Recently I met with a client that was suffering from the devastating syndrome of what I call, "Forever Displacement." This is what it is, where it comes from, and how to treat it. Forever Displacement Syndrome is simply “The Loss Of Forever” What is it? Where does it come from? It’s when your personal definition of FOREVER gets knocked out of place, and you no longer have a hopeful definition of the future.  It's a devastating loss, that feels like a forever loss. Instead, it gets replaced with meaningless feelings of hopelessness, apathy, and loss. THE FUTURE. FOREVER.  It comes from LOSS. A FOREVER LOSS. One that makes forever feel far too painful to endure. But this type of loss doesn’t have to mean LOSS OF FOREVER or FOREVER LOST. Perhaps it isn't what we take with us that creates our forever, but what we leave behind. In our "Before." And in our “After.” It’s simply a redefinition of loss and forever. LOST doesn't mean loss. Lost can be found. Like a “Lost And Found.” You never see a sign that says "LOST." It CAN be uncovered and discovered again. Rediscovered. This is how you can redefine and rediscover your forever... F.O.R.E.V.E.R. F - Future possibility in today and tomorrow’s today.
