Folks, AAA Triplemania 34 was HUGE — two nights, tremendous action, tremendous chaos, and some very shocking winners. Nobody reviews lucha libre like we do, nobody!Night 1 started with Adelicious, Mini Vikingo, and Mascarita Sagrada beating Lady Shani, Jack Cartwheel, and Mini Abismo Negro in a fun opener — very unfortunate injury for Shani, we wish her the best. Then Los Americanos defeated LWO, Tokyo Bad Boys, and Fraxiom in a GREAT tag match with a Diving Headbutt — incredible victory for the Americanos, believe me. Roxanne Perez won a Fatal Four-Way over Nattie, Faby Apache, and La Hiedra to earn a Reina de Reinas title shot at Worlds Collide. La Parka retained the AAA Latin American Championship over Mr. Iguana and Laredo Kid in a fun triple threat. Los Perros del Mal defeated Los Psycho Circus to win the AEW World Trios Titles after Psycho Clown replaced Panic Clown — big title change, folks! And in the main event, Omos defeated Rey Mysterio, getting his AAA suspension lifted. A very big man, a very big win.Night 2 brought even more insanity! Amos won the Copa Bardahl after last eliminating Niño Hamburguesa. La Catalina ended Flammer's historic Reina de Reinas reign with a Running Knee in a damn good match — huge moment! El Carnicero defeated Psycho Clown in a brutal Mexican Street Fight after Pagano came out to "protect" Psycho, then moved out of the way — tremendous storytelling, tremendous betrayal. Rey Fénix retained the AAA Cruiserweight Title against Nathan Frazer, Jack Cartwheel, and Mini Vikingo in a match so wild all we could say was: Jesus Christ. The Wagner Brothers answered the War Raiders' open challenge and WON the AAA World Tag Team Titles with a Frog Splash. And in the main event, El Grande Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio to become the NEW AAA Mega Champion in a fantastic match! Two nights, massive title changes, big drama, and majestic lucha action. Psalm 8 September 13, 2026

The winged horse Pegasus is one of the most iconic figures in Ancient Greek, and indeed world, mythology. Our study of the majestic creature takes us to unexpected places, from the dark depths of the Gorgon Medusa's lair, to the heights of Olympus. We uncover symbolic meaning in the Pegasus story with just as much range, from the workings of our innermost selves, to a cosmic lesson. Our study of Greek and Roman sources in art and texts including Hesiod's Theogony and Ovid's Metamorphoses.Much love to Downtown Dallas, Texas, where this was filmed! Pegasus Plaza is a lovely urban area dedicated to Pegasus and the Muses, and the fine people at Pegasus City Brewing have great beer and a really cool atmosphere.00:00 Introduction00:07 Perseus on Pegasus Slaying Medusa by John Singer Sargent00:20 Pegasus on the Fountain Hippocrene by Benvenuto Cellini00:25 The Muse on Pegasus by Odilon Redon00:38 A Monster Transformed01:02 Achilles and Memnon, between Thetis and Eos by the Munich Painter01:06 Pallas Athena by Gustav Klimt01:13 Running Gorgon by the Berlin Painter01:21 The Idol of Perversity by Jean Delville01:38 Medusa and Neptune Embracing by Johannes Zainer02:03 Secession Poster by Gustav Klimt02:13 Medusa by Jacek Malczewski02:46 Portrait of Actress Helena Sulima as a Gorgon by Jacek Malczewski02:53 The Head of the Gorgon Representing Tuberculosis by W Wassermann03:14 Head of Medusa by Godfried Maes03:19 Legend of Galatea by Baldassarre Peruzzi03:34 Medusa Shield by Arnold Böcklin03:38 Head of Medusa from the Uffizi Gallery03:44 Medusa by Evelyn de Morgan04:00 Pegasus Departing by Albert Pinkham Ryder04:21 Pegasus' Flight04:29 Winged Horse from the Louvre04:34 Minerva Visits the Muses by Jan Brueghel the Elder, Joos de Momper the Younger, and Hendrick van Balen the Elder05:04 Pegasus Among Flowers by Józef Mehoffer05:19 Pegasus by the Barclay Painter06:02 Chimera by the Bellerophon Painter, photographed by ArchaiOptix, licensed under Creative Commons06:12 Bellerophon Killing hte Chimera by Francesco di Giorgio06:28 Bellerophon, Pegasus, and Athena from Pompeii06:44 Bellerophon and Pegasus by Julius Troschel06:49 Bellerophon Mosaic from Nîmes07:08 Bellerophon and the Chimera from the National Archaeological Museum of Athens07:15 The Ultimate Flight07:19 Bellerophon and Pegasus from Apulia, photographed by Romanwindwhistler, licensed under Creative Commons07:39 “Yes, there he sat, on the back of the winged horse!” by Mary Hamilton Frye07:52 Jupiter and Bellerophon by Erik Cornelius08:16 Bellerophon on Pegasus by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo08:43 Bellerophon is Sent to the Campaign Against the Chimera by Alexander Andreyevich Ivanov09:00 Pegasus' Wings09:23 Pegasus and the Hydra by Odilon RedonMythos & Logos are two ancient words that can be roughly translated as “Story & Meaning.”Support the channel by subscribing, liking, and commenting to join the conversation!Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/mythosandlogosAll works of art are public domain unless stated otherwise.

