"Identity Politics" has been a catch phrase in an increasing manner in recent years. I submit to you that the spirit of "Difference" is an unacknowledged ally of Leviathan and Deceivableness. Man has been systematically conditioned and programmed over the generation to focus on differences as being something to attack, denigrate or destroy. What does Jesus say is the difference? To be called out and isolated unto the One True God and Creator. Will you embrace your Christ called difference today?
2 Chronicles 34 tells of Josiah coming to the throne of Judah at the age of 8 years old (BC 641). Verse 2 gives a wonderful testimony to his steadfastness. When he was 16 years old he commences his reforms with the destruction of the idols and the burning of the bones of the false prophets that had been prophesied 300 years earlier to Jeroboam 1, the first king of Israel, once they had split the kingdom at the time of Rehoboam (son of Solomon - see 1 Kings 13verses1-2). Verses 8-21 speak of the discovery, in the temple, of the scroll of Deuteronomy (possibly even the original in Moses own writing). This causes great concern when they read of the curses that would be sent upon them for their disobedience to God's laws. They were also at this time receiving the people's donations, which money was faithfully used in the repairing of the temple. Hilkiah, the high priest, and other officials went to the prophetess Huldah to ask what they could expect from Yahweh as punishment for their sins. Huldah's response was that judgment was coming, but would be postponed from Josiah's times until after his death, because king Josiah had been wholehearted in his worship of God. Hosea 2 tells us that because of the unfaithful behaviour of Gomer (as a type of the nation of Israel) Israel was no longer God's wife and the children would not be His people, nor would they receive mercy. When Gomer's lovers would no longer want to be with her she would seek the LORD her God, who would after disciplining her, receive her again, as God would the nation, whose typical example Gomer would follow. Yahweh in His kindness would allure her back to Himself, and once again woo her. Eventually Gomer would become a faithful wife - as too will Israel - and as a consequence blessings would flow. The land would be sown with the seeds of fruitfulness. Israel would once more receive mercy from the hand of their Maker and Husband. And the nation would become the people of God once more (see Romans 9verses20; 11verses13-16, 25-27). This of course a great parable about Yahweh's loving kindness and His restoration of His people to their LORD in faithfulness and truth in Messiah's kingdom. Acts 16 speaks of a disciple named Timothy - meaning "of value to God". He was well recommended by the brethren. Timothy's mother, Lois, was a Jewess and a faithful believer. Likewise, Timothy's - grandmother, Eunice, was also faithful - see 2 Timothy 1verses5. As Timothy's father was a Greek Paul thought that it would be best for Timothy to be circumcised before travelling with himself and Silas. They visit the Galatian believers to strengthen their faith. Whilst attempting to preach the gospel in the province of Asia they were prevented from doing so. God had urgent work for the missionaries to do in Macedonia. They were given a vision of a man from Macedonia asking them for help. Many believe that the man in the vision was Doctor Luke, since the pronouns in the chapter change when Luke joined them- see chapter 16verses11. It is also interesting to think that Alexander the Great was a Macedonian who claimed to have a vision of the high priest of Israel and the 24 elders coming to meet him (see Zechariah 9). In Philippi, the capital of Macedonia, there were so few Jews that the city had no synagogue. It was by the riverside that Lydia, a lady from Thyatira, believed and was baptised. Lydia, "whose heart the Lord opened" describes the timeless operation of the spirit of God. It is a lovely description. She was the first convert from that city. Verses 16-24 describe a demented girl, said to be possessed by the python of Delphi, who follows Paul and Silas and claims that they are the servants of the most high God. After the girl was healed her owners, losing their source of income, had Paul and Silas arrested, beaten, placed in most uncomfortable stocks and cast into prison. Paul and Silas sang hymns of praise to the amazement of the prisoners and their jailor. The response of the Almighty was to a produce a strong earthquake that was felt throughout the city. It also released all the chains of the prisoners. The jailor fearing his prisoners had fled was about to take his own life. Paul called upon him to stop. He took Paul and Silas to his home and bathed their wounds (with their stripes