President Trump says he's still planning to impose import taxes on goods from Canada and Mexico starting tomorrow. In the past he’s floated a rate of 25%, but there could be exceptions. Later on the show, “Marketplace Morning Report” host David Brancaccio continues his dispatch from Altadena, where he and his wife, Mary, lost their home. Yesterday, David looked at a key constraint on rebuilding: where will Californians find the contractors needed with the skills to build from the ground up? Today, he looks at building community.

The original line up of Traffic had it all: mysticism, funk, folk, world music, and a healthy dose of irony. For an acid head like me they were the perfect accompaniment for a trip through shifting patterns of synchronicity. Of course, Traffic was helmed by the one and only Steve Winwood, who as a teenager impressed the world, shouting the blues on “I'm a Man,” and “Keep on Running” with the Spencer Davis Group, and was now considered a full-blown genius. But they also needed Dave Mason for ballast, because after he left the rising balloon, Winwood navigated the group into extended jazz noodle-ville - (but, that's another story!) Who knows what tomorrow may bring from the group's eponymous second album is a deceptively simple groove and mantra that resonates across genres, time-zones, and philosophies, releasing a blast of joy-filled dopamine to one's synaptic receptors, even as one contemplates the evanescence of life. And, that swinging organ counterpoint is smoking! As I felt the waves of dislocation beginning to distort my perceptions, Winwood encouraged me to “step outside” of my mind, and “float across the ceiling…” I trusted him, and so I did just that. And, it was good.

This week Stevens takes us through chapter 4 of the book of James. This chapter is where worldliness clashes with holiness. You can't have both. The Holy Spirit teaches us through James how important it is to submit to God TODAY and not wait!! Tomorrow is not promised and life is too short to waste it on the world, too proud to submit to God. Because we have no guarantee of the future, trusting Jesus in the present is essential. ~~~ What do you have planned for tomorrow? What about the next day? Some of you have plans this time next year! Our phones are full of alarms and reminders to help keep us on track. We live by our calendar. We have personal calendars, work calendars, family calendars and all sorts of others to fit into one big calendar that helps us plan. I love sticky notes. Often they are my reminders. Yes they may cover my counter at times, but whatever works! You know what they say? Fail to plan then plan to fail. Planning is a must, however you do it. Time IS a precious gift. It isnot to be wasted and God is very much about timing and order all throughout scripture. Look at creation. There is purpose in the process and timing of it all. Look at Jesus' ministry. He was so intentional with the time he had on earth and who he spent it with and all he accomplished during His ministry. Planning IS a good thing. Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. God has a perfect plan for your life and He doesn't want a minute wasted. In fact, He created you FOR it and your path becomes clear as you trust and follow Him. I live each day trusting He guides me through it, even when something UNPLANNED happens. On May 31st, plans suddenly shifted. I got a call and in a matter of hours, my Dad was being life-flighted to a neuro ICU in New Orleans. This event was not on any of our calendars, but God knew all along it was the day it would take place. James 4:13-15 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that.” It's good to make plans and work those plans, still God orders every step and HE holds every moment of every day of our life. My dad had plans for May 31st. He was putting his running shoes on and was about to start his day with a three mile run. He lived his life full on for Jesus and every moment counted for him. That moment, that day, while not on his calendar or expected, was no surprise to God. He was near. And every day following that day, while we sort of threw the calendar out the window, God had all of our steps ordered even in the midst of unplanned circumstances. There is a time to die. My dad took his last breath in the early morning hours of June 15th. God knew theday and the hour he would call him home. This life is but a mist. This day, this new and beautiful day you've been given and the breath in your lungs and the beat in your heart is a gift of grace. Jesus is giving you an opportunity right now to trust Him. Today IS the day of salvation. While you may make your plans and trust in those plans, your steps, your life and the days you have been given are ordered by God. You are not promised tomorrow. None of us are. But I know if tomorrow doesn't come for me, I know where I'm going. Right now, call on the name of the Lord and you'll be saved. Tomorrow may be too late. That's the truth. Rest in His love for you and rest in the perfect plans He has for your life. They are for your good and no matter what tomorrow holds you can know who holds it and have peace in your heart. I'm Lori Cline.