Pastor Troy Dobbs begins the book of Hebrews by inviting believers to see Jesus more clearly and majestically. In Hebrews 1:1-3, Jesus is revealed as God's final Word, the heir and creator of all things, the radiance of God's glory, the exact imprint of His nature, and the One who sustains the universe. He is also the perfect High Priest and sacrifice who purified sin once for all and now reigns at God's right hand. Because Jesus is fully God, believers can give Him their complete allegiance and confidence. His finished work secures forgiveness, removes condemnation, and offers peace in the middle of chaos. Pastor Troy encourages believers to rest in Christ and grow in their vision of Him, trusting that the One who holds the universe together can hold their lives together too.

Should you sell your business, rebuild it, or just burn it all down? This is a common fork almost every established business owner reaches, often without warning. Suzi Dafnis unpacks why the question of whether to sell your business tends to show up around year eight, nine, or ten of running a business — not because something's gone wrong, but because you've finally built something durable enough to ask whether you actually want it. Suzi walks through why all three impulses — to sell your business, burn it down, or start over over — usually point to the same root cause: not the business, but the operating system it's still running on. The one you built years ago, under different conditions, with different resources, as a different version of yourself. Using the story of a woman she calls Julia, an agency owner who nearly sold her fifteen-year business before realising what she actually wanted wasn't out, it was a different "in". Suzi introduces a fourth option nobody names: not selling, not burning it down, but rebuilding the woman running the business first, and letting the business follow. You'll hear about the cost of sanding yourself down to be taken seriously over a decade-plus in business, and why the edge you learned to soften is often the same edge that made the work feel alive in the first place. Suzi reframes the whole decision: the real question isn't sell your business, burn it down, or rebuild it — it's what you'd build, or keep, if you stopped editing yourself down to fit it. Suzi closes with three questions worth sitting with over the next week — not to answer immediately, but to write down honestly:  What am I relieved to lose if I sold this, and what am I afraid to admit I'd miss?  What am I actually craving when I imagine burning it down and starting from zero? And,  If I stopped editing myself down to run this, what would I change about how I lead tomorrow? Suzi also shares a first look at Majestic, a new experience she's building for women exactly at this fork. Applications open this October, and you can join the list now at majestic.herbusiness.com. What You'll Discover In Episode 378: Sell Your Business or Rebuild It? What Every Established Woman Entrepreneur Eventually Asks Why the thought, "Should I sell it, burn it down, or start over?" tends to arrive around year eight, nine, or ten… and what it's actually signaling The difference between a business that's thriving and one that's durable, and why so many women reach "successful" before they let themselves ask who it's thriving FOR How all three impulses usually trace back to the same root cause, and why that it actually great news for you The "operating system" idea: how a business can scale for a decade while still running on the assumptions of a version of you who no longer exists The fourth option almost nobody names, and why it all begins with the woman running the business rather than the org chart or the offer suite The cost of sanding yourself down to be taken seriously, and how to tell whether your edge is gone for good… or is just waiting for permission to come back Three questions worth sitting with this week A first look at Majestic, the new experience Suzi's building for women standing at exactly this fork, with applications opening in October Mentioned in this Episode: The Growth Network — the HerBusiness community for women business owners ready to do business by their own rules Full episode summary and resources – Episode 378 Show Notes @herbusiness on Instagram and Facebook