he was healed - see Isaiah 53). The jailor and the believing adults of his household were baptised - the ecclesia was growing. In the morning the superstitious magistrates tell Paul and Silas to go. Paul says they have beaten the Apostles who are uncondemned Roman citizens. This made the magistrates even more fearful; but must have provided the ecclesia with a measure of protection. Acts 17 tells of Paul, Silas coming to Thessalonica (Luke seems to have stayed in Philippi for the next 7 years), where the preaching had some measure of success until the jealous Jews stirred up the rabble of the city and attacked the house of Jason where Paul and his companions were lodged. Jason is beaten, but the multitude want Paul's blood. The enraged mob claim that Paul has turned the Roman world upside down with his preaching - and indeed he had done that. After taking money for security Paul and his company are allowed to depart. In verses 10-12 we hear that they next come to Berea where the people of that city are more noble of heart as they daily search the Scriptures to see whether what the Apostles claimed was in fact what the Scriptures taught. But sadly, true to form, the unbelieving Jews from Thessalonica come and bring persecution with them. Paul is hurried away from the hostile Jews and brought by sea to Athens. Whilst waiting for Timothy and Silas Paul is stirred by the extent of the idolatry of the city. Paul speaks to the philosophers of the Epicurean and Stoic persuasions about Jesus and the resurrection - the Greeks supposed he was talking of Jesus (a male god) and Anastasis (a female god). Paul is taken to Areopagus (also called Mars Hill) and placed on trial for blasphemy (a charge that carried the death sentence if he is found guilty). Paul commences to preach to them based on an altar that he finds with the inscription "to the unknown god". He says that they are ignorantly worshipping this god. From the Greek poets Paul tells them that this God made the world and everything in it. He quotes from several of their poets - including the well-known Hymn to Zeus (their chief god). But his primary appeal was for them to forsake idolatry and polytheism and embrace the One True God by believing that this God will judge those who do not repent and turn to Him. The majority response is to dismiss Paul's claims as they compare the Apostle to a seed picking bird, which gathers bits and pieces from everywhere. Nonetheless one Dionysius, an Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and a few others become believers. Those heaters who procrastinated by saying that they would hear Paul's teaching on another occasion missed a great opportunity for the Apostle never returned to Athens - see Ephesians 5verses16. Send us a messageScripture warns us of the many deceptions that would be especially prevalent in the last days – and having reached that time on God's Prophetic Calendar – thesedeceptions are in full force as Satan continues to “rob, kill, and destroy” as many as he can.His most deadly attacks are orchestrated through his masterful counterfeits – which are geared to draw mankind away from the One True God of All Creation and the Eternal Life that Only He can give – and to follow him instead. For he longs forthe worship that belongs to Elohim alone. And in order to accomplish his devious desires, he has infiltrated the true Church of Jesus Christ with his darkened ministers – who just like him – appear as angelsof light – when in reality there is no true light in them at all. But because their disguise is so deceptive – appearing to be draped in benevolence. kindness and love – many are drawn into their beguiling persuasions. In this message, we reveal these nefarious counterfeits while proclaiming the unadulterated Word of Truth that alone leads man to the One Who is the Truth – Yeshua HaMashiach – Jesus the Messiah!Support the showVisit our website: https://agapelightministries.com/
Pastor Dan walked through Nehemiah 9, highlighting God's covenant faithfulness to Israel despite their repeated rebellion. He emphasized that the Lord is gracious, merciful, and patient—never abandoning His people but continually calling them back to Himself for restoration. The call to us is to remember His grace, repent of coldness, and renew our walk with Christ. #Nehemiah9 #GodsGrace #CovenantFaithfulness #RepentAndReturn #CalvaryTilton #ScriptureFirst #SoliDeoGloria
Pastor Dan's message from James 1:5–8 and Proverbs 8 emphasized that true wisdom begins with God Himself—the Creator who established the world by His understanding. He explained that biblical wisdom is not mere intelligence, but the ability to live righteously before God and others. God's wisdom enables believers to make sound decisions, lead their families well, and find favor with Him. Pastor Dan concluded by showing that Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's wisdom, the solid foundation on which every life must be built for both spiritual success and salvation.#CalvaryTilton #SundayMessage #WisdomOfGod #James1 #Proverbs8 #FaithInAction #JesusOurRock

