. As the wife of an Air Force veteran, mother, home educator of fourteen children and grandmother of twenty-eight, Marilyn's dedication to family and country is unparalleled. Enjoy this Crosstalk!

(1) Israel Watch 8/5/26: We continue to watch the Iran War as the Iranian Islamist Regime continues murdering it's own people. (3) Last Days Apostasy on display at Kenneth Copeland's "Southwest Believers Conference" featuring arch-heretick and unhealed "healer" Bill Johnson claiming that speaking "God's words" (not Scripture but personal revelations, etc.) out of our mouths is as powerful as Jesus speaking out of His mouth." Patriarchy gets associated with everything that liberal Christianity and modern American culture hates about a biblically ordered home. Because of this, many Christians have abandoned the term patriarchy and replaced it with complementarianism. And the problem with this is that in practice, complementarianism often obscures the purpose of the home and the authority that God bestows on a husband and father. By focusing on "roles" it is used by many to turn the wife from her husband's helpmeet into a one-woman bureaucracy who operates on her own authority to carry out her own desires, provided they do not directly conflict with what her husband cares about. The husband goes from being a leader to a tie-breaker in extreme cases. Part of the reason for this is that many Christians find authority to be offensive. The idea that a husband should tell his wife what to do is shocking to many, but it is a biblical concept. Please join us as we discuss this issue that is so fundamental to the home.Thumbnail image by Mohamed_hassan on PixelbayProduction of Reformation Baptist Church of Youngsville, NCPermanent Hosts - Dan Horn, Charles Churchill and Joshua HornTechnical Director - Timothy KaiserTheme Music - Gabriel Hudelson

The sermon argues that the church is not currently in nor will be present during the seven-year tribulation, as believers are rescued from God's wrath. It identifies the opening of the seals in Revelation 6 as the beginning of this divine judgment, emphasizing that these events originate directly from Jesus rather than Satan or human agency. The speaker highlights the severity of the first half of the tribulation, describing it as a time of global violence and suffering that has not yet occurred. By contrasting general persecution with specific divine wrath, the message asserts that the church's absence is biblically consistent with God's protection of His bride. Ultimately, the presentation serves as an urgent call to salvation for non-believers, offering the hope of the rapture as an escape from the coming judgment.