Why has wine held such a powerful place in religion for thousands of years? In this episode of Pod Have Mercy, John shares a conversation originally hosted by the Wine Scholar Guild with Justin Martindale exploring the fascinating intersection of wine, culture, history, and faith. From the ancient world to the modern table, John and Justin discuss why wine became a symbol of blessing and abundance, its central role in Jewish and Christian traditions, and the complicated relationship between Christianity and alcohol throughout history. They also explore how monasteries helped preserve viticulture after the fall of the Roman Empire and how generations of monks helped lay the groundwork for many of the vineyard traditions and regional distinctions we recognize today. The conversation also turns to the spiritual lessons found in the vineyard itself—from dormancy and pruning to new growth, harvest, stress, and old vines. John reflects on how the life cycle of the vine offers a powerful picture of growth, resilience, generosity, and the ways our lives can bear fruit for people we may never even meet.Justin Martindale MW is a wine educator, consultant, judge, and the Membership & Community Manager for the Wine Scholar Guild. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Justin's path to wine began after studying music at Leeds University and briefly working as a classical musician. He entered the wine trade with Majestic in 2008 before establishing the Lothian Wine School in Edinburgh in 2013.Justin earned the prestigious Master of Wine (MW) title in 2022. In the process, he received the Madame Bollinger Award for the best tasting performance and the Quinta do Noval Award for the best research paper. His work spans wine education, broadcasting, consulting, writing, judging, food and wine pairing, and exploring the broader cultural significance of wine.Links & Resources[https://www.mastersofwine.org/justin-...][https://www.winescholarguild.com/blog...][https://www.mastersofwine.org/]

Is your life part of a greater purpose, or can it sometimes feel like a collection of random circumstances? In this devotional, Megan J. Conner explores what Romans 8:28-30 teaches about God’s purpose, His sovereignty, and His ability to work through every part of our lives. Your story is not an accident, and your circumstances are not beyond God’s reach. From creation to the way God knows and loves each of us personally, Scripture points to a God who has been present throughout our entire story. Even when we cannot understand what He is doing, we can trust that He is working all things together for good and drawing us closer to Him. Highlights Why it’s natural to wonder whether your life has a purpose What Romans 8:28-30 reveals about God’s plan and purpose How creation points to the intentional design of our Creator Why your life is not simply a random collection of circumstances How God can use every part of your story to draw you closer to Him The importance of seeking biblical discernment when considering life's bigger questions How gratitude can help us recognize where God has already been working Want more encouragement throughout your week? Conner Bible Reading:“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.” - Rom. 8:28-30 (NLT) Have you ever wondered if God has a plan and a purpose for you? Or does it seem like your life has aimlessly evolved over time? Do you believe the circumstances you are in now are the result of fate or predestination? Or do you think your journey on this earth has simply been happenstance, a completely random assortment of events with no rhyme or reason behind each occurrence? These are tough questions that many of us tend to wrestle with internally. Whether we share these musings with others or not, many of us ponder whether our lives really have a purpose, and, if so, who or what is behind it. The world offers boundless explanations for humanity’s origin and design. From pointless existence to eternal destiny, it seems there are ideologies ready to appease any appetite or preference. However, an abundance of theories can cause chaos and confusion rather than promote confident assurance. This is why we must carefully