Pastor Dan taught that Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God, revealing God's glory through His incarnation, creation, and sustaining power. Christ's supremacy extends over all creation and the Church because the fullness of God dwells in Him, and through His blood He has reconciled all things to Himself. The believer's response is to worship, trust, and glorify Him daily as the visible display of God's majesty.#TheGloryOfGod #ChristSupreme #Colossians11520 #JesusIsLord #DrDanKitinoja #Calvarytilton #GodsCharacterInAction
What would you risk to bring someone to Jesus? Your reputation? Your job? Your life? This question may seem intense, but as we think through radical faith as a church I find that more and more the answer to this question determines a lot about the faith we walk in. Some of us would give everything, while others of us would be more cautious. Wherever you are at the call has been clearly given to us by Jesus to “die to yourself, pick up your cross, and follow Me.” What would it look like to have a faith willing to do that? Radical. Elijah had radical faith. He came on the scene at a time of great idolatry in the nation of Israel. Following the rule of king Ahab and his wife Jezebel they had committed themselves to the false god Baal, who was supposed to be the weather god, controlling the provision of water needed for rich harvests. Elijah begins by declaring the LORD’s power over weather with a 3 year drought, and then came straight at Baal on Mt. Carmel. He shows us radical faith in his bold, public stand for the LORD in the midst of a fallen people. His boldness to trust in God set the stage for one of the most clear displays of the One True God’s authority over all. Elijah was willing to risk everything to call people back to God. Join us this weekend for a worship service where we will dive into this moment in the life of Elijah, and grow in our understanding of what it looks like to be Radical Like Jesus! - Pastor Ben Key Verse: 1 Kings 18:21 - "Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing." For this week's Scripture and notes: http://bible.com/events/49496616
Pastor Dan's sermon emphasized God's absolute holiness, His righteous character, and His just nature in judging sin. He showed that only God can remove guilt through the atoning work of Christ, whose cross demonstrates perfect justice and mercy. The message ended by reminding listeners that while judgment is certain for the unrepentant, God's grace still reaches the humble and restores a faithful remnant.#TheOneTrueGod #Isaiah6 #GodIsHoly #JusticeAndMercy #ChristOurAtonement #PastorDan #CalvaryTilton
Trace Redina's path with Pastor Paige and Cynthia as she walks us through her journey to Jesus. Redina calls Lubbock home and has raised her family here. She loves those TX Tech Red Raiders, but her love for Jesus is what is most contagious. She learned to let prayer be the daily foundational habit of her life after watching her house parents in college model the power of spending time with God throughout all circumstances.
Micah 6:9-7:17 moves from darkness to light, from cursing to blessing. And the road between these contrasts is one of repentance. Through words of judgment, we feel the chill of sin; yet within the remnant of God's people, signs of life begin to spring forth. These verses unfold to show the nation restored, a new exodus led by the Good Shepherd, and the nations of the world bowing in worship to the One True God.
Pastor Dan's sermon, “The One True God Is Holy,” focused on Isaiah 6:1–8 and emphasized that God's holiness sets Him completely apart from humanity — He is morally pure, perfectly righteous, and sovereign over all creation. When Isaiah encountered God's holiness, he was undone by his sinfulness, revealing humanity's desperate need for cleansing and redemption through Christ's atoning sacrifice. Once forgiven, believers are called to serve the holy God with humility and obedience, responding as Isaiah did: “Here am I, send me.”#HolinessOfGod #Isaiah6 #GodIsHoly #AtOneWithChrist #HereAmISendMe #CalvaryTilton
Now that Israel's new king has been duly confirmed and celebrated, Samuel closes the book on his own lengthy tenure of service as a leader for the nation. Having exonerated his character publically, he unleashes his full prophetic arsenal in evaluating Israel and calling her to faithful obedience to the One True God. This chapter climaxes the entirety of Israel's per-monarchial history.
