POPULARITY
Democrats continue their desperate strategy of comparing Trump to Hitler. The Washington Post will not be making an endorsement in this year's presidential race. Hillary Clinton tries to equate Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden to the Nazi rally. New polls show enthusiasm is down among undecided voters in key battleground states. Gianna Jessen joins us to discuss her advocacy for life as an abortion survivor and how the GOP should speak to voters about these issues. UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has hinted at possible tax rises for those who own shares and assets saying they do not fit his definition of “working people”. Mel Gibson absolutely trashes Kamala Harris in a TMZ video. A Holocaust survivor shreds Kamala Harris, saying that comparing Trump to Hitler is the "worst thing" he has heard in his 75 years of living in the U.S. Neiman Marcus is changing their Christmas catalog to a “Holiday catalog”. RERUN Last Friday Special Edition-Gianna Jessen Survived An Abortion by Kate Dalley
After an attempted late term saline abortion failed, Gianna Jessen was born alive two and a half months early. Weighing just over 2 pounds, the attending nurse had her transported to the hospital and placed in an incubator. Due to Cerebral Palsy she developed, doctors thought she would never be able to even lift her head, let alone walk. Gianna defied odds, not only learning to walk on several occasions as a result of several complicated back surgeries, but completed 2 full marathons and maintains a rigorous training schedule.
Does life really begin at conception? Is there a moment in the womb when a fetus becomes human? Are there times when abortion is necessary? Many of us have found ourselves asking these questions, but the answers can feel challenging to find. On today's episode of "Problematic Women," we explain what resources and tools we have found useful to form our own views and opinions on abortion. Taking the time to study human DNA, reading personal stories of those who have had abortions, and listening to the arguments of those who debate the issue of abortion professionally are all helpful tools to determine your own views on life and abortion. And knowing the arguments on both sides will also help you talk about the issue of abortion with those who think differently than you. Here are seven resources that have helped us determine our views on abortion: Scott Klusendorf's SLED argument.“Created to Live: Becoming the Answer for an Abortion-Free Community,” by Cathy Harris.Live Action video: “Meet Baby Olivia.”“Fighting for Life: Becoming a Force for Change in a Wounded World," by Lila Rose."Chemical Abortion: A Review," by Melanie Israel."The Daily Signal Podcast" interview with abortion survivor Gianna Jessen."The Points of Proof for Life: Scientific," by Brian Fisher.Plus, if you want to send a birthday card to WWII Veteran Bettie, follow this link for all the information. Gianna è una sopravvissuta all'aborto. Voi da quale parte state?
In today's episode of The Van Maren show, Jonathon Van Maren speaks with Gianna Jessen, a well known abortion survivor and pro-life advocate. Ms. Jessen has been mentioned in speeches by President George W Bush. The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Archbishop of Westminster have said that her story could impact the abortion debate. Jessen survived a saline abortion and now uses her story to show people what an abortion. “I am alive. Just by the miraculous power of Christ.”Jessen was born during a saline abortion in a Los Angeles abortion clinic at 29 weeks. Jessen was only 2.5 pounds when she was born, but she miraculously survived. She was born 18 hours into the saline abortion procedure, which burn, blind and suffocates babies who are born dead after 24 hours. Jessen allows people "to actually glimpse face to face the people that abortion has taken from us.” See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

This week on Family Policy Matters, NC Family is excited to re-air an episode from February of 2016. In it, NC Family president John Rustin talks with pro-life advocate and speaker, Gianna Jessen, who was miraculously born alive after her biological mother underwent a failed saline abortion in the 1970s. Jessen tells her amazing story and how God has used her life to promote the sanctity of human life.