consider and ask for God’s help with discernment as we contemplate the deeper meaning of each of our lives, so that we… “won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth,” (Eph. 4:14, NLT). As you seek to understand your reason for being, the answers might be much closer than you think. You do not need to travel the world or climb the highest mountain peak in search of purpose. You don’t need to exhaustively study to ascertain the origin of wisdom. You simply need to look up and look out. The answers you seek are evident right in front of your very eyes through creation. Nature, in all of its glory, demonstrates the divine. Majestic, intelligent design causes the sun to rise and set, the earth to orbit through the universe, and each individual heart to beat without conscious thought or effort. John 1:3 states, “God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him,” (NLT). Our Maker separated the sky from the waters, established all manner of life from the smallest seed to the giant sequoias, and formed you personally, individually, uniquely in your mother’s womb (Ps. 139:13). He knew you before you spoke your first word. He treasured you before you were even aware of his existence. So great is God’s love for you that he chose to proactively cover your sin and separation from God through the sacrifice of his only Son (John 3:16, Rom. 5:8). Even further, he has caused all things to work together for your good. Your life is not an accident. It is not the result of an arbitrary series of events. He has known you and chosen you. His eye has been upon every moment of your life. He has predestined your steps so that you would be drawn closer to him and share in his glory. Intersecting Faith & Life: Do you feel that your life has meaning and purpose? Or do you wrestle with a lack of fulfillment and clarity? Have you wondered if your journey through life has been a haphazard assortment of random events? Or do you believe God has had a plan and a purpose behind every step? Regardless of which side you find yourself on, may I encourage you to take some time to reflect on today’s truths? If you read these words with confidence and assurance that God has been at work in your life, take some time to thank him for his good work. Think through specific circumstances where you know God was a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path (Ps. 119:05) and offer a prayer of gratitude. If today’s message was unfamiliar and challenged you to consider God’s presence in the design of your life, may I encourage you to recite this simple prayer below? As you pray, ask the Lord to give you eyes to clearly see how he has been at work in and through your life. Lord, I come to you today unsure of your plans and purpose in my life. Would you help me to visibly see how you have been present and at work in my journey thus far? Even though I am still a bit unsure, I choose to believe that you see me and know me. Help me to fully comprehend your love for me. Amen. What are the Spanish wine regions and grape varieties you need to know beyond Rioja and Ribera del Duero? In this episode of Eat Sleep Wine Repeat, Janina heads to Spain with Sarah Jane Evans MW, one of the world's leading experts on Spanish wine, to explore the regions, grapes and wine classifications that deserve far more attention - from Jerez and Castilla-La Mancha to Valencia, Madrid and Extremadura.  At the heart of the conversation is Vino de Pago, one of Spain's most fascinating and misunderstood wine classifications. Sarah Jane explains what Vino de Pago actually means, how it differs from Spain's traditional regional classifications and why these individual estates have the freedom to explore distinctive terroirs, indigenous grape varieties and different winemaking styles.  We also explore some of Spain's lesser-known grape varieties, including Merseguera, Albillo Real, Bobal and old-vine Monastrell, as well as the country's extraordinary heritage of old vineyards. Sarah Jane shares the Spanish wine regions she thinks could be the next big thing, from Jerez and Utiel-Requena to Madrid, Extremadura, the Canary Islands and Catalonia, plus her recommendations for Spanish wines under £20.  If you're looking to discover Spanish wine beyond Rioja, learn more about Vino de Pago, explore lesser-known Spanish wine regions and find exciting Spanish grapes and great-value wines, this episode is a brilliant place to start.  