Pastor Dan's sermon emphasized that God shows His goodness even when people reject Him, when our sin offends Him, and when the world refuses to honor Him. He highlighted that God provides healing, daily blessings, and opportunities for repentance, yet warned that the window to receive salvation does not stay open forever. Ultimately, God's goodness is revealed most clearly through Christ's sacrifice on the cross, and each person must decide whether to trust Him while they still can .#GodIsGood #Acts14 #GospelTruth #Salvation #TrustInJesus #SermonSummary #FaithInChrist
John Calvin taught that there are two essential aspects to all true knowledge: knowledge of God and knowledge of self. These two beliefs are deeply interconnected. To rightly know God is to rightly understand ourselves and the world around us. Belief in the idea of God is virtually universal; most people around the world believe in some concept of the divine. However, the Nicene Creed points way beyond a mere spirituality, calling us to belief in the One True God defined as Father and revealed as Almighty. While short in words, this phrase is packed with meaning which points us to the God revealed in the Bible and made known in the story of the Old Testament. As God met Moses at Mount Sinai in the book of Exodus, He revealed His true character and nature. What we find is a God who is present and involved in the lives of His people, who loves and forgives, yet who also “by no means clears the guilty.” The True and Living God chose to make Himself known; therefore, we don’t have to wonder or speculate. What we believe about God matters greatly, because we are always moving toward the object of our worship, being shaped by our idea of God or whatever becomes the god of our lives.
Pastor Dan's sermon reminded us that God is sovereign over all creation and works through His providence to guide history, people, and events toward His perfect plan. Peter's Pentecost sermon showed that the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus were no accident but God's foreordained means of salvation, offering forgiveness and new life to all who repent and believe. God now calls us to respond personally—turning from sin, trusting Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.#ProvidenceOfGod #JesusIsLord #Acts2 #CalvaryTilton #RepentAndBelieve #SovereignGod #GospelTruth
Come As You Are Series - Saul (Old Testament)1 Samuel 9:18-21 & 1 Samuel 10:1 “Saul approached Samuel in the gateway and asked, “Would you please tell me where the seer's house is?” “I am the seer,” Samuel replied. “Go up ahead of me to the high place, for today you are to eat with me, and in the morning I will send you on your way and will tell you all that is in your heart. As for the donkeys you lost three days ago, do not worry about them; they have been found. And to whom is all the desire of Israel turned, if not to you and your whole family line?” Saul answered, “But am I not a Benjamite, from the smallest tribe of Israel, and is not my clan the least of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why do you say such a thing to me?” Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul's head and kissed him, saying, “Has not the Lord anointed you ruler over his inheritance?”When I was reading over the scriptures for the week, this one caught my eye because Saul says something I can picture each one of us saying. Saul has set out in search of these 3 donkeys that are missing. This interaction picks up when he gets to Samuel's house. He is looking for Samuel because he is a seer. A seer is a perceiver of hidden truth, according to one site I found online. Samuel says Saul is to eat with him and then will go on his way in the morning. Samuel then drops this crazy idea on Saul that Israel's future lies in his hands. Saul answered, “But am I not a Benjamite, from the smallest tribe of Israel, and is not my clan the least of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why do you say such a thing to me?” This is where I think we can all relate. Saul has just been told, “And to whom is all the desire of Israel turned, if not to you and your whole family line?” Basically, the future of Israel lies in Saul's hands, and he instantly questions his worthiness. Have you ever done this? Have you ever wanted to go for a promotion at work and yet worried you weren't good enough for it? Have you ever had someone tell you that you would be perfect for some position, whether paid or volunteer, and you wonder what they see in you that made them think that? I know I have. I went to a retreat once, and they were looking for people to be on the executive board for the European region. It was my first retreat with the group. I had been a part of the local groups for a few years. The women I had met at the retreat were saying that if no one else wanted the positions, maybe we should help out. I instantly wondered if I could do it. Didn't you have to be pretty holy to be on the executive board of a large Catholic organization? What if they knew how flawed I am? What if they realized I don't know nearly as much as anyone else does about our faith? What if's kept running through my head. When we were talking about it at dinner, we were discussing what experience we had either in a job setting or in a volunteer setting. I mentioned I had several years of experience volunteering on the executive boards of several spouses' groups. I had pretty much done all the various roles. I will never forget one of the women