Don't put things off, tomorrow may never come. Appreciate the little things. Today I went to grab lunch at a small restaurant near me in Ubud. Just goes to show you that a simple Google and a few photos are not enough in today's world. The map showed the restaurant and the lovely views so I took off on my scooter. My backpack as always was filled with my laptop, chargers, two phones, and my glasses are a must. I never know where I will end up. Having two phones sucks but it's the only way to separate business from personal use. My battery on the Mac is dead, it will last about 15 seconds without the charger. Same deal with the other phone, so it always needs to be near a charger or very little use before it dies. I had to bite the bullet on the new iPhone because it was simply a necessity. Off I went. As I said, I never know where I will end up. This time I visited Sommy restaurant in Ubud and wouldn't you know it, it was part of a small resort. There were individual cabins in the middle of a rice field and the restaurant belonged to the resort. No matter, I was impressed by the view and as seen in the photo. I am sure the locals think the rice fields look nice. When I was a kid I loved the rolling hills of corn fields and how we used to run around and get lost in them. Somehow, this all feels different and this leads to an interesting chat with Pak Made or Mr. Made. Never explore Bali. As I mentioned, I was getting ready to leave for lunch, when Mr. Made stopped me. He is a very gracious host and I like to chat with him. He casually asked where I was headed, and I said I was going for lunch he told me of a place where the locals like to go. This was not the point. I check out from this lovely little place on September the third 2022. I was telling him I want to go to Candidasa. It is a sleepy little town near the ocean and he said it is a lovely place. While talking, I told him how members of my small team never get out and explore Bali. For example, the places we shot content and social media videos for villas and clients were about an hour and a half from my team's home. When they said they have never been I was shocked. I mean Uluwatu is by the cliffs with incredibly stunning sunsets. Yet my husband and wife team had never been. Bedugul, a place that I have written about several times was so far off their radar that they had only gone there when we took some photos for an Airbnb villa. Feel free to check out that link. We think we have time. We all do it. We procrastinate and wait, we put things off another day and we plan for tomorrow. Tomorrow may never come. A friend of the family was in Thailand, he stepped off the curb, looked the wrong way and got hit by a bus. To this day his wife feels he is alive and does not believe his death because she never got to say goodbye. A sad story to end the blog on but such is life. I told my team that they are living in Bali, Island of the Gods and they have seen way less of it than I have. I am their tour guide and I am the one who makes them get out of the house and that is because of work and the content we are shooting for others. Don't put things off, tomorrow may never come. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/zsolt-zsemba/message