This episode was sponsored by Pago Finca Elez. Their Wines available in the UK through Fareham Wine Cellars as well as through importers in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan and Hungary, with additional smaller importers across Europe.    Shownotes 02:53 – What keeps surprising Sarah Jane about Spain — after decades of travelling through the country, why new generations, producers and wines mean there is always something new to discover. 03:58 – Jerez: The Spanish Wine Region Reinventing Itself Beyond Sherry — why Jerez is no longer just about traditional Sherry and how a new generation of unfortified wines is changing perceptions of the region. 06:30 – Jerez Beyond Sherry: Palomino, Albariza Soils & Unfortified Spanish Wine — how unfortified Palomino wines and the region's famous albariza soils could offer a new gateway into Sherry country. 10:05 – How to find the good stuff — Sarah Jane's advice for discovering exciting unfortified wines from Jerez through producers, specialist importers and independent wine merchants. 13:21 – What exactly is Vino de Pago? — understanding Spain's unique single-estate classification and why it was created for distinctive vineyards outside the country's famous denominations. 18:07 – Grandes Pagos de España vs Vino de Pago: What's the Difference?  — how this private association brings together leading Spanish wine estates, and why it should not be confused with the official Vino de Pago classification.  20:29 – A Vino de Pago beside Ribera del Duero — how Abadía Retuerta used the classification to establish its own identity just outside one of Spain's most famous wine regions. 23:15 – Why every Vino de Pago is different — individual grape varieties, altitude, terroir and winemaking mean there is no single style connecting these unique estates. 24:16 – Has Vino de Pago been a success? — how the classification has evolved and why producers can use its independence to experiment beyond traditional regional rules. 27:00 – Discovering Merseguera — the little-known Spanish white grape offering citrus freshness, herbal character and exciting potential in the vineyards around Utiel-Requena. 29:13 – The rise of Albillo Real — another traditional Spanish white variety finding renewed relevance as producers and consumers increasingly look beyond the country's famous red wines. 31:38 – Why is Vino de Pago so difficult to explore? — the surprising lack of a complete online resource covering all of Spain's recognised Vino de Pago estates. 32:35 – Pago Finca Élez — discover one of Spain's pioneering Vino de Pago estates, recognised in 2002 alongside Marqués de Griñón, and its high-altitude vineyards in Castilla-La Mancha.  35:28 – How to discover Spain's Vino de Pago estates — Sarah Jane explains where to research them, including her own guide to the wines of Central and Southern Spain. 37:23 – The Wines of Central and Southern Spain — the years of travel, vineyard visits and personal relationships behind Sarah Jane's detailed guide to some of Spain's most overlooked wine regions. 43:15 – Spain beyond the famous regions — why Madrid, Extremadura, Valencia and Utiel-Requena offer fascinating alternatives for adventurous wine lovers. 45:48 – Why Bobal deserves your attention — old vines, extreme growing conditions, freshness and texture are transforming perceptions of this once-overlooked Spanish grape. 48:02 – Spain's extraordinary old-vine heritage — why ancient vineyards and indigenous grape varieties could become increasingly important as the wine industry adapts to climate change. 51:25 – Which Spanish wine region will be the next big thing? — Sarah Jane looks to the Canary Islands, Catalonia and other emerging regions that could gain greater international recognition over the next decade. 56:59 – The Spanish wine region closest to Sarah Jane's heart — why Jerez, its people, food, bars and changing wine culture continue to draw her back. 58:30 – Spanish wine under £20 — Sarah Jane reveals an unexpected first recommendation. 01:00:07 – Sarah Jane's Spanish wines under £20 — six great-value picks including Marks & Spencer Found Balearic Islands Red, Waitrose No.1 Castillo Perelada Cava Brut, The Wine Society's Rafael Cambra Monastrell Garnacha, Morrisons The Best Albariño, Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Fino Reserva Sherry and Bodega Cerrón Remordimiento from Majestic. 01:03:44 – Discover more with Sarah Jane Evans MW — find her book The Wines of Central and Southern Spain at Academie du Vin Library and use code EATSLEEP15 for 15% off.