A chilling quote is often attributed to Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin: “One death is a tragedy. One million deaths are a statistic.” Stalin is alleged to have said this in the days leading up to one of the largest man-made disasters and mass-murders in history: the 1932 Ukrainian famine. It may be that the quote actually date back even earlier, to a 1916 anarchist periodical. Either way, the line captures the awful reason that mass-murders like Stalin's are so often overlooked or ignored while they're happening. As the anarchist periodical explained, we tend to find the starvation of one child more shocking than the starvation of a million children because our minds are simply “unable to grasp” death on such a scale. “Suffering,” said the publication, “is so intimately personal a thing that it must be explained through the personal equation, if at all.” Anyone who wants to truly communicate the horror of killing needs to do more than cite statistics. They have to tell stories. This holds true for any atrocity, including one that has claimed more lives than even the highest estimates of Stalin's regime. Princeton professor Robert George recently shared a collection of five abortion survivors' stories on Facebook. The stories were compiled by the pro-life website Human Defense and include detailed videos of each man or woman giving their gut-wrenching, first-hand testimonies of an ongoing, legal mass-killing—and how they escaped it. Some of these are names you may have heard before, like Gianna Jessen who survived a saline abortion at seven months gestation. As a result, she was born with cerebral palsy. Gianna has overcome her disability to become a powerful speaker, a household pro-life name, and one of the world's most effective advocates for the unborn. Other survivors on the list you may not have heard of. Melissa Ohden survived a second-trimester abortion attempt because she was actually older than doctors thought. Ohden was subsequently adopted, and only found out about the abortion as a teenager. She responded by tracking down her birth parents and forgiving them. Since then, she's linked up with over 200 others with similar stories through her organization, Abortion Survivors Network. Then there's Nik Hoot. A botched abortion that destroyed parts of both of his legs and several fingers. Nik was adopted by an Indiana family and soon learned, faster than anyone expected, how to get around on prosthetic legs. In 2013, he made it to his state high school wrestling championship and finished the season with 24 wins. He's also played baseball, basketball, and football, and says he considers his life a miracle. But it's more than a miracle. His life, and the life of every abortion survivor is a profoundly powerful testimony to the humanity of the millions whose lives end when abortion succeeds. The scars and disabilities many survivors bear are a silent witness to the grisly reality of what our society calls “choice.” Among the miracles of these stories are how many abortion survivors make a very different choice. In story after story, the children of abortion say they've forgiven their birth parents—often even in person. Can you even imagine that? Well, with God, even this is possible. Many survivors of abortion are outspoken about their Christian faith and they'll share it with anyone who will listen. Come to BreakPoint.org, and I will link you to these stories of survival. I hope you'll read all of them and watch their videos. These incredible men and women have a razor-sharp moral clarity about abortion. After all, for them abortion is not an issue. It can't be understood merely by the scale of the numbers. Abortion is part of their biography. I'm convinced that if we are to see this legal atrocity end in our lifetimes, it will largely be because enough people come face-to-face with the real victims who find themselves on the other end of the so-called right to choose. http://www.breakpoint.org/2019/03/breakpoint-abortion-survivors-speak-out/
The Left’s Rush to Infanticide | The Mark Harrington Show | 2-29-19 With the recent vote of 44 Senate Democrats (including 6 presidential candidates) refusing to protect born children from murder, the nation has once again been confronted by the overt barbarism of abortion advocates. The debate is no longer about a woman’s right to choose but rather the right of a woman to have a dead baby as a result even if the baby has been born. This is a now a debate over infanticide. To defend themselves, Democrats say babies are never born alive as a result of a failed abortion. Living examples like Melissa Ohden and Gianna Jessen beg to differ. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), nationwide, between 2003 and 2014 at least 143 babies died after being born alive during botched abortions – and the CDC states this could be an underestimation. In 2018, 16 infants in Florida alone were born alive after surviving abortion attempts. As a result of the brazen support by abortion advocates of up-until-birth and post-birth abortions, Americans are changing their view on all abortions. Last month, Marist released its annual abortion survey, which found that just 38% of Americans considered themselves “pro-life” versus 55% “pro-choice,” with an additional 7% unsure. Forty eight percent of Americans said they would either completely ban abortions or limit them to cases of rape, incest, or to save a mother’s life; the rest of the findings indicated overwhelming majority support for restricting abortion much more than it is today. A new Marist poll shows 80% of Americans want to limit abortion to the first three months of pregnancy but Democrats can’t even find consensus to limit abortion after a child is born. Also, Marist now finds the “pro-life” and “pro-choice” labels tied at 47% with 6% unsure, and a combined 58% of Americans who would ban all or most abortions. Only 21% of Americans would allow elective abortions past the first trimester, down from 24%. When pro-lifers take this issue to the people, Democrats’ obsession with killing babies will kill their chances at the ballot box and help to ensure the re-election of President Donald Trump. Watch and listen to Mark discuss these issues and provide practical direction for every American who loves life. People couldn't ignore Gianna Jessen's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee in September 2015. That's because Gianna is a real-life survivor of a botched abortion. Her story is amazing-- but even more amazing is the way she has used her platform to courageously speak up for the sanctity of human life all over the globe. What biblical truth do we need to understand if we are going to be a champion for human life-- especially the most helpless in the womb?