Tomorrow (May 21) is a big day. Not the big day, but a big day. In our first episode of Topliner - a show dedicated to the art of songwriting - we chat to multi-talented creative, Jamie Scott, whose writing and production skills have seen him achieve 65 million streams through writing alongside a huge roster of eclectic talent: One Direction, Niall Horan, Rag'n'Bone Man, and Adele - just to name a few. During lockdown, however, he's flipped the creative process on its head, and has been busy creating a new solo album. And it's excellent. Tomorrow (May 1st) he will release the first single from the record, Friendly Fire, which he performs live for us on the show.
The hosts of Undivorcewitable were deeply affected by the death of Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, and the seven others who passed on that tragic day back in January. There was one particular thing that we couldn't stop thinking about and that's all of those plans that Kobe and Vanessa Bryant had that will never happen now. Not the big loft goals but the little things like date nights and romantic vacations. This tragedy has caused UDW to discuss what it means to take actions as a couple before it's too late. Last year to the day, I chatted with my sister, Nicole Smith-Hall of Charleigh Rocks, all about what it's like to be a mompreneur and the things she struggled with balancing it all (especially from a marketing / branding perspective). This year, we're leaving the conversation up to you. What should we chat about? Tell us in the comments below - we'd LOVE to know. Also, should we do this YouTube live? Traditionally, we've only gone live on Facebook, but if you think it's worth it, we'll go live here too! Up to you. Cheers and thanks! Today, we talk about the tech-bending villain Chokepoint! Show Notes: Run Time: 71:03 Right off the bat, we discuss the Iconclad Project and how it took on young Evelyn Moore as in her infancy. You might recall the Ironclad Project from the Bunker episode! Around thirteen minutes in, we talk about The Block, and then a few minutes later, we introduce the F.I.L.T.E.R. Agent Paige Huntly. More on her next week, and more on FILTER and The Block the week after that! We get through her entire backstory without digging into the Termi-Nation story... but not to worry! We do a HUGE section in the Q&A portion of the podcast all about Termi-Nation. Adam reads a letter from the Cult of Gloom. After the episode, we went to the hospital, but they don't deal with that sort of thing. So, he'll probably be fine. Listeners! Tomorrow (May 31st) is Adam's birthday! Two days after that (June 2nd) is Christopher's birthday! For our birthdays, please send us questions about F.I.L.T.E.R., Sergeant Steel, and The Block! Next week is the K.N.Y.F.E. episode, but we've already recorded that one, due to Christopher being in the UK this week for the UK Games Expo. If you're at that show, go see him in the Greater Than Games booth!
Who knows what tomorrow may bring? Not a job, not a home, not a person, not a breath is guaranteed. Who knows what tomorrow may bring? Not I. I know only that I will need him every hour, more than ever. That is the dying of pride, and, what do you know, it feels wonderful! To need him without hesitancy, without pride, is joy sweet and deep. The things that can be shaken have been shaken. But what cannot be shaken remains. Oh draw near to God today. Bring him your wounds. Bring him your losses. Bring him your need. Bring him your feelings of having a wave knock your feet out from under you. Bring him the sense of being lost on the trail. Bring him all of it. Call for him to put you on the rock that is higher and stronger than you are. Draw near to God that he might draw near to you. James 4: 7-8, 13-`7

In a change to the advertised programme, Phil and Paul are joined by the fantastic Martyn Havell from the Badwilf Podcast to have a bit of chat about the official Doctor Who Convention next weekend. They talk about what they are expecting from next weekends shindig, what they are looking forward to the most and also let slip their evil nefarious plans to rip off the general public and seperate them from their cash, to also con money out the stars and crew of Doctor Who and also asking where they can find a stuffed porpoise. Oh and Phil tries to explain this weeks Series 7 production news without giving away spoilers in the most arduous and long winded way possible.
In this episode of TE! Talks, Tomas talks with Thomas Marino, author of the book Tomorrow May Be Too Late.Taken from the authors website:"This book started as a way to ease my distress over my first love affair with another man. It lasted just a short time, and we were young - but the impact of his loss shattered my heart. My first male love helped me fortify my self-confidence. He gave the word "gay" a classy face for me; and one consequence of being with him was learning to never regret taking time to dream on a starry night. As painful as it was, this was a sparkling chapter in my life.My story is set in the last two years of the 1980s, when I was separating from my wife, trying to figure out who I was supposed to be. The book chronicles my time building a nest with this man. I thought, then, that I'd put as much into the relationship as I would have if it had been meant to last forever, while he hadn't; but I realize now that I was wrong. We both got lost in the vast cosmos of inexperience. So, there it is: an honest account of one of my life's milestones, fleshed out with plenty of hot man-on-man sex, work-related dramas, my adventures as a male stripper, and the trials of a first relationship. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed living and writing it."We Need To Talk About It!"

Tomorrow (May 10) is my 29th birthday. Truly insane that there are only 365 days left of my twenties, but I am - without question - the best, hottest, and happiest I've ever been. It's SO problematic that we think women 'expire' in their 30s, because life feels like it's just beginning. In this fun n flirty solo episode, I reflect on the emotional effects of the past year's adventures (moving out of my parents' house! Going blonde! ...Partying at Versailles!), the path to finding my boyfriend after 4 years single, and finally concluding the loooong search for genuine confidence and self-respect...which are an even better gift than Chanel. I used to determine how good my life was by counting accolades, job opportunities, lovers, money; now, it's all about emotional growth. IS THIS ~ADULTHOOD~?! HBD to all my fellow Taurus queens and kings