said, I could have guessed that. I wondered what about me made her think that. To me, I just saw myself as a mom of three boys. Someone who helps out wherever needed. I didn't think I did anything too important. I mean, I know mothering is important. It's just that sometimes in the grand scheme of things, when mothering is your full-time job, it can start to feel like you aren't important. I am not sure if that makes sense to everyone, but I know some of you have probably felt that way before. It was nice to have someone else affirm that she knew I could do it. I had only spent two days or so with this woman, and she could see things in me that I couldn't see. Why is it that others can see things in us that we can't see? Why do others see the best in us, and we not only can't see it, but we often struggle to believe it when they call it out in us? Saul was struggling to believe he was worthy of this amazing thing Samuel called out in him. He answered, “But am I not a Benjamite, from the smallest tribe of Israel, and is not my clan the least of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why do you say such a thing to me?” All Saul could see was where he came from. He saw his family status, he saw his place in the clan, he saw all he lacked. He didn't come from the best family, he didn't have the status, and he didn't see what Samuel saw in him. However, Samuel was a seer; he could see the hidden truths. Samuel was able to see what God had in store for Saul. He was able to look to the future and see all Saul was capable of doing. I know Saul didn't have the benefit of the Bible. I am sure some of the stories of God had been passed down through the generations, but he didn't have the benefit of the complete Old and New Testaments. If he did, he would have been able to realize that God rarely, if ever, uses those with perfect family bloodlines. He rarely, if ever, uses the person you or I would pick for Him to use. God tends to choose the broken to do His work. God chooses people not based on how we see them, but on how He sees them. God chooses people for a particular purpose, and your status, your family, your job, your reputation, none of that will exclude you if God wants you. I was mentioning to Tony yesterday about how Saul was on his way to capture and put in jail anyone who believed in Jesus Christ, and God gave him a vision, and he was baptized just a few days later. Saul consented to the stoning of Stephen, a beloved follower of Jesus, and he was not excluded from God's glory. He was not excluded from helping to build up the kingdom of God here on earth. Saul is just one example, but there are so many. Even within the 12 apostles, there was Matthew, who was a tax collector, Simon, who was a zealot, and Judas, who was a thief. I know you don't think you are worthy of the call God is placing on your life, but answer that call anyway. God will be there every step of the way to give you all you need. I know you don't feel comfortable believing the great things people call out in you, but believe them anyway. I know it can be uncomfortable to call out the wonderful things you see in others, but call them out anyway. You never know how much it could mean to that person. You never know if that thought that you had about that person is something God put in your mind for you to share with Him. We need to build people up. This world does a great job of tearing people down. What if we did a great job of building people up? What if we called out the good we see in others, even if we think they already see it? What if God is using us to tell that person something that He has been telling them, and yet they just couldn't hear it? God loves you. He is choosing you for something right now. Can you say yes? I asked God one time, Why me, and he said Why not you. He sees incredible things in each one of us. He is choosing you, and He has His reasons. Trust that the One True God, the God Almighty, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, did not get it wrong. Trust He knows what He is doing and say “Yes Lord, Yes, Lord, Yes, Yes, Lord.”Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless those listening to this episode today. Deep in the heart of Israel, God desires to be known by His chosen people. Revealing Himself to Moses as Yahweh, the Great I Am, a name too holy to utter, the Israelites call Him Jehovah. Throughout the Old Testament, Jehovah responds to the faith of His people and shows Himself strong on their behalf. Brother Luke's sermon emphasized that God's love is not just an attribute but His very nature. This love is eternal, displayed in redemptive history, lived out in the church through sanctifying, unifying, and missional love, and even revealed in discipline and judgment. God's love is not soft sentimentality—it is a conquering love that comes with a sword, a cross, and a crown, calling us to holiness and faithfulness.#GodIsLove #ChristCentered #EternalLove #ChurchUnity #MissionalLiving #TruthInLove

Acts 17:22-34 ESV So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.' What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘In him we live and move and have our being'; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.' Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked. But others said, “We will hear you again about this.” So Paul went out from their midst. But some men joined him and believed, among whom also were Dionysius the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.
