After that, MSU Basketball has been a major talking point with some Spartan fans, so we chimed in on the future of MSU with the transfer portal and NIL kicking in. We shared our thoughts on the Loki MCU series, as well as the MCU's new direction post-Endgame and what it means for the upcoming 2-3 years of movies.

The hosts are new, but the sarcasm hasn't changed a bit. Join Gene Ross and Josh Dooley all year long as they break down everything going on in Buckeye Nation on Land-Grant Holy Land's flagship podcast. On today's episode of Hangout in the Holy Land, Gene and Josh get you caught up on all the latest Ohio State news from over the weekend, including the latest Buckeye football commitment and the newest member of the OSU men's hoops team. They do a little breakdown of each player and what they could mean to their respective teams both in the recruiting world and how they impact the rosters. They then jump into this week's theme here at Land-Grant Holy Land: What if? The guys discuss a handful of Ohio State hypotheticals, including what would have happened if J.T. Barrett didn't get injured in the final game of the 2014 regular season and the different scenarios that may have played out in the B1G title game that year and beyond, as well as what would the plan of attack be if Ryan Day were to pursue an NFL head coaching job at the conclusion of the 2021 season and the candidates we would want to see looked at to coach the Buckeyes. You could pick most years in sports over the last century and find the interesting moments of the year. My guest today, David Ostrowsky, decided to write a book about all of the famous sporting events that happened in 1993. He also wrote for the Associated Press in the mid 2000's covering Boston sports... Of course you may ask why 1993 (which I did in the episode), and a number of great things happened that year. Here's the answer:-Jordan's Bulls achieved a 3-Peat before he left for baseball-Montreal Canadiens won the Stanley Cup over Gretzky and the LA Kings. It's the last championship won by a Canadian-based NHL team to this date.-Joe Montana begins his new journey with the Kansas City Chiefs after leaving the 49ers.-The Toronto Blue Jays win back to back World Series rings and this time with a Walk-Off homer to win the series by Joe Carter in dramatic fashion-The Baltimore Orioles built Camden Yards, a modern ballpark inside the city that suited the fan experience. Also, had the All-Star game there and Home Run Derby where Ken Griffey Jr. launched a home run that hit the warehouse in right field that seemed impossible.-The Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl starting their dynastyWe cover it all in this episode and lots of great interviews done by David to get plenty of anecdotes for this book. Please enjoy, don't forget to subscribe, rate 5 stars and review where possible! Along the way, they bring up the issue the Broncos faced in a game against the Saints, WITH NO QUARTERBACK ON THE ROSTER! The conversation moves to the Detroit Lions & their fans, and they transition to college basketball! How eerie is a game, that matters, with zero people there to watch the game? Dalton talks arenas that are crazy loud, and environments that surprised him as he has travelled around the country for games.