Pastor Dan preached from Acts 17:16–34, emphasizing that Jesus Christ is the only true image of God, in contrast to the man-made idols worshiped in Athens. He showed that God alone is sovereign—He created the world, determines our times and boundaries, commands repentance, and has proven His authority by raising Jesus from the dead. Pastor Daniel applied this truth personally, reminding us that God is sovereign in salvation (Ephesians 1:3–11) and in every detail of our daily lives (James 4:13–15). The call was clear: to worship the living God, repent of idolatry, and trust His sovereign will over life and eternity .#GodIsSovereign #Acts17 #JesusIsLord #TrueWorship #RepentAndBelieve #ResurrectionPower #ChristAlone #BiblicalPreaching

The longing for a deeper connection is a divine imprint in our hearts. As we delve into the complexities of God's nature and promises, be inspired to seek not just awareness but a relationship with the One True God. In a world full of spiritual options and endless voices, how do we find truth that actually satisfies? Many say they are “spiritual but not religious,” yet vague faith and curiosity alone can't fill the deep longing of the human heart. In Acts 17, Paul stands in Athens surrounded by idols, philosophers, and seekers. He boldly points beyond empty religion and vague spirituality to the One True God—the Creator, the Giver of life, and the Judge of all the earth. True spirituality isn't about feelings, rituals, or manmade images; it's about knowing and worshiping the God who revealed Himself in Jesus Christ. This message explores: ✅ Why spiritual curiosity by itself will never be enough ✅ The danger of settling for vague, undefined faith ✅ How true spirituality is found in knowing the God who made us and raised Jesus from the deadBlaise Pascal once wrote that every human heart carries an infinite abyss that only God Himself can fill. The same is true today—our search for meaning finds its end in Him.
After God called Joshua to courage, chapter 2 is a call for faith. Faith and confession in the One True God of Israel comes from one of the most unlikely sources, a Gentile prostitute, named Rahab. In this sermon, we'll see how the testimony of God was strong in the Transjordan as well as God giving second chances. Join us as we continue to provide the setting in the book of Joshua.

God takes what the world sees as broken and transforms it into something beautiful, just as Michelangelo saw David hidden in flawed marble. Through stories of faith, loss, and everyday encounters, we can be reminded that our lives are meant to reflect Christ’s transforming power. God’s redeeming work reshapes us to be witnesses of His glory in a world longing for hope. Listen to this sermon as Rev. With the tech boom has come concerns that we are constantly under surveillance, or being watched. And maybe that's not all a conspiracy theory. But no one in the world knows everything about us. There is still some privacy, some places we can go away from prying eyes.Except…Psalm 69:5 says, “O God, you know my folly; the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you.”We know that we serve the One True God, the One that made everything we see. Part of His infinite knowledge is every single thing about each person. That's a mind-bender and can actually seem a little scary, but ultimately it's for our own good. If we mess up, He is there to restore us and heal our shame. While others gather data on us that could be embarrassing, God wants only what's best for us. He holds us up to the light of His righteousness, and that reality should be all the motivation we need to live holy lives.Let's pray.Lord, we can feel very, very foolish in your eyes. But we thank you for the accountability you give us, for our own good. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! Jesus' claim that he is the one true God and the world's savior was the stumbling block for many Jews. Fr. Mike explains why Jesus' invitation to the Jewish people to have faith in him was a challenging task. We learn that hardness of heart and unbelief led the Pharisees to a tragic misunderstanding of Jesus. We are also at risk of such error, and recognizing our hardness of heart can help us to grow in faith. Today's readings are Catechism paragraphs 587-594.
